I came in today for the free consultation. My purpose was to gather information and discuss it later with my husband, who was with me for the consultation. I'm not sure, at this point, if I'm appreciative or insulted by the brief visit. The woman that we were talking with was speaking rather fast, which got me concerned. I need to back up and say I was very bothered by the fact that our consultation was being recorded without my consent, as far as I recall. I didn't authorize it, but I also didn't get a choice. The woman looked at my belly, told me I should get my hernia (I've never been told I had one in all of my doctor visits over the years), and to cut back on the carbs (pasta and beer), sugar (wine), and increase my exercise. Yeah, you're not my doctor. I didn't ask you for that advice. She told me they wouldn't be able to help me and sent me on my way. I don't know whether to be happy or pissed at her. read more

Omg, I just had the best consultation at Sono Bello! I've watched the commercials and when I saw the ad on Facebook, I decided to take a chance and see what they could do for me. The location was a bit tricky (my GPS had me turn right instead of left) so I called them and she told me to go OVER the bridge AWAY from the mall!! Parking is free in the underground parking garage. The salon is on the 4th floor and with financing available, if you don't have the money right now, there's no excuse for not getting a little help to look and feel your best! I just got home from my consultation, that never took place. At 7:45 this morning, I got a text reminder of my 10:30 am appointment. It also asked that I arrive 15 min. early. When I arrived, I checked in & was given a few forms to complete. A few minutes after I returned the forms, I got a text, supposedly from the consultant I was supposed to meet with. It was now 11 am and she said she was still in with a client & there was another client ahead of me! How do you get that far behind when you open at 9 am and the consultations take 45 min-1 hr? Obviously over-booked. She offered to "add an extra discount to accommodate for the wait time." I went to the desk & was told that yes, it would be an additional hour or so before I got in to see the consultant. I explained that I had other appointments today & could not stay. At this point the Office Manager stepped over & asked if I wanted to re-schedule a video consultation. I told her that I did not and she just nodded her head & stared at me. I told her this was unacceptable & unprofessional and I left. So rude to waste someone's time like that! I had a 45 minute drive to get there & another 45 min. to get home on a day I took off from work. What a waste. I will not be back. read more

There is some discomfort however I knew what to expect as everything was explained thoroughly . I can't wait to see my results in a couple of months . It's taken me a year to finally post this review. My most important comment is DON'T DO IT! I came to Cincinnati to attend my sister's retirement party. I wanted to look good. Sono Bello advertises transformation in one day, and that was reaffirmed in my initial consultation. I was told I would only be sore. First, they rushed me through the procedure. The anesthesia did not take effect until AFTER the procedure. They told me some people even sleep through it. Maybe that's true if they wait for the anesthesia to work, but I find that really hard to believe. It was very painful. I felt everything and actually cried. I was in pain for at least 6 months. They definitely did something wrong. I had the upper and lower tummy procedure. The lower worked fairly well and the pain was much less. The upper, however, was so painful, it made me feel sick. It was hard as a rock and still is and is not flat. I was in bed for a week after the surgery. It was worse than when the anesthesia wore off in the middle of my c-section, and that wasn't pretty. If you go, make sure they tell you the truth. Make sure they wait for the anesthesia to take effect. And I hope you don't mind throwing your money away and suffering. I am still depressed and feel stupid for doing such a thing without further research. read more

I had my free consultation last week. I was so excited to see online that the prices started at $1400. What a joke! Once they get you there you will find out that there are a ton of additional fees. Then they are very high pressure to get you to commit and pay almost $2000 on the spot. When I said that I needed to talk it over with my husband they dared to suggest that I was there secretly and hadn't told him I was coming for a consultation. There is no way I would go there given the way I was treated! Price compare with other local doctors and you'll see that they are overpriced! read more

Unfortunately I never got past the waiting room. My appointment was for 10:15 am. I sat there until 11:50 waiting, then finally asked what was going on. They simply said sorry for the wait and that it would be at least another 15 minutes. It was then that I found out they were down a counselor. All the time I waited no one offered me a bottle of water or even an explanation. They did have me complete a mountain of paperwork with personal information on health. Mind you at that point I hadn't even met with anyone to know if I even wanted a procedure or if I could afford it. When I heard 15 more minutes I I couldn't wait as I had to work. A had taken a half day off and the time was wasted. This is terrible service with no consideration of a client's time. I will not be going back. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Sonobello! Starting with the consultation and ending with the procedures, all great. There was no hard sell to try to get me to get anything done I didn't want to during the consultation. Dr. Dawson did a wonderful job with my procedures. Sonobello is pure scam! First three months showed results then it was all back by 6 months. They would not acknowledge it and instead blamed me for not following procedures. They tried to make it up by giving me these ridiculous hot belly treatments that did absolutely nothing. And what ever you do don't move because they are all individual franchises and don't support each other. They actually told me I had to drive back to Cincinnati from Chicago to see my original doctor to let him know I was having issues. I did and he did nothing. They do not stand behind their product no matter what thy say. Even at three months when I was showing positive results my sides were uneven and they wouldn't acknowledge it. They would do noting to correct it. Now I have a lump on my right side where they unevenly removed the fat. My experience with Sono Bello Cincinnati is somewhat multifaceted. But in the longrun I am thrilled with my results. There is a bit of high pressure sales pitch taking place but I expected that when I walked through the door, so one must be aware of that going in. For the most part I do think that my consultant wanted for me what I wanted for myself. There also seems to be a high turnover with employees that can lead to a tad of concern but the space is clean and orderly and never did I have concern for my health. I had these areas done: upper and lower abs, back bra roll, hips. When the six month after surgery check up came about I was unhappy with the final results. Some of my belly vanished and nothing changed with my bra roll or hips. I wanted a redo and without much ado I was given one without additional cost. I was even given a new undergarment without cost. The doctor who is no longer there, was not a warm and fuzzy type but thats ok. I don't have to be BFF's with my doctor as long as she is hearing what I say and knows how to treat me correctly. It was an inconvenience to go through again but I am THRILLED with the final results!! I really don't understand why it wasn't done in the first place. For my 57 years on this planet I have ALWAYS had a large belly. I got really skinny (size 4 & 6) several years ago, but i still had a tummy. No diet or exercise could trim that down. I am also a Weight Watcher. Between WW's and Sono Bello I finally have the flat tummy that I so desired my entire life! I am a size 8 now, and though I've been thinner I've never looked so good or have FELT better! I need not diet anymore! I just need to maintain and that feels so wonderful and unbelievably freeing. I NOW FEEL (AND LOOK) AMAZING!! Over 20 years ago, right after my marriage, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Before my diagnosis, I weighed about 100 pounds and wore a size 0. The staff and doctors at Sono Bello are amazing. I was referred there by a friend who had a procedure done. I had 3 appointments before my surgery and every question I had was answered honestly. I was never told it was pain free, they told me what to expect as far as pain and discomfort. I was very comfortable throughout most of my procedure, and when I wasn't, the doc would stop and make sure i was ok, where the discomfort was and make sure I was comfortable to begin again. There was some pain with the procedure, and after hearing how they do it, I had no delusions that there wouldn't be. My recovery has been way better than I expected. 3 days after my procedure I was able to take a slow walk around the block, take my daughter to a movie, and generally was back to normal beside being a little slower and having some bruising and swelling that gets better each day. If you are looking for an alternative to general anesthesia and a hospital stay, I would recommend Sono Bello for sure! read more
