The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a wagyu sirloin that had a red wine reduction, crispy onions, potato gratin and garlic green beans. We also ordered two kids trays which were priced very fair at $9 for the options and amount of food received. Our kids had the fried chicken tenders, grilled steak and picked sides of fries, mashed potatoes and fruit. The kids trays also came with drinks. Since this was a birthday celebration or server did make it special by brining a sweet treat and candle and even discounted my meal! Some things to think about when planning a visit: The restaurant is very loud. Make a reservation! It is popular. Plan parking! The area is full of great restaurants so parking is tough. Paid parking areas are available but limited.

I visited Grand Rapids for business, went here in a Tuesday afternoon and place was busy! I was sat…read moreat the bar though right away. First had an old fashioned. I thought an old fashioned was an old fashioned, but this one was delicious and available for happy hour, can't beat that! Then at the bartenders recommendation, I had the meatballs for appetizer and the hangar steak for entree. First, the meatballs, very good, I'd give it a 4/5 minimum. Portion was very respectable, meant for a shareable appetizer but it was just me lol. The ricotta is a delicious touch. Then the hangar steak. It's the best steak I can remember having in a long time, and on a relatively inexpensive cut such as a hangar. I just can't express enough how impressed I was with it. And I'm not a sauce with steak type but the aioli just completes it so well. 5/5, and I'm pretty picky. If I come back to Grand Rapids I will visit here at least once.

The Parker rolls may seem 'regular' but they do rolls WELL! They are soft with a slightly hard top (in a good way) with a fluffy and whipped butter. The steak was also delicious, although I am not a steak connoisseur so I think it was similarly good as the hanger steak from a previous experience. The ambiance is romantic and laid back with dim lights and impeccable service!

We ordered our cocktails and waited alittle while to get them. Food was overall delicious. But unfortunately my Wagyu NY strip was slightly disappointing. With six pieces of steak - only 4 were eaten. The other two were way too tough and/or fatty. Kind of unfortunate for a $63.00 steak à la carte with no sides. The sides were all delicious. And my husband loved his pasta dish. We took a key lime pie home to go. It was fantastic! The wedge salad was okay - nothing special. This place is obviously popular. And I remember it being so much better last time. I just expect more when we spend so much on our meal. Very noisy but that is the same as before. It is a popular bar spot so I expect the noise. I wish I could say more positive things about our dinner. My cocktail was pretty good! And the macaroni and cheese was pretty amazing.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. They were talking to one another, and it was probably work related, but to just stand there staring at them for a couple minutes while they ignored us was awkward. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

The team is organized, quick and very nice! Note they do sell out fast but as to be expected they have amazing food! The portion sizes are HUGE! We split the fries between a family of four (two small children, two adults) and it was perfect! There fried pickles are no joke! They are spears and you get a bunch! They also have the best sweet potatoe fries! Very crispy and seasoned well. And the main event was the smash burgers! They were still pretty thick but packed so much flavor! The patty had a nice crispy edge and those caramelized onions were amazing with the American cheese! We also had a crispy chicken sandwich what made it was the avocado spread because overall the patty was a little bland. Maybe a spicy option would be an idea! We also tried the onion rings and those were great too! Things to note for consumers: they offer ketchup packets maybe like 2 or 3 per order (we had a lot of fried food so it didn't seem enough for all we got plus we had 4 people sharing these). Because we had a ton I would have loved a ketchup pump or at least a ton more packets. As far as dipping sauces, they have an array of flavors but they charge for each one. That adds up quickly. Maybe the first one free with your sides? Sides are called "beach bites" and they are $8 each. Well priced and hefty on portions! We saw people getting the chicken bites and let me tell you those plates were literally stacked! And they looked super crispy! Burgers and sandwiches range from $10-16 depending on what you get. Lots of great options! The line was LONG!!! But they give you a beeper with a number on it once you place and pay for your order. That helps keep people from piling up in front of the window. What a great idea! The vibe of this food truck is definitely that fun beachy feel. I would recommend this food truck over and over again!
