    Teriyaki Salmon and Shrimp Combo
    Kimberly C.

Logan's has got some different things on their menu. I guess it might be seasonal so I decided to try their teriyaki salmon and grilled shrimp. I got the Caesar salad which was good but the croutons were not soggy but not crunchy either. Kinda disappointed. What is a salad without good croutons right?!? Salmon and shrimp both had amazing flavor. Loved the change. The rice however was a little hard like it hadn't been cooked long enough. Broccoli was also wonderful. We sat at a table at the bar. Our waitress was friendly and made sure our beers didn't run out. Always a plus!

Not a place I'd ever return to. The service was extremely slow, took us forever to get our food and even longer to get our bill. They forgot one of my sides at first. Which ain't a big deal, but then it turned out a 12oz medium rare signature ribeye means thinnest and driest steak I head in Texas. Pictures attached. The shrimp wasn't too bad at least. And the restarting was clean and quiet.

Management? What Management,we don't need no stinkin' Manager at Logan's!! Why? Because they have Lindsey "Baracuda" working the bar, bussing tables, and hostessing guests. She had one customer (me) at the bar and 4 tables. The ENTIRE restaurant had 8 occupied tables. When I arrived the bar needed bussing, and she immediately did it. Eight (8) TV's surrounding the bar on Sunday night: No Football on ANY!?! Really? In Texas? Happily, Barracuda came to the rescue and had one of The busboys find the game. Then she chased down my order before I ate another bucket of peanuts! Food was great, but I was starving for 1/2 lb burger. Did I want it well done? No one asked. Nice Golf-ball sized loaded baked potato cost an extra +$2 ?!? WHY? When you make Bar-raccuda the manager of this joint let me know, and might return: extra star is for her!

On the Left is what they advertise online and the right is what they sent me. Cold...old...and gross!

Logan's Roadhouse in Abilene Texas is now serving Italian food just as delivery food. With the name "Leo's Italian Kitchen"! Extremely NOT as advertised food! I thought I would give it a go and the provided pics show what the advertised food item looked like and what they actually send you. Horrible last ditch effort on Logan's part to try and stay in business.

    Mushrooms

We tried out Logan's last night for the first time since they reopened. I was so hesitant about going, but pleasantly surprised. The parking lot was full and people obviously parking in the church lot to go in. We figured it would be a really long wait, but pleasantly surprised we were seated right away. Myself, husband, 3 year old and infant. We sat down and immediately greeted by waitress. The first thing I realized was she gave my 3 year old attention and the opportunity to order her drink without being rushed. That's big to us. Most of the time staff are super annoyed by little kids, but reality is parents want to go eat out sometimes too. I'd rather pay 25% tip knowing she will drop a few pieces of corn or lettuce and not be treated ugly. The mushrooms were different. I didn't personally care for the batter. I perfer them to have a little crunch and there wasn't. The horseradish sauce and ranch that came with it was great. My husband had a 12 ounce ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. He was shocked that the steak was correctly cooked. He said the potatoes were good but the macaroni was just basic. I had the 12 oz ribeye with baked potato and salad. The salad was great. It was full of lettuce cheese cucumbers tomatoes and great ranch. Baked potato a small, but perfectly cooked and my steak was super tender and cooked medium. I will admit that I am a steak snob. There was a fire grill marks but there was really no seer to the steaks. Again, I am a steak snob. They had great flavor and were tender. Even my three-year-old liked it. My three-year-old had a mini cheeseburger with corn's menu and it came out correct and she enjoyed it. I didn't think about getting pictures until we had already dug into everything. me personally if I could change anything it would be the better on the mushrooms and putting in the order for the appetizer prior to the meal. Because they came out within two minutes of each other. I asked my husband how the weight staff would even make money because there were so many. On our side alone we saw over 9. I just remember as a kid in college being cut down to two or three tables and a major's restaurant was terrible on Somedays, but I totally get they want to make Sure each table is taken care of. Great job Khloe, our waitress. We appreciate you treating our daughter with respect and taking care of us! Waitress Food

Too slow for pick up been wait 4 hours for 2 dozen rolls and burger is ready but soggy. No worth it.

