I have been a patient at this practice since 2019 and cannot give enough praise for Dr. Martin and his staff. Trust is something that must be earned, especially when thinking of cosmetic procedures and services. From my first visit, this relationship started to evolve and my nerves put at ease. As time passes, I only become more impressed and extremely happy with every visit. To start, Dr. Martin has done wonders for me after my weight loss years ago! Luckily my interactions with him lead me to get to know the rest of that staff, especially Stefani, BSN, RN. Stefani has earned my complete trust, from the way that she listens to my concerns/questions, to the way she offers the most thoughtful, gentle procedures. I have always said that I'd like to only enhance whereas everything looks natural, as well as 'would my mom notice?' :0). Stefani has delivered time and time again... My lips look naturally full and my face has less signs of aging and more importantly... I love it! I would be remiss if I did not mention the reset of the staff, as they too have been nothing short of amazing. Victoria, NP, is the best, provides amazing support to the doctor, as well as quick to see you if there are any concerns/questions. Jessica provides the best facials and skincare routines, coupled with her gentle and knowledgeable demeanor. Charlee and Toni are very sweet and helpful when scheduling, which sets the tone for what can be nervous procedures. The rest of the staff at this lovely practice is very friendly and knowledgeable. Warning Do not go here!! Pls ladies. I can not stress this enough. Iam horrified. Iam completely botched after getting surgery done by doctor kurtis martin. I paid for a reverse tummy tuck and he didn't do that at all!! Instead he botched my boobs all up and pinned my boobs down to my stomach. I look crazy and now have to spend 12k to get his mistake fixed. I have scars everywhere and I'm completely deformed can't even enjoy my body. Then he is very arrogant and brushes everything off like it's not that serious. If I wasn't so embarrassed I would post pics but I don't want anyone to see my body. Warning: Unfortunate Experience with Dr. Kurtis Martin, Cincinnati Plastic Surgery I recently underwent a breast lift/augmentation procedure performed by Dr. Kurtis Martin at Cincinnati Plastic Surgery in September of 2022. Unfortunately, my experience with this physician was extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise against seeking his services. First and foremost, I was left utterly unprepared for the recovery process as I received no aftercare instructions following the surgery. I reached out to the surgical nurse, Brandi, as instructed, expecting guidance and support. However, she provided very little assistance and suggested I rely on YouTube for instructions. This was both unprofessional and disheartening, leaving me feeling lost and neglected during a crucial stage of recovery. Moreover, I am deeply dissatisfied with the outcome of the breast lift. Despite undergoing the procedure, the lifting effect was minimal, nowhere close to the desired result. The surgical recovery process and the scars I now possess were simply not worth the inadequate outcome. Adding to my frustration, I made an effort to address my dissatisfaction with Dr. Martin himself by requesting a refund. Unfortunately, I received no response or acknowledgment of my concerns, which further demonstrates a lack of professionalism and empathy for his patients. In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Kurtis Martin at Cincinnati Plastic Surgery was nothing short of regrettable. The absence of aftercare instructions, poor assistance from the surgical nurse, unsatisfactory results, and a complete lack of response from the physician when requesting a refund, all serve as stark warnings to potential clients. I've been thinking about if I wanted to make this post for months. Had someone else made it, I would have been grateful, and saved myself a lot of money and possibly my health. I had 3 surgeries done by Dr Martin at the very first of the year. Face lift. Eye lift. Arm left. They tell you if anything needs to be corrected after your healing period, you'll have to pay for the office time and equipment. Well guess what...I had to have all 3 corrected. Cost me a fortune. My eyes no longer match. I have wrinkles on the side of one eye from how they pulled the skin and stitched it. (Weren't there prior to the face lift) I went back to have that eye and the pulled skin corrected. Nothing changed after the second surgery. But I still had to pay for it. Still have new wrinkles. And this is after one of the surgeries being a face lift! My eye is still not the same size as the other, and I have those new wrinkles from how they stitched the facelift. Honestly, as soon as I got home and looked at my face, I knew they screwed it up. He's always too busy chatting with his young ladies he hires for his assistants, instead of paying 100% attention to what he's doing. OR he has different assistants that do one side while he does the other. So of course one side looks different than the other, because it was two different people working on each side. Here's the worst part (which I can't prove, but I'll explain why) when I had to go back to get my eyelid redone, it got infected and I had to go on antibiotics. 2 weeks later my daughters had to rush me to the hospital. I had 103° fever, and basically unconscious when my daughters found me. I was in the hospital for 2 months fighting for my life from sepsis. I almost didn't live. My body shut down. I have no memory of 2 months of my life, and I'm still dealing with health issues from the sepsis. I had a follow up appointment with Dr Martin once I was well enough for my 40 year old son to take me. All the doctor was concerned about is if they knew what caused the sepsis. No! They didn't know, because I had been basically unconscious for a couple of days before my daughters got to me. Once they rushed me to the ER, they had to put a pic line under my arm going to my heart, and start pumping me full of meds. That masked anyway of finding out where the sepsis came from. So again, they couldn't say if it came from the eye infection. But I had no open wounds. No other health issues. Just an infection in my eye lid. I'm not saying it was caused by Dr Martin. The eye infection was the only thing I had though. The infectious disease doctors