Be prepared to be ignored or employees to dread helping. I got asked a couple times if I need assistance and it looked like they dreaded to ask, then why ask if i need help? When i go up to pay the manager had the nerve to runaway and yell out loud "someone else will help!" To compare them to a better customer service atmosphere at the store called Aerie--they should probably keep that attitude in check-especially if customers are nice!! Customer experience is everything when it comes to reputation/ image of the brand to keep a positive experience.

After a different experience not far away, it was a pleasant surprise to find things not only in organized-by-size state, but numerous real deals. There's a variety here that's good for younger to older. There are items that are insanely priced, but many realistic prices and a few good deals. Happy to get some shoes and apparel. The salesperson was super nice and patient with me (I'd literally never bought trousers from Torrid before), and then left me alone to try on the things I picked up, which is basically my perfect shopping experience. The store is getting up there in age a bit, I'm guessing... it could use a paint job and the sales rack is always slightly messy, but in the grand scheme of things, that's really not a problem. The location is great, easy to get to, and lets me run a bunch of errands at once, which is always great.

Torrid isn't your average plus size clothing store…read more I've been buying from this brand since 2005-2006, back whenever it was an online only store based out of California. In that time, I have gotten to know the brand really well. I can tell you from tons of experience that their clothing will go out of style long before it ever falls apart. The items are very well made and will hold up to everyday wear. This brand has done a lot for the plus size clothing industry. Torrid was one of the first brands to start making truly trendy clothing for plus size girls, for that reason, Torrid will always be my favorite clothing store. Upon entering a Torrid store location, you will be greeted by a sales associate who typically introduces themselves and asks if you need any assistance, etc. They will offer to start a fitting room for you. They'll then write your name on the door and begin hanging items in the fitting room for you. Some fitting rooms have fans with a control switch on the wall-this is awesome in the summer months. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel like their customers are important. This location is one of my favorites. The staff has always been so nice and the store is always neat and well kept.

If they can't keep the lot the way it's always been, first come first serve, pay the meter, then they are wimps and do not deserve my business. Visited today to redeem $50 gift card and greeted by the entire…read morestaff...was looking for jeans, told one of the workers my size (believe her name was Suzanne), she pulled my size in 2 or 3 different styles took them to dressing room & then suggested a pair of Chino's... tried on the Chino's and they were perfect, soft fit, casual & dressy... as I browsed through the store another TB staff member (Stefani)asked me which scent of candle I preferred .. told her they are all pretty great, that's when she asked me if I had Yelped TB before.. I said I have & she told me she read the review & it was very complimentary...she than told me she was gifting me a complimentary candle for the review...Wow... I've never been treated so well in a store, I felt like a VIP(lol)... as I checked out I met the district manager of TB, believe his name is Tim and we had a nice conversation about TB products & the Easton store...Suzanne, Stefani, Tim thank you for the great gift and customer service I received today ...You Guys never disappoint !!! DSW Polaris didn't have a single pair of girls size 4 shoes on the rack. Not a single pair. That was bad enough then we used the restroom. DON'T use the ladies room w/o bio hazard coveralls and booties on. It hasn't seen a cleaning in at least 6 months. I'm talking walls, floors, toilet bases, under the sinks etc. It's just disgusting. If the store manager can find a vacuum cleaner for the back hallway carpet it would be helpful. I'm sure I won't be going back. I'll switch to the Easton location.