Casual. We sat at the bar and our bartender was amazing! He was funny and attentive despite being very busy! Service: The restaurant was so busy with diners even at 8:30 PM on a Saturday evening. I did not expect it to be this busy in my head. My husband and I sat at the bar since that was open seating and there were no sit down tables available inside or on the patio. The restaurant will add you to the waitlist if you'd like! Food: My husband and I shared the deviled eggs appetizer, and "the burger" with grilled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. The deviled wggs (satan's huevos) were good, and spicy because we chose the "hellfire" option. The burger was huge! I'm glad my husband I split it because there was no way I'd finish that burger on my own! We both left content and not stuffed.

We looked at the menu online prior to coming and knew that we both wanted to try the cheese steak, so this was a bit of a bummer. They waitress who was very attentive told us that we can't order from the full menu for another 30 minutes so we decided to wait rather than leave. Listen, I get it the idea of having a different menu for brunch, but why not post it on your website and state the specific times for each menu? Also, what difference does 30 minutes make? They couldn't fire up the grill 30 minutes early? It wasn't very busy. Anyways, now for the good part: When we were finally allowed to order our sandwiches they were absolutely amazing. The steak was high quality and the gooey cheese had a ton of flavor. What wasn't amazing however was the bill. $20 for a sandwich and a small portion of fries in Abilene is absolute insanity. What's even crazier is we were charged extra for a side of ranch! I understand you get what you pay for, and there's no arguing the quality of the sandwich was top notch, but at the end of the day it's still just a sandwich. If you're good with dropping nearly $60 (including tip) on lunch, then this is your spot. For me, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I've seen more than a few places of this sort, most notably the Fuddrucker's chain in Houston. A predominantly burger menu with other options, sides, milkshakes, desserts, etc. where you order your meal at a counter, fill up your drink at a station, and sit at big wooden tables, and run your little buzzer back to pick up your food. They have a great vibe that really seems to fit the area, and it looked like there was a playground area where families could bring their kids for a good time. Prices are a bit higher than I'd like-- it cost me almost $18 for a burger, a side, and a drink-- but it was still worth a visit. The only reason that I didn't give them the full five stars is that the service was a bit slow. I was waiting surprisingly long for a burger considering how fast some other orders came out, and it took a while to track someone down to get a to go box for my leftover side.

I ordered the onion rings, the whole reason I came here, and they were made just like my favorite hotdog spot back home in NY. There are so many burgers to choose from, and I'll 100% be back to try the mushroom Swiss next. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our trays were picked up right away to give us more space, and someone was cleaning tables quickly after other guests finished their meals. Everything felt clean and well taken care of. I'm really glad I finally came here and I'll definitely be back.

Located on the second story of a beautiful building in downtown Abilene sits Grain Theory, a brewpub and coffee shop towering over the city. It is a mixed indoor-outdoor space with plenty of shaded outdoor and cooled indoor seating. Looking at their tap list, my girlfriend and I were impressed by their unique beers to try. I started with the Strawberry Peach Tonic (Fruited Hard Seltzer) and she had a Bella Rose (Rosé IPA). Both were served in cool glasses, with mine being tall and skinny and hers being almost like a wine glass. Shocking to nobody, mine was quite fruity while her Rosé IPA was hoppy with an underlying rosé flavor. Next, I ordered their Oktoberfest (German Märzen) and she had their Season's End (Belgian Dubbel). She described her drink as tasting like a Biscoff cookie. My Oktoberfest was quite malty, and I was a big fan. To close, we both ordered their Luscent (Belgian Table Beer) because small beers are back in fashion and I wanted to try it. It was obviously very light but still had a good flavor that was very bready. Nice and easy to close out our drinks with. They also have food and coffee that we didn't try, but the food looked sensational from what we saw others eating. They also have plenty of board games and card games to play while you're at the brewery and many beers available to take to-go. My only minor complaint is the lack of TVs in the brewery. Maybe it's a purposeful decision, but Texas Tech was playing football, and it would be a great place to watch the game. The bartenders are very friendly and willing to let you try and sample as many beers as you need to make your decision. Grain Theory feels like the kind of place every small Texas city wishes it had. I am very excited to come back here and try more beers, especially with how excellent the space is. RIYL: Cool-shaped beer glasses or a rooftop bar
