This place is good to go eat and relax. It can get spotty finding somewhere to sit. Place has a lot of movement and can be noisy inside when they're busy. Coffee is awesome and food is amazing. read more

We've been to Lola's several times but today's experience was not good. For some reason the service was really slow yet there weren't that many people in the café. My meal came out 30 minutes after my wife's meal and everyone around us were waiting as well. I asked for a refill on my iced tea since I had been waiting for so long but was told that a refill would be 50 cents. Good customer service would have provided a free refill. Just sayin... read more

Yes. This place is great! You should visit. Put your phone down, shut down your computer, find a friend or loved one and head to Lola's! The staff is very sweet, not super or overly talkative, but always very polite and kind. The food is very fresh and innovative, and totally worth the price. You know you're getting real, whole and fresh ingredients, and their price reflects that. A tip would be to visit on a weekday, if you can, as they get really busy over the weekend and have somewhat limited seating. I don't want to scare you away, but their peak times are busy. They close fairly early so I would recommend checking their hours out before you go. (Ps: their breakfast is bomb, iced coffee/cold brew - 100% recommend, and all their soups are soo tasty!) Ok, so now that I have typed this review, I simultaneously have convinced myself to stop by asap! It's always a nice treat to go to Lola's! read more

I just left Lola's Cafe and I have to say I'm so disappointed right now. I've been coming here for about a year and as everyone know, Lola's is super expensive. I go there for convenience, the food is very good and healthy, but nothing that I couldn't cook myself. So here it goes, there was a FLY ON MY SANDWICH. When I approached the owner to tell him (very quietly by the way because I didn'twant anyone to hear me), he first questioned me, did not say he was sorry, and asked me if I wanted another sandwich. Literally looking at me like I was lying. I spend $70 dollars on 2 sandwiches, 1 salad and 2 kids pizzas. I gave $7 in tip. Any place that charge you that much should give you the best service. So sad that just because you live in O.C restaurants think they are doing you a favor instead of serving you. You are a restaurant, serving people is what you do. Well, I won't be going back to Lola's that's for sure. read more

This is such a little gem of a locally owned and operated (the owner Matt even works the register!), locally sourced, creative and home made gourmet foods! I love so many things here. Breakfast fave: vegan burrito (I'm not even vegan) or the egg avocado smash (slammin!) and one of their imaginative and delicious flavored lattes. Lunch: Flatbreads are to die for and the kale and brussels sprouts salad is amazing. And the Mediterranean tuna melt! So many good things. Great pastries, many gluten-free options. Great options for vegetarians and vegans (they know how to do that right for sure!). Beer and wine, mimosas! A small shopping area to support local artisans and craftspeople. This wonderful spot has everything, with a friendly, local vibe that is hard to find around here. It's hands down my favorite breakfast and lunch spot. read more

Hands down the best pumpkin spice latte I've ever had! And the toast and preserves are decadent.

Love this place!!! Awesome food, friendly people. The owner Matt is super nice and we enjoyed his breakfast burritos very much! We need more good people like him. Let's support good neighborhood small business! read more

Margherita Flatbread-To die for. Cheese melty but not disintegrated, tomatoes at the peak of ripeness, enough parmesan to add a kick to the pizza but not so much that it becomes a grainy sandy mess. No burnt parts of the flatbread. Perfect. Quinoa Tabbouli-it's fresh in a bad way. Say what? Quinoa tabbouli salad needs to sit overnight for the flavors to really develop and permeate all the ingredients. This salad tasted like it was literally made this morning. Not good. I took home half and reseasoned it and am letting it sit until tomorrow. Tuna sandwich-cold and compressed filling didn't impress. The bread was a standard sourdough. I would return to try other things, but not the cold tuna sandwich nor the quinoa tabbouli salad. Waiter removing dishes with cutlery piled high above my small child's head-docked a star. read more

I am a 12 year veteran in the service industry and 10 years of that was spent specifically in a breakfast/cafe setting. Simply put, Lola's cafe knows their stuff. The service is impeccable, the food is delicious, and you can tell the owners of this family owned establishment truly care about the quality of food and experience this cafe has to offer. That attention to detail is hard to find these days. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Thank you Lola's for keeping it real. CHEERS! read more

