Moral of the story is do not go online to order ANYTHING! Their customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE!

When I got in the store I said I needed to return some clothes and the manager immediately had an attitude. When she saw that I had not opened the bag she said, "You haven't even tried anything on and you're already returning it?" She had the BIGGEST attitude when she said that. I told her that it was an impulse buy. She just shook her head and walked away. She was even rude to someone who had called about an order that they had ordered to be picked up in store. She basically hung up on the person. She didn't even listen to them. She literally held the phone away from her ear so even I was able to hear what the woman was saying. Don't go to this store. Torrid is a women's clothing store that only sells plus sizes…read more I'm a plus sized short woman. At most clothing stores, it's nearly impossible for me to find a pair of pants that fit. Not a problem at Torrid with large selections of both plus size and short jeans, pants, & leggings. Thanks to them, I own a pair of jeggings! (Who knew those look good on plus sized women too?!) The prices are a little high, but I'll accept that as a trade off for items fitting me off the rack (no alterations needed). They often have sales. The one going on today for regular priced clothing is buy one item get a second item 30% off. There is also a great selection of dresses, bathing suits, bras, and tee shirts. The sales staff are helpful and not over the top in pushing sales. I'm wicked psyched that there is now a Torrid close to my home.

But, I love the clothes, I love their dresses, jeans & especially the Tees, I have a weird body shape & their Tees, if its crew neck or V-neck (my favorite) always look flattering on me, or at least I think so. Lots of good accessories from necklaces, bracelets, pocketbooks & sunglasses The Men's side has nice selection of clothing as well, I love their dress shirts & blazers, but I feel their Men's Tees are cut very slim; so much so that it is trying to make every guy a Jersey Shore look alike. Where they slather on the lotion onto your hand tersely. The management here always seems to be communicating through the ear pieces of the next customer to target. Unfortunately with retail it also seems apparent that they profile their demographic to determine who will be the people more likely to spend more when they are busier during the sales. I would prefer going to regular department stores and shopping in peace, or Yankee Candle for fragrances.

(Most shops do have similar layout). It was a quiet Monday night whilst waiting for our table to be ready for dinner. Looked around and they had the new colors dropped, ended up with the lady grabbing some more headbands as her other ones were getting old or lost haha. Staff were nice, didn't stay in the store that long but enjoyed this location. Clearance rack in the back left of the shop with some deals to be had for women's lines.
