    So good!

So good!! Super clean inside with friendly employees. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. The sandwiches are huge! Best bread hands down. We will definitely be back.

You guys... get over to this sandwich spot immediately!!! Huge sandwich person and Italian here -- this is the best and most authentic sandwich place I've found in southern Orange County. I'm extremely particular with my grinder sandwiches and this one checked every box. Perfectly sauced, amazing crispy Italian roll, super thinly sliced lettuce-- just incredible flavors all around. Tastes like my favorite Italian deli I used to go to in LA (Capri). My husband got the east coast pastrami and oh my... it lives up to its name! Best pastrami sandwich we've had since Catz in NY. Attentive, friendly and quick service. Clean, simple and vaguely resembling a NY deli for the interior. So impressed. Will be returning here soon and frequently thereafter.

Solid new spot in Mission Viejo across from Saddleback College. I love a NY pastrami and although this isn't it still a great sandwich nonetheless. The meat is like steaky in texture and with Swiss cheese (add on) and mustard you can't go wrong. My only recommendation is for them to go with a true rye bread and not this one that has like sesame seeds and grains on the corners. The service is great and they are very courteous. I'm sure a lot of students and faculty will start coming here if they haven't started already. Will come again.

I had the New York sandwich. The roast beef was shaved and it was delicious. I couldn't find any fat. I asked for extra mayo and they didn't forget. The sourdough bread was grilled upon my request and it was prepared just right. I would eat here again.

    Just Fries, $3.75

Bronx Sandwich has long been on my list of sandwiches to check out. I ordered "The Boss" ($12.49), Just Fries ($3.75), and a Giant Black & White Cookie ($3.99). The generous sandwich (adequate to share) was securely and neatly wrapped, and attractive in presentation. For me, the bread elevates the sandwich; their baguette has a nice, delicate crunch on the exterior, with a soft-&-chewy interior. The sandwich had a decent amount of stacked ingredients, requiring me to open my mouth wide in order to take a bite; while I enjoyed my sandwich, my thoughts are that my sandwich would have tasted better with increased tang and acidity from more red onions and Italian dressing (barely detected either). I'm selective about fries; these (especially fresh-off-the-fryer) were satisfyingly hot and tasty (delicate crunchy exterior with tender interior... mmm!)! I found their Black & White cookie fun, but not an item I'm longing to reorder. The small interior is clean and comfortable, offering a total of 20 chairs, mainly 2-4 person tables (which includes a high-top table which seats 4). Glad to have finally experienced Bronx, and to have another sandwich option.

    Philly Cheesesteak

Was passing through the area and grabbed lunch here. Excellent find. Clean establishment and friendly staff. Best part are the sandwiches. Hands down the best Ruben and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches I've had. And I just tried the famous Cheesesteak from Philly in Philly, as well as local spots known for it there. Either way, I would recommend you come give them a try for yourself and be the judge.

Turkey Sandwich, and fresh made chips

Bronx Sandwich in Mission Viejo is hands down my favorite sandwich spot in the OC. I dropped in on a Friday off, and even though the menu had everything from pastrami to shrimp po' boys, I went with a classic turkey sandwich -- and wow. The bread was unbelievably fresh, fluffy, and moist, packed with plenty of turkey and all the right toppings. I ordered the full size but could only finish half -- it's that generous. To top it off, the owner threw in some freshly made chips... and let me tell you, I've never had anything like them. Crunchy, flavorful, and just ridiculously good. I'll definitely be coming back. This place is a gem!

Tucked inside Avery Plaza, Bronx Sandwich Company has truly won the hearts of locals--and now mine too. This plaza continues to grow with great restaurants serving the community, and Bronx Sandwich is no exception. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see how many local families were supporting the spot. While waiting in line, I noticed how clean and well-organized the interior was, with plenty of seating for guests to enjoy their meals comfortably--especially appreciated in the hot weather. I asked for some recommendations and ended up ordering The Hitman--and wow, it lived up to its name! A killer sandwich packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I also tried the Philly Cheesesteak, which was phenomenal. The house-made potato chips were another highlight--crispy, fresh, and not greasy at all. What made the experience even more memorable was the owner personally checking in with guests outside, making sure everyone was satisfied. It's always special when you can feel the care behind the food, and it definitely enhances the whole experience. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

I've been to Katz deli in New York and ever since I've been trying to find a place in Southern California that might be even a little close. So I decided to try Bronx sandwich. I ordered an East coast pastrami and The Boss. The Boss was a good sandwich, but nothing special. The East coast pastrami was very disappointing. The sandwich had way too much mustard, the pastrami was not thick cut. Pretty thin honestly, for $16 I expected better pastrami. It doesn't look like the pictures. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We have been to Bronx Sandwich in Costa Mesa some years ago and remembered that it was a pretty solid choice for a quick meal. This location is on Marguerite just North of Avery but South of the mall. Plenty of parking and several food choices in this strip mall. Service is really good, they got our orders correct and the sandwiches were very good! The club was my favorite so definitely recommend that one.

