I need to back up and say I was very bothered by the fact that our consultation was being recorded without my consent, as far as I recall. I didn't authorize it, but I also didn't get a choice. The woman looked at my belly, told me I should get my hernia (I've never been told I had one in all of my doctor visits over the years), and to cut back on the carbs (pasta and beer), sugar (wine), and increase my exercise. He spent 3 minutes looking at my veins and wrote a prescription for compression hose. After I told him that they give me terrible leg cramps and I did not find them useful. The staff was rude when I set the appointment and I should have trusted my instinct and made an appointment elsewhere. When I called to find out why I was billed and that I had been mislead by the website saying free consultation, I was told they would take my concerns "higher up". But they never returned my call.
