So I have been avoiding the groomer for awhile now. I'm a nervous dog mom, and was worried of how my pup would be, and how he'd turn out. With this hot summer heat, I had no other choice but to get him groomed. My vet does it, but thank goodness they were booked.....because it lead me to LOL Grooming!! I have never felt more comfortable handing both my dogs over to someone. My chihuahua got a bath and the basic grooming stuff (too short for any cut). He came out perfect and happy. My terrier (the one that needed the groom), was the one I was nervous for. Hes never been shaved, so I was apprehensive. They assured me he was in good hands. HOLY COW!!! He looks like a brand new dog....5 lbs lighter and 5 years younger. I wish I would have done this sooner. The gals were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Booking an appointment was easy breezy. I will never use another groomer. Thank you ladies for a great experience and making this dog mommy very happy!!

James was very easy and simple to book. He called back right away after leaving a message. When I met him I instantly knew he would be kind and gentle to my dog. She is a rescue and is very timid. She is a Heeler/Shepard mix and is about 70lbs. She was comfortable with James right away. I highly recommend this business. I am local of San Bernardino and it's hard to find quality services with people who take pride in their business. Rita was so clean I didn't know her hair could be that soft. James was here when he said he would be. My 35 lb American bully took to him right away. This was my dog's first grooming experience. (I usually bathe her myself). I was a little nervous about how she would do and was expecting a call part way through, but nope. James spent about an hour and a half with her and she came back shiny and feeling like a new girl. She was zooming all around and super happy. She plays in the dirt a lot so her black coat was pretty dingy and dull before her lol spa treatment and so shiny and beautiful after. The felt so soft and smells nice. She had her teeth brushed and nails done. And no more shedding when I pet her. Their price is fair for the service rendered. Support local businesses and give this company a try. You won't regret it. We will be using them regularly now. read more

Didnt get the groomers name, but he was able to see me today, after we set on friday, since he was in the area. Showed up with his van and took my dog in for a wash. He came out like new! Im sure my dog gave him a hard time when it came to nail trimming, he hates it. If theyre willing to bathe him again, they have my business. Ill just tire him out for the next one. Also spotted an issue with my dog which im getting taking care of. Thank you! read more

This is my first time using a mobile groomer. I have 4 dogs and it's difficult trying to transport them all to the groomer. Plus I don't trust just anyone with my fur babies. I have two small fur babies and two big fur babies. Today the small fur babies were bathed and groomed. My Chihuahua had 3 curled nails digging into her pads and she is a very shy timid baby and I think the Groomer's name is Nelly she was so gentle and compassionate with both of my girls. They both came out looking and smelling beautiful . I am so very happy that I took a chance with LOL Mobile Groomer. The boys are next can't wait they are stinky boys right now but not for long . They did an Amazing job! They arrived when they said they would and didn't take a long time. This is just so much more personable. Your fur babies aren't waiting in a kennel with a bunch of other dogs waiting forever to be groomed. I am a very very happy customer read more

Since first meeting James, our two Aussies had zero hesitation going with him and jumping right into the van! We had previously taken our dogs to multiple different groomers and waited hours for them to be done, only to find them thirsty and stressed. Our experiences with LOL and James have been great. They are responsive through text and have done a really great job both times we have groomed with them so far. Our dogs come back in to the house happy, smelling amazing (which lasts for such a long time!), and looking great! We are in Redlands and definitely recommend them! read more

I contacted LOL groomers because my old dog has vertigo after a medical incident, and I didn't want to transport the dog in a car. She was able to come out the next day to groom my dog. She was on time, and cleaned up my dog relatively quickly. She did a great job giving my dog a summer shave, filling nails, and a bath. I will be using her for my dog from now on. Thanks. read more

Highly recommend this grooming service. I adopted a dog from the San Bernardino shelter and they sent him to a local vet for neutering. The dog desperately needed a bath and grooming on short notice (next day) before surgery. I contacted so many groomers and they were already booked or didn't even bother replying. LOL responded and helped me out by fitting this grooming into the schedule. This poor little guy was transformed into a good looking dog. James did an amazing job. I was not on-site, but James provided great communication and pictures. This business went above and beyond to help someone who saved a shelter dog and I am thankful for people like this. read more

I set an appointment for my dog to be groomed. First, the groomer was 30 minutes late. Secondly, when I told the groomer, James, I wanted my dog's nails trimmed because they were long in the front and when he would "shake," the nails were longer than I would like. The groomer told me, I needed to control my dog better. I had mentioned a week prior to this appointment, I gave my dog a bath because he had mud on him from playing in the back yard so I hosed him down with some soap and water to bring him inside. After James tried to talk me out of getting my dog's coat trimmed and I still wanted to go through with it, he told me since I gave him a bath a week ago he could not go through with grooming him today. Maybe that should be a question you ask your customers so they don't waste their time making an appointment. James' customer service was terrible. I asked for my dog's nails to be trimmed only to be told I need to control him better. I asked for his coat to be cut so he won't be as hot with the weather and was told several different reasons why getting him trimmed was a bad idea. James told me his skin may look different colors after being trimmed because he has different colors in his fur. Duhhhh!! It's almost like he tried to find any reason not to groom my dog today. Well lucky him because after wasting 20 minutes, I decided not to have my dog serviced by someone who didn't seem like they wanted to do it in the first place. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but I also decide on different services through reviews from others. If this is the way they handle every appointment, I would not recommend this grooming service. read more

