Made an appointment for my dog, it was his first time being groomed or taken to a groomer. They were on time with the appointment I had set up, and reached out to me not long after that he was ready. Picking up my dog, he smelled so fresh, his fur was extremely soft and they trimmed the areas I asked them to, perfectly! He looks so nice and groomed. Will definitely be bringing him back! I already left a review, but every time I leave Animal Kingdom, I am so happy with the results. Benji is five years old and he had his quick snipped when he was around one or two years old and since then no one has been able to successfully cut his nails. Today I had a male groomer at 8am (only spanish speaking i think) and unfortunately, I did not get his name. And he was able to cut his nails with the help of two other female staff members.. the time that they put into helping my anxious dog is so appreciated. I used to get so embarrassed, bringing my dog to the groomer because he would always have a hard time with his anxiety. Took my fur babies here today and the customer service was excellent. They were prompt, professional. My fur babies were so clean and nails trimmed perfectly. Whatever they used on their coats let it shiney and so soft. I will definitely be returning my girls for every 3 weeks grooming. I can always tell how their experience was with a groomer by how they are when I pick them up. The attending groomer was nice, professional, and gentle. We live in Jurupa Valley and past quite a few grooming services to get to AK, but it is so worth it when you and your babies can get great, professional and timely service. We brought our new rescue dog here this past weekend for her first (as far as we know) professional grooming. Shes a year and a half old pit bull mix, and was a little scared at first, but did amazing! Both our groomer Amy, and the lady at the front office were so kind, and they were both so sweet with my 2 year old daughter who was upset about leaving our dog. She came out looking so pretty with her beautiful shiny coat, and you could tell she felt much better! The pricing I found to be very reasonable, especially compared to some other places! I scheduled a grooming appointment for my two Aussies and drove over an hour from Orange County to make it on time--only to arrive and find the shop closed. I had the appointment in writing from Kyle himself: Monday, May 19th at 10 AM. I called both the Yucaipa and Colton locations--no answer, so I left voicemails. I also reached out to Kyle on Instagram, since I was told he handles scheduling, but received no response. No one was there. No notice. No follow-up. It's frustrating to plan around an appointment, invest time and gas money, and then be completely ghosted. I expected better communication and professionalism. Horrible grooming!!! My dogs looked horrible and 2 of them were actually not bathed. They put powder on them. How do I know- I was a groomer for years. They get your dog and start grooming and then message you telling you they are going to add more money to the price. I wanted mine shaved completely because I knew their hair wasn't up to par. That's the easiest thing to do as a groomer is shave the dog but no- they start shaving and send photo of partial shave and mats and that they are going to charge a lot more. They already inspected my dogs and did not tell me then. When I called them out, they told me did I want to come get my dog as is. They have done this on other occasions but this last time- was the very last time I will ever go back!!! As a former groomer- I guarantee they don't know what they're doing and I saw a few very young kids back there of which my concern- they are teaching them to groom and that's why my dogs looked horrific! And Kyle, I was coming to you from your very beginning so when I started having to deal with your extra charges, i quit coming. You can't do that to a customer because it's not right. You literally send a message that my poodle's little pom on her foot needs to be charged extra because it needed to be brushed out which by the way if it had been trimmed up and then brushed, you would have seen how soft her hair was and how easy to brush. I was never charged extras for things like that at the other place I went to that you guys kept charging me for and the only reason I wasn't at my other groomer is because they closed. The times of grooming before this last time, the dogs were shaved and then they must have been bathed but not finished up after they were clean because I had to finish grooming the extra hair that wasn't shaved off. It's not ok!!!! You call me dishonest? Really because I didn't turn my car around and insist you bathe them after I picked them up and saw how bad they were? They smelled and I felt the powder. You weren't there that day nor had I seen you the other times I took my dogs. You were always there in the beginning and I was happy with you. read more

If I can give this groomer a zero I would. Mistreatment of animals, alternating prices, do not take your fluffy companions here! I took my dog for grooming a few occasions and dog walks out ears back and tail in between legs. My dog is happy and has no issue with showering or dryers so hard to understand why my dog would walk out scared. Pricing is always alternating because he moved around a lot. That shouldn't be a factor. Prices should be fixed and not be changing because my dog moved around. Also how is it possible to leave dog early in the day and it not be ready by closing time, medium sized dog and short hair. DO NOT BRING YOU PETS HERE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! read more

We recently took our dog for a grooming. This was our 3rd visit. Sad to say that would be our last. When we drop off our dog the staff didn't seem to care or write down what we wanted. We then received a text a few hours later telling us that "They Are" going to charge us a fee for "Handling" I was thinking because our dog was maybe a little difficult to groom. I can understand a fee would be in order. But I did not Receive a phone call the least to ask us if we wanted to proceed with the grooming due to our dog/puppy being too difficult to groom. It took me 5 times to finally get a hold of someone on the phone. I expressed how we felt and it was unfair. We could have understood the fee, but we were not warned about a handling fee from the beginning. Who I spoke with did not know how to handle a phone conversation professionally. Sounded like I spoke with a 14 year old. We then received our last text message telling us our dog was ready for pick up. The moment I walked inside I can hear him cry so loud. Once he was in my arms, he was shaking and crying. It's as if our dog was swapped with another. Once I got home we noticed his private area was very red and swollen. He wouldn't stop crying. I don't know if it was the phone conversation we had and someone harmed our puppy afterwards. But our dog has not been the same since that day. read more
