I was assured that I would not lose enough breast tissue for anyone to notice. I kept getting told i was getting a lift. Not a reduction. I secured financial responsibility and had all my visits to prepare for my surgery. On August 30th i went under the knife. Dr Steven Robinson didnt even have the decency to go and talk to my husband who was waiting for me. He called him. Very Unprofessional in my opinion. We had just spent $12,000. It would have been money well spent had he done his job and did it good. 20+ years "Dr" Robinson had been cutting into people and somehow I was the one that got butchered. My incisions were deep, crooked, he overlapped causing a crease in my skin under my arms and my left breast incision had been coming open and infected. I had to buy butterfly bandages to pull incision back together and that didn't even work. Not to mention I literally bled from my incisions for weeks. I went into surgery a DDD and came out a D....but I "didnt" get a reduction. I became very self conscious and didn't leave the house for 6 months. I had always been a big chested girl until Robinson cut into me. I had spoke to the office manager about getting some money back as all I had gotten out of this was a botched surgery and scars that will last a lifetime. (Not a lift) One of my scars (now that it's been almost 2 years) is literally 1.5" wide. I wanted a lift to feel sexy and now I'm scarred for life. I dont feel sexy i feel ugly and damaged. I couldn't wait any longer so I went to The Plastic Surgery Institue in Dayton where I got 440 cc's implants put in just to get back to a DDD. How did I get that big of implants if he didnt remove any tissue? After going back and forth with the office they refused to pay me anything. I even told the office manager about my implants. I asked how did I have to get that big of implants to get back to my size before surgery if he hadnt removed tissue. She didnt have any answer. I highly recommend you NOT have Robinson do anything for you. He obviously needs to retire! **I tried to post some pics but for some reason its not working.

My results could not be any better! I laugh now because looking back, pre-surgery, I was so afraid of altering my body and never being able to "go back" if it didn't turn out for the better, but it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I don't know why people would say it's a money-hungry office because it really is great work, great service, and great pre-surgery and post follow-up monitoring/discussions (you wouldn't trust or want a medical procedure from a place called Clearance Surgery would you?). I believe that you get what you pay for, and he's not just a cosmetic specialist who performs procedures only half-knowing what he's doing, he's a real MD, which not many cosmetic specialists can say. The staff is personable, gets to know you, and always makes sure you're informed and feel good about any questions or concerns you may have -- they're not people who just try to talk you into something. They are there on the phone or in-person pre- and post-surgery whenever you have the smallest or biggest of questions. Dr. Mandell-Brown met with me multiple times before the actual surgery discussing what would be the best, most healthy, and "natural" choice for my body type and what I was looking for. I live in an area with tons of cosmetic surgeon options, but flew cross country just for Dr. Donath's work. I chose Dr. Donath for several reasons. - office staff communication made me feel like they had total transparency. (The first impression was correct, every person on his staff did their job with excellence - front office, post-op nurse, billing, etc) - He guarantees his work. I had multiple eyelid surgeries and one fat transfer surgery prior to finding him. My history was that after healing, things shift and my body in particular resorbed my previous fat transfer rather quickly. - Fair pricing. - Bed-side manner, scientific/artistic eye saw everything I wanted to fix, understood me completely. I have had about 6 different surgeons for various cosmetic procedures due to my birth defects, and I am the most confident with Dr. Donath. I had a sort of difficult case. I needed fat put into my upper eyelid crease as well as in the lower supporting eyelid one side, because I have assymetry due to birth defect. This is a very delicate area to have work done, and I was right to give him my implicit trust. I look as close to symmetrical as I have in my entire life. I also had fat placed in my upper cheeks because I was looking prematurely aged and tired, and man- his work looks so natural now!
