am incredibly grateful I found Dr. Lindsay Fox and LodoDental. I first came in after a crown issue with my previous dentist had caused me to lose confidence. I had done a lot of research before choosing a new practice, and LodoDental got me in very quickly, assessed what was going on, and then got me scheduled promptly to start the process for a new permanent gold crown. The care and attention to detail were immediately obvious. They knew I was heading to Seattle and sent me off with temporary cement just in case the crown came loose while I was traveling -- which turned out to be a lifesaver. I only wish I had thought to ask for a second packet, because when I ran out partway through the trip, the over-the-counter version was nowhere near as effective. That little bit of forethought on their part made a real difference. Dr. Fox and the team also identified a crack/chip in the tooth next to the crown and took care of it with a filling. They found issues with two of my other crowns as well, and what impressed me most was the judgment they exercised. For one crown, they recommended keeping an eye on it rather than jumping into unnecessary work. For the other, a porcelain crown with a crack, they recommended addressing it sooner rather than later. That combination -- thorough exam, clear explanation, and not pushing work that doesn't need to be done yet -- gave me a lot of confidence. My hygienist, Lindsey -- different Lindsey, equally excellent -- was also incredible. She was thorough, careful, and took her time to do a genuinely high-quality cleaning. My mouth felt extremely clean afterward, and I was very impressed by how much the overall exam surfaced for thoughtful discussion. There were a couple of small operational bumps. Some temporary staff were getting up to speed, which caused some friction and delay. There was also an imaging scanner issue on one visit, though it was fixed by my next appointment. But what mattered to me was that the core staff were clearly supervising closely, stepping in when needed, and making sure the standard of care stayed high. The minor hiccups never felt like they compromised the outcome. Overall, this has been an outstanding experience. Dr. Fox, Lindsey, and the LodoDental team are thoughtful, careful, and clearly care deeply about doing things right. I felt listened to, well cared for, and genuinely confident in the decisions being made. After losing trust elsewhere, finding this practice was a huge relief. Very disappointed to make this review as I really enjoyed my dentist but unfortunately feels that they are just money hungry. I had a question about a tooth in particular and the assistant asked me if I wanted to speak with the dentist about it and I said yes- the following week I get a charge for consultation of $100 for just speaking with the dentist when this was never disclosed to me. Every time I left I had a sneaky charge to pay on top of what I had already paid. When you spend tens of thousands of dollars on implants, you do not expect that they will last barely 10 years. The last of the implants that I had done by LoDo Dental disintegrated this evening - I still have half the screws still in my mouth from two of the implants, need to research how dangerous metal screws are because the screw for the one that disintegrated in June 2024 is moving and the screw for the one that disintegrated this evening. Tonight the tooth and part of the screw lifted out of my mouth from the right side molar. In June 2024 the same happened to an upper tooth on the left side. I had to have another dug out and they found that the screw had also broken. Quality for the implants was definitely lacking. Should have know there were going to be problems because they had problems going in - at least two of the tops cracked while being inserted and I had to wait another 3 weeks while they remade them back in August 2024. Type of care - less than one star Care quality - less than one star Overall office experience - less than one star. read more

Came here when I first moved to Denver and everyone from the staff to the dentist were great. My experience with cleanings have been fantastic and am always impressed with how quick and efficient they are. The best part is they have TV's so you can watch a movie or tv show while you're waiting for them to finish up. Also give great referrals for specialists depending on the need at the time. Dr. Furuta and her staff are AMAZING! Been going here for a number of years and they are hands down the best in town. Not only are they at the forefront of dental care, providing some of the newest techniques and treatments, they're super organized, accommodating, and downright caring, kind people - all around amazing experience. They are very patient, as well, and take time to explain all the options and not force any decisions or unnecessary services. I went through Invisalign treatment and my teeth were hella stubborn - had some moments I was ready to give up on pretty teeth - but they were very kind, patient with me, explained all the options, and reassured me I'd get an awesome end result even though my teeth were being stubborn. Dental care is awesome, Invisalign experience has been awesome, and my teeth are looking reallll cute, thanks to Dr. Furuta and crew. HIGHLY recommend!! read more

I was very unhappy with my experience with this dentist. They are the epitome of untrustworthy and there are higher caliber and more trust worthy offices that can assist you, I would not recommend this place whatsoever. They will exploit you and your insurance to the max. They were not transparent about fee's and the cost of the services Id have with them. They felt predatory and anxious to charge to my insurance for anything. Just totally not a good vibe. I felt like a number to them. My experience with the front desk staff left much to be desired. I work front desk at a hotel and I wish they were compassionate people, but they are there to get your $ and nothing else. My experiences with them are reminiscent of renting a car or going to a auto body shop. You know, shady. I always get a weird feeling when front desk staff is eating at the desk. A drink is always cool, but the front desk staff eating chips and jerky? A little gross imo. This place is making $ because they are aggressive and want your $. If you want medical care focused on the dollar sign, come here. Thats what they care about the most as you can see in each and every experience. read more

Super over the top friendly, cool patient glasses, movie, digital xrays If you are not a people person, don't even think about coming here. Everyone is beyond friendly! They do digital xrays which ROCK!!! No more waiting for the things to develop, the dr can see them right away, the little card is less painful than those stupid bite wings! Ugh! I always hated those things! The office is not far from 16th st, good parking - metered. The office is pretty urbanly decorated, open ceilings, very cool. I have had a cleaning and a filling. I hate the dentist. Hate. After a very bad experiance 6 years ago with a crown I haven't seen a dentist since. But lately I have had problems with the said crown and with my gum line, so I made an appointment with Lodo Dental after searching for a dentist on my insurance plan. Made the appointment in January for a day in March, (if that does not tell you how busy this place is). I had a bit of trouble finding parking, as they only have two designated spots and not very many meters out front. I also filled out all my patient information online, so that saved me ten minutes. So on the main thing. I am taken into a very open area and given xrays, which are digital, and way cool. The dental hygenist was AMAZING. I seriously love her. I was able to watch a movie while they numbed me up for a under the gum cleaning...not my favorite thing in the world. But with the movie time just flew by! And she was quick! I am actually looking forward to finishing my under the gum cleaning. Best part of the entire visit....NO CAVITIES! read more