The food here is really good, we weren't huge fans of their breakfast burritos but everything is good enough to try again! My biggest complaint is that everything is really expensive. read more

Such a good place! So cute to brag a bit at , wasn't too pleased with the lavender latte. It just tasted like a regular latte. Coffee wasn't great but food was fantastic read more

Lola's Cafe - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

I love whatever I get every time! Breakfast egg sandwich is great. I would recommend the multigrain toast with Marscapone cheese and jam. Lavender Arnold Palmer is a must! Owner is so nice and can give great suggestions for whatever you're feeling that day. It's always a good idea to go to Lola's! Wish there were more than five stars. Location is very clean, staff is kind, service is fast. They do offer take out! read more

Love this place! I don't give it a 5 star bc it's often a long lines and I don't love the table situation. But the food is great!

After having a problem with one of my orders, I let the staff know through Yelp, and they quickly reached out and gave me a refund and apologized! I really appreciated the time they took to recognize my problem and fix it immediately read more

Excellent service and coffee. One of the best macchiato ever had. We enjoyed the big 'O'

Great food but overpriced.. and the ordering process is awful.. it takes 30 minutes to actually order your food because only one person is at the register and he spends a while talking to the customers so it takes FOREVER to order.. they need to have two people at the register read more

Food is so yummy! But really, seven dollars for an iced coffee?! That's ridiculous, I know it's a "stump town" coffee that seems a little much. Food and atmosphere is awesome, it keeps us coming back often and we are happy to have you in our little neighborhood! read more

What a fantastic place! A menu that offers interesting, elevated food and organic healthy offerings! Yum! My curry chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS and Lola's has my favorite iced green tea any where! Thank you Alexis for being so quick & helpful with our order on this slammed Saturday! So many people have found this gem in Ladera and hopefully it stays around for a long time! read more

Horrible management. Yelled at new trainees. These kids were being treated like crap by the owners.

Good food, but expect a 20 min plus wait before you get your food. Not an issue if you're not in a hurry.

Ordered a tuna sandwich which was really good but not worth it. Our order consisted of one tuna sandwich and a kale/Brussel sprout salad. It look 35 minutes to bring it out. Should be noted that the salads are pre-made and all they have to do is scoop it out of a large bowl. When they finally brought me the sandwich after mentioning how long it was taking they forgot the salad. It came a few minutes later in a plastic to go container. We were excited to try this place for the first time being that's it's close to our home but this was not a good first impression. read more

Stopped in here after a day of running errands. We are new to the area so really didn't know where to stop for lunch. The Yelp reviews were good so we gave it a try. We were greeted by Matt, the owner, who was very gracious and told us about the menu. We ordered flatbread, a salad, and a delicious slice of coconut layer cake. The cafe decor is cute and the employees are very friendly. We will be back! read more

This place is so cute, the food is great, the staff is friendly, and there are lots of options for vegan/ gluten free. I don't give it a 5 star bc it's often a long wait. read more

Kids are raving about their nutella pizette, egg sandwich, french toast soufflé, and I'm happy I got a prosecco with my amazing vegan breakfast burrito. The side patio accommodates your furry friends also. I also have to say this is one of the few places that purchases their goods from vendors I would buy for my family. Eat here!!!! read more

This is a tricky one to review. On one hand, you walk in and the place is packed and has a cool earthy coffee cafe vibe. The ambiance inside and out is relatively nice, though it can get loud from the talking. If you're wanting to be around women, this place is very popular with the ladies- moms, female friends, college students, women after workouts. Last time I counted and there was dozens of women and only 2 guys. Now, I like that they have this cool looking cafe and I like their menu (some of which is gluten free), but then you get the food. My partner and I went there (I think it was on my child's birthday) and the food was burnt- gf toast burnt, tater tots burnt, etc. It was $$, so this was disappointing. The male owner is friendly but table service when it is busy can suck. We had to keep asking for them to come back and wipe off a dirty table. My urge to like it here wasn't helped by the iced coffee. It was so dark and bitter we couldn't drink it... and we love coffee. Usually, if it's coffee we will drink it! I wrote to the cafe on Facebook, hoping for a refund. They were on vacation but eventually wrote back a long apology justifying why things were burnt. I'd taken plenty of photos and anywhere else would offer you to come back for free replacement of your meal. Not them. That made me not want to go back. If they'd offered refund or redo, fine, without that... thanks for the burnt meal? I have no reason to try it again really... read more

