I am just sick and tired of filling my cart up with things I want then having to put it all back because the line is out of the store. It sucks they haven't figured out a better way to control the INSANE line they have every time I go no matter what day it is. Either high new workers or separate the store lines. Lastly the workers may be some of the least efficient people I have ever encountered. The store is fin otherwise but u stopped going there because of the just terrible line. read more

Tj maxx has bad cashiers. They're required to ask you multiple times if you want to get a credit card. If I say no the first time that means to quit asking. The managers need to stop getting mad when they don't get cards, because it shows when they ask over and over. It makes people wanna go to other places. read more

This is a giant tj maxx and home goods super store. Lots of good items as long as you are comfortable with searching. I'm a big t j maxx fan but I give this store 3 stars solely based on the wait time to check out. Make sure you have at least 30 minutes available to just wait in the never ending line. It doesn't matter what time of day, or what day is the week, the line is always insane. Despite the cool things I'm able to find I'm discouraged driving to this location because of the line. read more

Best tjmaxx ever. (I don't enter the Polaris location anymore it's disgusting -they need to remodel and update over there)

This location does not have the variety that other locations have, which is ok, but the service is terrible. There are never enough cashiers. I've never waited less than 20 minutes to check out, Many times I've just left because it's taken so long. I see people do that at this location, a lot. read more

My friend and I spent a good, $200/$300 in TJ planning a baby shower. No big deal! But I had found out she had a baby rug already and found a super cute one so I needed to take it back. I don't normally do this and I typically let things go. However Priya eyeballed me from the moment I walked it. I do ultimately feel like she was racially profiling me, I am a black young woman. I came in with my bonnet on and even when she was checking everyone else out, she maintained her glare. When I got to the register to return my item she cut me off every single time I spoke or even tried to ask a question about why I couldn't just get my cash back. I live all the way in bellefontaine, I came before work because this is all I have time for. She was very rude, and even wrote my name on the gift card that I had no choice in having. Go to Easton! I've had no problems returning items there and have the option of cash or gift card, with or without receipt. read more

TJ Maxx, often colocated with HomeGoods as in this case, has nice clothing, often at reasonable prices. This one is pretty big, and new and clean. I was looking for a scarf for Sweetie and selection was very limited for those, but they have lots of other clothes and accessories. Checkout is one massive line up front, joined with the one for HomeGoods, so prepare for a wait. Lots of little trinkets and gifts up front, a decent kids' section in back, all in all a good store for men's and women's clothing. read more

Womens department is disappointing and the shoe department is just gross. I didn't see anything I would buy and I usually buy a lot of stuff at TJ Maxx! I'm hopeful things get better! read more

Okay, I love me some Homegoods and was thrilled to,learn this one was opening Bc the others I normally,shop at are so far away. So that's my disclaimer...but the TJ Maxx Homegoods store staff at the Plain City store is strange. First, not one person seems to be able to answer a question. I've gotten a lot of blank stares and I don't know from staff there. And they will not move to save your life. Obviously the staff here is more important than the customers. On opening day, I was actually prevented from looking at something Bc staff were taking pictures of themselves. Displays are in aisles, and at times, you can't get your cart around it. So, while I wanted this store to be my favorite HG, it sadly is not due to,what seems to be such an incompetent level of staff. Now I did meet an employee there the other day who was really great...older gentleman...thought he said he was a former bus driver. He directed me to a manager, who again, unfortunately, could not answer my question...do these folks know anything? All they seem to say is, I dont know...do better read more

Quiet a good collection at affordable prices. But Staff sucks ! I don't really enjoy shopping here because of such bad behaved staff. always gives strange look. Seems they don't care. Why are they so unhappy? Anything you ask their answer is "I don't know" or "Whatever we have got is on display" ,"Very rude", Customers have to wait until the staff is done collecting the stuff or pushing the cart with almost "get lost from here" look. Horrible to shop. I tried couple of times and met the same kind of staff every time. Only a person at the counter seemed to be nice that too one time. I think all the staff landed directly from the President's Land. One time I was shopping with a friend and the staff, she made a comment that seemed too odd to us. They don't care. If you don't train them or change the staff, this store is going to close soon for sure. I think the staff wants every customer not to visit again so that they get to sit all day long. Whatever it is, its not a pleasant place to visit even a single time! Good Luck with that kind of environment. One star is only minimum here, I couldn't find any negative stars :) read more
