After years of considering breast augmentation and research, weighing the pros and cons of which style procedure would be best for me and who would be the best doctor to perform the surgery (ie: trustworthy, quality of work, etc.), I am beyond happy I chose Dr. Mandell-Brown. My results could not be any better! I laugh now because looking back, pre-surgery, I was so afraid of altering my body and never being able to "go back" if it didn't turn out for the better, but it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I don't know why people would say it's a money-hungry office because it really is great work, great service, and great pre-surgery and post follow-up monitoring/discussions (you wouldn't trust or want a medical procedure from a place called Clearance Surgery would you?). I believe that you get what you pay for, and he's not just a cosmetic specialist who performs procedures only half-knowing what he's doing, he's a real MD, which not many cosmetic specialists can say. The staff is personable, gets to know you, and always makes sure you're informed and feel good about any questions or concerns you may have -- they're not people who just try to talk you into something. They are there on the phone or in-person pre- and post-surgery whenever you have the smallest or biggest of questions. Dr. Mandell-Brown met with me multiple times before the actual surgery discussing what would be the best, most healthy, and "natural" choice for my body type and what I was looking for. He even gives you "homework" so you know what you're going through and so he knows what you're looking to achieve -- by the time surgery day arrives, he knows what's right for you and what you're comfortable with and you both have the same vision. The post-surgery service is beyond great. He saw me the next day, following weeks, and every few months after my surgery to keep tabs on and monitor the work. What was really nice was that he and the assistants present on surgery day call you in the morning, afternoon, and night in the days following the surgery to check in on you and see how you're doing. I just had my one year appointment yesterday and he was just as helpful and informative as the day I walked in, and they scheduled another appointment for the future to continue that monitoring. I paid 14k for a lift and implant, I asked for under the muscle and was told it was put under the muscle but was told by a medical professional it was over. I was given what I specifically said I did not want and then was blamed and told my 24 year old skin was "too stretchy" and that's why they look the same. I got my surgery March of 2022. I wanted a breast reduction lift and lipo to my flanks and injected into my hips. I previously had implants I had 450cc which brought me to a 34DDD, I told Dr Mandell t to go down to a small DD mainly because of back pain. After my surgery I was obviously swollen but they really didn't look much smaller. He switched my implants from 450cc to 350cc, after my 3 month follow-up, they still wasn't smaller and so he said come back in a few more months and see what they look like. I go back 6 months after my surgery and I am still fitting into the same bra's I had before my surgery which are 34DDD's. I explain to him the frustration. About still being a large DDD when I asked for DD then he informed me that he SHOULDN'T have put in a new implant and just took out my implants and used a mess for the tissue. I was upset, frustrated, and mad I spent over $15,000 on breast i already had! the only thing his was relocated my nipples and did liposuction and a fat transfer to my hips, which might noticeably uneven, and when I pointed out to him, he says it's my "structure", and when it came for him, fixing my boobs, I would have to pay for it because I took my professional doctors advice and his professional opinion, and he did something that I did not want. He suggested me getting a smaller implant if I knew I could get smaller boobs without getting an implant like he made it seem and like he offered I would've just done that route. I want nice perky DD breast and that's not what I got! BUT NO I TRUSTED MY DOCTOR! I recently moved to Cincinnati from Los Angeles and I had a really hard time finding someone to do fillers the way that their done in LA (plastic city). Very disappointed. Went 3 sizes over what I wanted. During many consultations he stated that he would guarantee I love them or he'd fix them. The thing he didn't mention was that I'd be charged the anesthesia fee of $3,500 to do it. When I complained and stated my point that I didn't get the size that I wanted I was dismissed. Dr. Mandell-Brown and his staff really are the best in Cincinnati. After my consultation, I knew he'd be the one to do my breast augmentation. The entire staff was thorough, honest, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I've wanted to get this surgery done for the better part of the last decade and I am so so happy I did and chose Dr. Mandell-Brown. I'm only 4 weeks post-op and I have healed so quickly. Great doctor!!! My wife took me to dr Mandell brown with her . My wife told dr Mandell brown how I sweat A LOT because I work outside . I got Botox out in my arm pits for the sweating to stop. I also ended up getting bro-tox (Botox for men) and it looks great. Dr MMB made it look natural and it didn't hurt at all. It lasted about 3 months. I was afraid to have the Botox put in my face but it looks so good. My wife is planning on going to dr MMB for her breast implants and a Tummy tuck. Okay, I bought a groupon for microdermabrasion and a Vpeel for the cost of $65. Great price and I was excited to have the services done here as I haven't been to this spa before and like to experience different skincare salons. I have had these services done many times before and am used to the procedures, no surprises. Well at the end of the peel the esthetician tells me she is sending me home with the aftercare kit which I will use for a week to 10 days. Okay, this ain't my first rodeo...this is typical procedure. Then she informs me the aftercare kit will be an additional $125. Say what!!! Aftercare is part of the procedure itself and I have never been charged for the aftercare products anywhere else. Fortunately, I have extra product at home from past Vpeels. I did not purchase this aftercare package which I can only assume included the activating solutions to be used the first 2 nights after the peel. I have been taken and will be calling Groupon later today...won't be back. read more

My second appointment with Mera was as great as the first. The staff that greeted me before my appointment were very kind and attentive. Thinking back to my last facial years ago, I thought I would be in for about 15minutes then out the door. Much to my surprise, it took about an hour of concentrated care and use of products that I now have a few of at home.Not one time was I pressured into buying any product with the office. I had breast augmentation on December 2nd 2011 performed by Dr. Mandell Brown. During the consultation I discovered that I had tubular breast deformity. When a patient has tubular breast they need to make sure the do lots and lot's of research prior to choosing a doctor that is going to perform breast augmentation. The surgery sometimes also requires a breast lift in my case I didn't have to receive a lift. Mandell Brown created a new socket under my breast for the implants to lay. When a patient has tubular breast you as the patient have an increase risk for a double bubble which is just the appearance of the original crease under the breast and the appearance of the new crease under the breast in which the doctor created so the tubular appearance would no longer be noticeable. Dr. Mandel Brown worked on my original crease long and hard during surgery and now I am happy to say that I ended up not have a double bubble. Now think about it... How many doctors would take much more time in surgery to make sure that I didn't end up with the double bubble. He didn't get paid anymore for taking more time on me to achieve the look I wanted. I'm sure working on me an extra 45 min trying to get rid of the original crease also cost him more money on sedating me longer but again not an extra charge to me. Dr. Mandel brown i would recommend to anyone. He truly cares about his work. He is a triple board certified surgeon. If you have already chosen a doctor to perform cosmetic surgery I would at least advise you to contact him for a consultation. Many patient are refereed to him to fix another doctor mess up. Many doctors are not board certified so do your homework. Its legal for doctors that don't specialize in cosmetic surgery to be able to perform cosmetic surgery on patients without much knowledge. Watch out for free consultation. No doctor that went to school for many years will give away an hour of his time for free to every patient interested without getting paid. Dr Mandell Brown took me from a 34 AA tubular breast to a 34 D round and natural looking breast. ( 500 CC Silicone Mentor High Implant) His incision is really tiny and healed amazing. I'm very happy with the results I have received. He is an amazing doctor. Highly advise at the min a consultation with him. His staff is so considerate and warm.