The food was excellent. Service was great. People very friendly. Lots of healthy options. Seating is a bit challenging as when it is busy, you may have to wait for a seat. Other than that, great food. My husband and I were talking about it days after we had been there. read more

First time here, heard nothing but glowing reviews about this place. Honestly, for what you pay I was less than impressed. Avocado toast was definitely not toasted, great flavor, just soft avocado on soft bread... didn't realize until we ordered that nothing is made to order. I.E. if you want your eggs scrambled in your breakfast burrito, it's a definite no. They bake all their eggs ahead of time and just assemble as needed. The sound of the all too familiar 'Starbucks microwave/oven' ringing in the background reheating definitely was obvious read more

Delicious, fresh food ... consistently. Good variety on the menu. Love their mochas! Love supporting local mom & pop places and the owners of Lola's are always there and so friendly. You get what you pay for ... fresh , quality food in a pretty place with a hometown feel. A big shout out for their berry flatbread! So good but only on the breakfast menu ... wish I could order it all day. read more

I don't know how I'm only finding this little spot now?! We tried the cashew curry chicken sandwich which was TO DIE FOR & the coconut cake is a MUST TRY! Great customer service & great quality read more

This place is mediocre. There isn't much to complain or rave about. The ambience is nice, but when I was there there were lots of children running around (which is out of the cafe's control - but if you aren't into that just a heads up). The staff was not particularly friendly or rude, they just did their jobs on the most basic level. I would have to say the worst part of my experience here was the wait time for food. It took a really long time for a casual cafe. The food itself was just okay again. It didn't feel as "fresh" and "homemade" to me as other reviews have said. I probably won't be coming back. read more

Love this place! Love everything from the food to the staff to the ambiance to the coffee. Some of my favorites are the avocado toast, the Italian tuna sandwich (so different and delicious), and the caprese sandwich. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven't yet! read more

First time at Lola's today for lunch. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and the spiral zucchini salad. Both were awesome. You can tell that they use really fresh ingredients. Would highly recommend this place! read more

Friendly service, good food, decent prices and very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating! However as there is always room for improvement, I do hope they improve upon delivery time from order to table as a simple salad and grill cheese (although delicious) took over 20 minutes at 2:30pm (after the rush). We will definitely return but most likely if we have the time to wait as it was fresh and yummy. read more

An absolute gem! We were looking for a quiet spot to have lunch which offered an outdoor patio and was pet friendly and we found it. The staff was polite and accommodating, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was charming. We'll definitely be returning whenever we're in the area. read more

My sister-in-law and I visited this unique cafe and had a great time. The owner was very gracious and informative regarding the menu, preparation of food and history of hid cafe. I live nearby so Lola's has become my go-to-spot for delicious coffee and a on-the-go breakfast. Service is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend the Lavender latte - both hot and cold versions are delicious. I've brought several people here and all have raved over the breakfasts including the lox & capers sandwich and the egg & avocado smash sandwich. Since I'm gluten intolerant, it's nice being able to get everything on GF bread but EVEN BETTER?! Lola's Cafe receives several fresh baked loaves of authentic sough-dough bread daily - according to the manager (he might be the owner) people who are gluten intolerant find they can actually eat this bread with no problem! The staff even gave me a slice to take home and try, just in case. It was delicious and I had no issues. I now buy a loaf each week and relish being able to eat real, delicious bread. There are also delicious pastries (lots GF and Vegan options!), whole coffee beans and light snacks for sale. I'm thrilled to have Lola's nearby and while it's a little more expensive than going to, say, Starbucks, the service & quality set a much higher standard. read more
