Not great selection of items. Signs indicated they had a "up to 60% off sale" going on at the time. Items on sale were the bottom of the barrel, super small and huge sizes and stuff you could tell no one really wanted. Look out factory store. 2 or 3 styles of skirts, 2 different dresses and not very many different accessories. Check out a different Ann Taylor Loft if you can. read more

I went to the Loft at Huntington Beach and made a purchase of $378.73 with my Loft credit card to get the Loft points/benefits. I then paid that amount by check in person that same day. When my credit card statement came I was surprised to see I owed $378.73. Upon investigation I saw that the check I paid in person to my local store was credited to an old account. I contacted Loft and they finally credited my payment to the correct account. However they still are charging the same amount plus late fees and interest for a total of $411.95 to my old account. I asked how this will affect my credit and they say I have to take it up with the credit bureaus and "..there is nothing they can do for me right now while this is pending". Customer care did send me a $20 gift card, which was nice but that will not even begin to pay for the damage to my credit or the time this is taking to resolve. I'm in contact with Loft credit card company but as Loft billed an old, seemingly inactive account, my options may be limited. I believe Loft created the problem and they should be willing and able to correct it. Thoroughly disappointed they are not. read more

This is my go to store and I love it! Easy to find layout and great employees who always make me feel welcome.

I was next door getting a few pieces of jewelry cleaned, minding my own business --- until I saw a sign that read 40% ENTIRE STORE...what!? Of course I had to go in. Laquita said hello to me and then I just couldn't stop listening to her. Laquita, not only did you manage to persuade me to open a Loft credit card - which by the way, I NEVER open a store credit card but you also asked if I wanted to make a $20 donation towards breast cancer research. After 5 minutes of pondering, I of course said YES. All in all saving me 85% on my entire purchase! I ended buying 4 pair of the Marissa Skinny (2 in black and 2 in navy) and a few other accessories. Definitely not a planned shopping spree but so much fun. Also a special note to Kiara who was helping me in the dressing room because I had to try on 11 pair of pants in order to find 4 that fit perfect for my body type. Thanks for being patient with me and getting me several sizes and listening to me ask if I should go 1 size up or down (sorry!). So much fun shopping and what a wonderful, pleasant experience with Laquita and Kiara. Laquita, if you read this - you will go far in life with your engaging personality. Whatever you decide to do in life, I hope that it involves making people feel special - not sure Loft retail is the right fit for your natural talent ;). I hope you soar and fly high! Rude staff. I have been in the store on more than 20 occasions and each and every time the staff failed to greet me, looked disinterested in their jobs and were basically unprofessional. My last visit was the same and I had to listen to the twenty something sales twits talk about their personal lives while ignoring me. If I see something I like, I go to another store to purchase it. I am also very surprised to read the bad reviews. I am there often and the service is excellent, the selection is pretty good not the best. Their clothes line tend to cater to smaller sizes that is just the way it is and is well known. I do agree with the lady who made the comment about the 60 percent off advertisement when you go in few items are under that category. But overall is a nice store with good quality merchandise and reasonably priced... and great customer service read more

I'm pretty sure that they are prejudice against ppl with fat arms and big boobs. Rarely do that have something that looks good on non waifs.

I am shocked by the low reviews for this location. I've shopped here several times and both the service and product selection have been excellent. This store doesn't get as crowed as the location in Irvine Spectrum, which is a plus. I recently applied for the Loft Love Rewards card through one of their managers, Diana- who was super personable and helpful. Because of her, I was able to save over $200 on my purchase! I'm really surprised at some of the bad reviews about HB Loft. This is my hometown store, so I shop here quite a bit. Most of the ladies that work here are very nice, greeting me as I come in and taking my try ons to the fitting room. A special shout out to sales person Anna who always is helpful and cheery. She is all about customer service and going out of her way to find sizes for me. The store is always clean, bright and very organized. The sales staff is hard at work whenever I'm shopping in the store. I will continue to shop here because I like the clothes and also for the fact its a nice shopping experience. read more

I'm updating my previous review, based on the last few times I came in. Actually three times. There is a young girl there, who I believe is a manager, who twice went out of her way to lookup and order items for me in store. She was very sweet and knowledgeable, and made my experience very pleasant. The last time I went in, I had a return, and even though they had to take 2 of my 25 off 50 cards, the woman was very nice about it. read more

This is by far my favorite Loft location and I've been going here for the past 5 years. I typically am able to find my size still available and the staff are very helpful, especially the manager. I'm a little surprised by the low review and felt compelled to write one to show my support. I'll admit that some staff are friendlier than others but overall, everyone is friendly and helpful. Complete lack of customer service or knowledge by these employees. We entered the store, were not greeted by any associates. We had to ask one of the girls if she actually worked there since she was too busy talking to another sales associate. We attempted to ask about sizing, to which she replied "she didn't know". When we asked to try something on, they lazily motioned towards the fitting rooms. We were searching for a size for a cardigan, which they were out of and no one in the store offered to check to see if they had the size somewhere in the back. They were just plain lazy and it's a shame they ruined the impression I had of Ann Taylor. Other stores are extremely helpful, the associates are knowledgeable about the merchandise and assist you to the fitting rooms. Honestly, is it too much to ask for them to do their job? Best to avoid this location if you can...unless like me you know what you want and can bypass the incompetent staff. read more

The staff was really rude and unprofessional. They were gossiping loudly about their lives which, as someone who worked in retail, I know is unacceptable. I've been shopping at Loft for at least 15 years. Prior to the recession in 2008, their clothing were much better in both style and quality; sadly just like every thing else, you get less for your money these days! I don't shop often like I used to and the only reason I still shop there now is because they have petite sizes; however I do most of my shopping online due to limited inventory/selection/sizes at the stores. This HB store is closest to my home hence occasionally I'd stop by for returns, exchanges or just browsing around (few times a year at most!). I visited the store recently and as soon as I walked in there's an older lady with long blonde hair eyeing me from head to toes (and this isn't the first time it happened to me at this store!). I recognized her since she used to work at the Crystal Court store in Costa Mesa before it's closed. She was rude to me then so obviously I was not surprised when I saw what she did but wow, there are quite a few of the sale associates who work here seems to have prejudice against Asians. Three stars for clothes selection, one star for customer service hence my rating. If you're not Caucasians, better shop somewhere else. You'll feel most definitely uncomfortable here. Thank god they changed employees. They had women working there who seemed to get bothered if you asked for help. The new associates Ive seen around since Christmas. They are very helpful and always friendly you. They start you a dressing room and ask if you need help. I have been shopping with Loft for yrs now because of the great customer service i get. I purchased a lou & grey boat neck top online. However, I thought I was buying it on sale but when I got the item and the receipt, I noticed that that particular top wasn't on sale. So I went back to the store when everything was 50% off and I asked the sales person if I could return this top and just buy it back because I thought I was buying it on sale and it wasn't. She took the top (swooped it up) and looks at the inventory online and says there is no more xs in stock. She keeps my top. She knew exactly what I meant. She wears an xs and she wanted that top at 50% off. She was a young cute blond girl that wears an xs. I think that is a really chincy thing to do to your customers. I think the Loft HB should know. She was perfectly aware that I liked the top but I thought it was too expensive and wanted to see if I could return it for the sale price. She knew I had the right size. There was no reason she couldn't give it back to me for the sale price. She just wanted that top. She's very greedy with clothes. The Loft should be aware. read more