said it was too hard to pin point, due to having to pump me full of life saving meds. It's depressing that I have no memory of any of it. When I told Dr Martin that they couldn't determine where it came from, he said "thank god". When my son and I left, my son said "Mom, sounds like he was more concerned about them pinpointing where the sepsis came from, than rechecking your eye". My eye still isn't correct, and they were going to charge me more $ to correct it. No thank you! I already spent over $20,000 for the original surgeries, not to mention the over $500+ for each surgery to fix things. (At least 3 surgeries. May have been 4) How does that work? Why do I have to pay for things you didn't get right the first time?? The front desk help is rude on top of that. Especially the one that makes the appointments. She acts like she owns the place. No respect from them! But he seems to like to keep the young girls around. I remember going to him 20 years ago. His business was classy then. He had middle age to a little older women working for him, so they could relate to what you were going through. PLUS, if something needed to be repaired, he fixed it without charge!! I definitely wouldn't recommend going to him. Sorry Dr Martin. You've been a huge disappointment this past year. You're staff is terrible. And charging people more, for things you didn't get right the first time is on YOU. Not the patient. If you felt you couldn't do the job right the first time, you should send the patient on their way so they can find someone who can. Don't tell me AFTER the surgeries "well it's because your skin is so thin". No kidding! That's how a lot of women's skin is at 68. I'm so very sad in how much money you cost me with these 3 surgeries. For my eye to not match the other anymore, & to have permanent wrinkles where they weren't prior to surgery is 100% unacceptable. My first surgery, the face, I had no instructions what so ever. Brandi was supposed to go over it with me the morning of surgery. Well she was a no show that day. BTW Brandi was fired. Go back to hiring people that can relate to your patients. Not young ladies that are maybe in their 30's, and treat your older patients disrespectfully. I would seriously research research research your doctor before letting them touch your face/body. I wish I had researched. :-( read more

I live in New York City and came home to Cincinnati for the holidays. I've been wanting under-eye filler for quite sometime and was needing to refresh my botox. I knew there would be potentially be bruising with under eye fillers so I figured doing it back home when I had downtime would be ideal. I did a lot of research and found Dr. Kurtis Martin's practice. The reviews were great and the pictures on the website of patient's results were exactly what I was looking for. I made my appointment and literally went from Dayton airport to the office. (Shout our to my mom for taking me) Now onto the procedure... The injector was Kimberly who is AMAZING! She took the time to walk me through everything, calm my nerves, and make sure I was comfortable. The entire procedure was painless. I literally just laid back and closed my eyes. We chatted throughout the entire procedure that's how easy it was! I could not have asked for a better experience. You know it's been since 2018 I've been trying to get over this but I can't hold it in anymore...I got a nose job done here and I've been upset about it since day one....he did things to my nose we didn't discuss.. One thing he did was extend my nose out further, it was supposed to stretch out the thick skin that I had on top of my nose. That is something we did not discuss. I asked him prior to my surgery if the skin on my nose was thick and if this would affect my results and he told me no then after the surgery he told me the top of my skin was thick and that he needed to extend the length of my nose to make the skin not as bulky on top. Keep in mind I have all recordings of my sessions with him before the surgery.... After everything was said and done the top of my skin did not change and he made my nose look longer so the bulk on top looks bigger than what it was supposed to before my nose job I am highly upset.... They always say give it a couple years to make sure all the swelling goes down but I've waited long enough... He's thrown me to the side pretty much didn't call me back after I told him that I probably wanted another surgery done to fix the skin on top... I'm sure he's good at other work but do not get any type of face reconstruction done by him.... I'm highly upset.... I'm definitely going to another doctor to get a second opinion.... I'm sad that I waste it 6 grand on getting this done.... Please always get second opinions when you're looking for a surgeon. Because he pretty much lied to my face saying that my results were going to be a drastic change, yeah for the worst.... I just wish you would have been honest with me saying that the changes weren't going to be the way that I thought they were going to be the way he explained them to me. I have been coming to see the nurse injector at this office (Ashley) for about 7 months for Botox and Lip filler. She's really sweet, light handed and does a great job. I like coming here because they seem like a family and everyone is super nice! My Injections are always noticeable but never too much, and people always seem to notice that I look younger but never seem to notice that I had "work" done. I had lipo on my neck about a year ago, follow up appointment 3 months later, he told me wait 6 months for ur skin to tighten. 6 months came up, went in for my follow up appointment, he told me wait 9 months again for the skin to tighten. Just went in for my one year follow up appointment and was not happy with my results. He told me "I can get you a nice chiseled jaw line, you will look great." My neck WAS NOT chiseled. It MAYBE had a 20% improvement. He kept telling me you have a big neck, you have a big neck. He was NOT sympathetic at all that I was un happy. Did not offer to fix it (which he had told me if I didn't like something he would fix). Absolutely a waste of money. I work in the beauty industry and have women CONSTANTLY asking about plastic surgery and where I go and what I recommend. Dr. Martin is a waste of money and time. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYBODY OR WILL I EVER RETURN. I am SO disappointed in him. read more