Over priced, they rescheduled and they charged almost 3 times as much as the price they had said in the first place. it took over 4 hours for my 3 pound dog, they aren't experienced and I wouldn't trust them with my dog again. Please don't bring your pets here, very unprofessional and you can definitely find a better groomer for a better price. read more

I picked this service at random. I'm glad I did. They groomed my 5lb yorkie Bethany. I'm very particular how I like her hair cut. They followed directions perfectly. I can't get better than that!! They added a pink bow and a cute pearl necklace. You can't tell Bethany she doesn't look cute. I got all kinds of compliments in the neighborhood. I booked her almost 3-4 weeks in advanced . I even texted her the day before of the Appointment confirming the appointment and she stated " yes 1pm-2pm" one hour window. Tell me why it's 2:20pm and my dog never got groomed. I texted her around 12 something saying "please let me know when you're close by" 2 min later I got a miss call . I called back and she responded with " please text me" so I said "I'm sorry I missed your call " that was around 12:40-50ish. I never heard from her until 1 hour past our window. I texted her saying that I was upset because she not once replied back or even left a voicemail. NO COMMUNICATION ! she then texts me at 2:20pm basically blaming me that I didn't answer and she had a "hard dog" . And that she can meet later if still available and it's now a 2 hour window " I told her she's very unprofessional . And she then said " because of me the new rule is a 4hr window" like I clearly understand shit happens ...but dammm a text , another call, a voicemail SOMETHING would have been appropriate. Now my poor dog didn't get groomed and she wasted our time. My dog and I got let down. Not a nice move. read more

In 2005 - I went to school to get Certified to be a dog Groomer, this helped me get a head start knowing I wouldn't hurt the dogs while grooming. Now, 12 years later, I know exactly what the customer wants . I give my clients ample time in case the baby gets stressed. I stay calm and play music.

He definitely needed a wash, and I found Shaggy2swaggypets on a whim. Honestly, Bear gets groomed every week, and he has never been this clean from just a bath and groom. My wife immediately noticed and wants me to bring him back anytime I'm in Riverside. He's received so many compliments since his wash that I can only imagine how great they are with their other services. Casey greeted us and was incredibly hospitable. Manager and groomer both talked down and rudely in an argumentative fashion with me and kept my…read moretwo small dogs an entire 5 hours without warning me up front how long it would be and without allowing them to go potty. I was called and told one of my dogs ears was matted and they had to shave the entire ear to the skin. I told them, "no, I didn't want my dog's ears without any hair. The manager became extremely angry and argumentative. At one point I said leave the ears alone and I would do them. I received more arguing back at me. I also said then use the clippers to remove the matted part and do the best you can. I was called back rudely another time that I would have to sign a waiver about my dog's ears. I tried to pick my dogs up at the three hour mark and they had not even been trimmed properly yet and I was told if I picked up the dogs then, I would have to pay for the entire bill. I left my poor dogs there as I had an appointment. When I returned to pick them up the groomer was rude and over the top argumentative and said I was not allowed to bring my dogs back even after I apologized for any misunderstanding on my part. They continued to display such a shameful attitude and stance with me just because I declined to have the groomer use the clipper on the entire ear. What happened to kindness and the business motto "The customer is always right"? If they treat me like this is a "critical parent fashion", how do they treat my dogs??? There is no way to see how dogs are being treated around the corner as when they groom the dogs it is completely out of view. One of my dogs was literally shaking when we arrived home. The shaking lasted some time. As it was, they charged me $15 extra to comb out my dog's matted ear. Couldn't they have given me that option up front? It would have been so much more kinder and everyone could have left happy and content including my dogs!!! After arrived home for several days, my dogs cry when I pick them up from sore ribs. How horribly sad and indicates they were mishandled, too!

In all our visits, we've never experienced any rudeness or negativity quite the opposite. The staff has always been professional and welcoming. As for the cancellation fee some people mention, it's important to be realistic appointments here take hours, and that's valuable time set aside specifically for you. It's completely fair for a business to protect that time. We personally do our best not to cancel, but when something unavoidable comes up, we understand and respect their policy. My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

First off...I received a response almost immediately... It didn't feel like it's was completely a cut and paste answer... She actually took the time to offer what she can do..the haircut length and was genuinely interested and excited to meet our little tiny terror... That made me feel comfortable leaving her with them considering we have never taken her to the groomers before and my other two dogs are night and day..one loves the groomers... The other one is a poster child for the worst pup ever at a groomers. So we dropped her off.. and came back a few hours later.. only to hear how wonderful and good she was..and she looked so precious and clean and happy... Based on that alone. We would come back for sure.. The only thing I probably would say is.. it's a bit pricey. They have rewards programs and discounts. But $52 feels a bit much when we are accostomed to paying 30-40 for the other two that are 25+ lbs and she's about 5lbs ... either way.. it was worth the trip and they were amazing with her. James was always very patient and our dogs always came out exactly as instructed. If we ever had a minor issue with the way they looked he would immediately fix it. Always let us know if he nicked their dog by accident or found any issues with their ears or paws. Used his best judgment if our dogs needs to be shaved down more or not due to matting. Communicational improved as time went on. I would recommend to all family and friends. read more
