I was in my friend's wedding and every time I went in to get it checked, it didn't feel as if any alterations were done unless they were the wrong ones. The pant legs were good one week but needed more waist room and then the next week the legs were too long and the waist hadn't been adjusted. I spent $300 to buy the suit and another $210 in gas money having to continuously go in to the store which was excessive. I was told "you should be able to walk out with it and not try it on, but you can if you want to" and every time I tried it on, it didn't fit right. There ended up being a hole where the seating room is and there was no time for further adjustments since it was the day before the wedding after weeks of going into this place. The hole got bigger as the night went on and the other groomsman also mentioned how the sowing on their pants were cheap quality. You don't get your money's worth from this place and in the end, you most likely won't be happy with the end product.

We purchased a tuxedo for myself (the groom) and my brother, the best man. The staff was excellent, polite, helpful, and went out of their way to cater to our every need. They went above and beyond to make our day special, even throwing in my bow tie and suspenders for free as a wedding gift to me. The tux I really wanted from a catalog they had on hand [';p-/.was not available in the size I was looking for. I really wanted a black and white tux. Milano had a different black and white one ordered from New York and rushed to the store in time for the alterations to be made and in time for my wedding. He even did this at no extra cost to me! What an amazing experience. The staff at Milano made my fiancé and myself feel important and special. They were a key ingredient in making our special day unforgettable. They made lifelong customers of us all, including my brother! I cannot recommend them enough.

Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different story. It's a very small boutique, yet we were never acknowledged--not a hello, not an offer to help, nothing. Meanwhile, the manager/owner appeared completely occupied with another woman who dominated the conversation at length about having so many clothing options that she couldn't decide what to wear to an upcoming event. We browsed for quite a while and were fully prepared to spend money, but after being completely ignored, we ultimately decided to leave. For a small boutique, the personal shopping experience should be part of what makes you want to shop there rather than online or at a larger retailer. The merchandise at Ladybird was lovely, but unfortunately the lack of even basic acknowledgment made us feel as though our business simply wasn't important.
