I found the jewelry to be most appealing if you like simple costume or silver chains and small earrings. Jewelry ranges in price from $20-$45 and seems worth it. The collection in general is unique. Clothing is pretty basic styles and a few retro mod pieces ranging from jackets to jeans and plenty of knit shirts. I tried on a cute cotton dress that was reasonably priced. While I was in the room the clerk received a call and I heard her chatting. I was pleased to see that as soon as I left the changing room she put the phone down and was very attentive. Prices range from $40-$200. Judging by the style quality and designers this is reasonable and worth it. Nice new addition to the Short North clothing scene.

I feel other places easily charge close to double for comparable items. The boutique has a fair number of essential oils and good smelling herbs/spices, many Hindu themed jewelry and accessories, and lots of unique clothing (unfortunately all female). The woman working the boutique during my visit was very friendly and knowledgeable of the items available. I always like to support local businesses, and decided to check-in; to my dismay, they were not yet on Yelp so I added them. Currently they have a FB check-in discount (15% if I remember correctly) so definitely checking out! Highly recommended, I'll be coming back for a gift or two for my SO.

I was promptly greeted when I came in and was offered some coffee or water. I had to pass as it was a quick stop but I really liked the vide here. The shop had a bit of everything including clothing, candles, jewelry, and all sorts of gifts including some gorgeous drinking glasses. Definitely worth browsing just to check it all out. Overall, it looked like the general price point is on the higher end but nothing too outrageous for a boutique shop. I did find the ornament I saw in the picture but I know my mom already has the same one, or one that could pass off as its twin anyway. So many cute gifts and would totally visit again even though I didn't find something this trip. This location buys and sells both men's and women's clothing. Each location buys based on the area, so what may sell well/buy well here, may not be what you will find in other locations. For example, you'll find many more high end items in Dublin than in Hilliard. You may find jeans here for around ~$15/pair. Shirts ~$10-14 each. SELLING: * when you sell, you will get $ the day that you sell your items. This is similar to Platos Closet/Clothes Mentor, but unlike many of the Grandview consignment stores where you don't get $ until the store sells your item. I prefer getting my $ up front, so I appreciate that here. * You get ~30% of what they will sell your item for here, whereas you will get up to ~50% of sell price at the Grandview consignments for example. * You can also get store credit instead of cash here. In that case, they give you 25% more. Note that each Uptown is individually owned, so you can only use that store credit at the specific store you sell. *On average, you really only get $4-5 per item you sell here. * The wait time for selling your clothes is typically only ~5-15 minutes, and you're required to stay in store as they sort through on your first visit selling. BUYING: * note that you if you do return something, you can only get store credit or exchange for something in stores. They will not refund you. *Overall, pretty average.