    The Babe, so good!
    Erica O.

Starting from when I arrived first thing I noticed was how clean it was and organized. The owner/manager was very welcoming. Told me it would take about 10 minutes because he wanted them to bake our bread fresh. I ordered the Hitman and The Babe, side of Mac and potato salad. I'll say the sides were just ok and didn't taste homemade but since I came in for the sandwich I'm basing my review on that. The bread was warm with a perfect crunch and not soggy. The hit man was delicious and the juices ran through, very good with the added pickles. The babe had the perfect layers of turkey. I forgot the yellow mustard so might need that next time but it was perfect! Highly recommend and will definitely come back to try a different sandwich. Lots of great menu options!

    Pastrami Reuben
    Mark T.

Probably a solid 3.5 stars, just not 4. The pastrami Reuben with kraut was good. Was nice and tender sliced pastrami, kraut, pickles on toasted rye. The rye bread was kind of lacking flavor, but still decent. I would definitely order the Pastrami Reuben again. The "Hitman" on the other hand I was not a fan of at all. It had the same pastrami which was good, the other meat was the brisket, this is where the sandwich failed, the brisket really had a mushy bad texture with no flavor, it was actually off putting. I tried to pull all the brisket off the sandwich but the cheese was melted and glueing in all together. The onions were decent on it, but would have been better if grilled a little more (IMO) I would not get this sandwich again. Although the Rueben was good, I don't see myself coming back here to get it. If I'm in the area I may swing in, but I would not drive out of my way.

Half Philly and Hitman with a garden salad...delicious!

Delicious! It is our first and definitely not our last visit to The Bronx Sandwich. My daughter and I shared half of a Philly Cheesesteak and a Hitman...what a great decision. Both were very delicious. The Hitman is more savory with the flavors of the meats marrying nicely. The Philly is just perfectly cheesy and with the onions adding a great savory finish. Both are very good. Parking is easy. Inside is nice. We ordered online bc we had our dog with us and our order was promptly prepared. Definitely coming back and would highly recommend this to anyone.

I'd driven past it plenty of times on the way to the dog groomer and never once felt compelled to stop. Friday night changed that. We were hungry, but not sit-down-for-two-hours hungry. We wanted something better than fast food, but not some overproduced evening of cocktails and self-importance. We wanted food worth getting out of the car for. Rangeen hit that mark beautifully. Getting my wife on board took some work. She's not a curry person. But a few online photos of fresh, vibrant salads were enough to win her over. Inside, the place still showed traces of whatever came before it, a blank quick-serve menu screen hanging awkwardly over the counter, like a relic from another life. But this was table service, and a perfectly comfortable one at that. There were maybe eight or nine tables, and one lone server holding down the front of house. Casual, older, thin, moving with purpose. She greeted us warmly, dropped menus, answered the phone, checked back often, kept the table tidy, and somehow managed to make the whole room feel cared for without a hint of drama. I went for the spicy mango chicken. My wife chose a healthy-looking salad with grilled sweet potatoes, nuts, and all the things I generally avoid unless someone smarter than me orders them first. We added naan, because not ordering naan would have been foolish. The food took a few minutes longer than the impatient part of your brain might expect. But then it arrived, and suddenly none of that mattered. My dish was excellent: nicely seasoned bite-sized pieces of chicken, rice, a fresh side salad, and a spicy sauce that pulled the whole thing together with real intention. And the plating, that was the surprise. This wasn't tossed on a plate like an afterthought from the spot next to the grocery store. It looked like someone actually gave a damn. And that, really, is what stays with you. Not just that the food was good, but that care had gone into it. The ingredients may not have been expensive, I say that as someone who owns restaurants and knows roughly what things cost, but value isn't about raw food cost. It's about what arrives at the table, how it's presented, and whether anybody in the building seems to care if you enjoy it. At $19, this was a steal. For about the price of a drive-thru burger meal, I got something thoughtful, well executed, and satisfying enough to remind me why local places like this matter. And to the party of four next to us who only left a five-dollar tip: do better.

We recently had the pleasure to enjoy catering done by Rangeen Kitchen. The service, presentation…read moreand quality of the food was excellent. In fact, I don't want to call it food. I'd rather call it an experience. My family and I predominantly enjoyed the desert selections. They were all nicely done - creative, tasty and light. Kept craving for more, even though I don't have a sweet tooth! Sukhi and team pulled it off nicely. It was great performance to say the least!