I've been going to LoDo dental for three years, but today was the last straw. Thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment time, no one had seen me. Not even a "sorry we're running late" or a "it will just be a few more minutes". So I left. I wish there was some way I could bill them for my lost time, plus penalties for poor customer service. Previous issues included breaking my tooth during a routine cavity fill that then required a crown. The temp crown came off over the weekend (wrong glue used). Then the crown didn't fit right the first time and had to be redone. It took 3 months and 4 visits to get it all fixed. If you have all day and don't mind waiting (and possibly being forgotten) and you just want a cleaning, then this place is fine. But if you have things to do, find a lack of customer service annoying, and might have a cavity or something worse, look elsewhere. read more

I had a good experience the first couple times. Then I asked for a special night guard (like the one my mom got) to help me stop grinding at night. I sent images to Dr. Futura and she agreed to make it. When presented with the night guard, I told the hygienist that couldn't possibly be mine, since it wasn't at all like what Dr. Futura and I discussed. Dr. Futura proceeded to sit and yell at me about how she made what I wanted and that the images were of a splint and that their lab didn't even make that kind. A fact that she should have told me before spending $400 on it. Later, she slipped when telling me that I would need to see a specialist and said that the splint would be made by the same lab. I didn't like being lied to. When I reminded her I have a night guard that prevents me from damaging my teeth, she said that I told her I didn't wear it and she made this one so I'd actually wear it. I never told her I don't wear my night guard. I know for sure I never said this because I wear it absolutely every night. She was just making things up to avoid being wrong. I also don't know what good it would do to make a new one if I'm wasn't wearing the one I have. She ended up refunding my $400. I will not be back. read more

I love going to the dentist... and have since I was a kid... so I should have liked this place Ambiance: 4.5 Convenience: 4 Service: 1 Piece of Mind: 0 Wait: 30 minutes XRay's: 35 minutes Cleaning: 25 minutes Dentist: 5 minutes The technition who took my xrays was fresh out of school and had so little experience it took him over a half hour to take basic xrays of my mouth. They have "digital xrays" which sounds snazzy, but instead of having a simple scan, I had to remove and replace this contraption that kept cutting my gums and roof of my mouth because it was too large, more than 10 times. The hygienist was pleasant, but again took almost a half hour to clean my teeth! The clincher for me...The dentist sits down, prods my teeth in maybe 3 minutes, and instead of speaking to me as she's poking around, she "announces" her findings back to her assistant standing behind me in code. Great bedside manner. You're supposed to be able to trust your dentist, right? After her speedy and aloof review, Dr. Furuta told me that I had to have a filling removed and refilled because it was damaged. I have NEVER had a cavity, so how could I have a filling?!! Scary and ground for malpractice. I nearly ran out of there... Second opinion told me that I have incredibly healthy teeth and gums. No cavities. Oh and when I asked for my records from LoDo, they printed out a low-quality 81/2x11" page instead of giving me my xrays. What happend to those fancy digital Xrays? read more

I kind of hate to leave a so-so review for Lodo Dental because they have such a stellar hygienist . Very sweet and friendly, but professional and thorough. I also liked the front desk staff and the dentist personally. That said, however, I will be finding a new dentist. I have been there three times, two cleanings and a a partial crown. All three times I went there I had to wait for an HOUR to be seen. And for both cleanings, one person, not the hygienist, polished my teeth and then the hygienist cleaned my teeth. It seemed backwards to me and I think they did that because they had overbooked and fell so far behind. Two times they rescheduled the appointment that I had made months in advance. Clearly, scheduling is a problem for these folks. I really hope they pull it together because I love to see women professionals succeed. But they also need to be more respectful of their patients' time. We have busy lives, too. read more

We have been going to Lodo Dental for about 6 years now and we absolutely love the dentists and all of the staff in the office! Our appointments are always on time and we get reminders via email and/or text for upcoming appointments. They explain all options and cost and just are all around very customer friendly. I have had no hesitations reaching out to Dr. Furuta for advice on a tooth extraction and she gave me honest and solid advice. It felt great to know I had someone that I feel comfortable to go to for that type of advice that was not the doctor that would have been doing the procedure ( oral surgeon). We are excited to now have our 3 year old start his visits at Lodo Dental with the amazing staff they have and know he will be in good hands. read more

I've been going to Lodo dental since 2007 and I must admit their customer service has gone from 4 or 5 to a 1! I called them when my top and bottom molars were hurting and scheduled an appointment, after seeing me they mentioned that I have to get a cavity replaced. A few days after the procedure, my molars still hurt. I called them again and they gave me a special mouthwash which I began using. Unfortunately the mouthwash really hurt my entire mouth so I called them and they told me discontinue using it and come back in to get the cavity fixed. When they reexamined my teeth they said what I really needed is to have a root canal and they referred me to an endodontist. Since taking care of my teeth is very important to me, I scheduled an appointment for the root canal. After the root canal I had to come in to get my crown fitted. After 2 hours of working on my crown they told me that I needed to schedule another appointment because they couldn't get the crown to fit right and needed to have it sent off to be made. I left the appointment disappointed and with a temporary crown. That night during dinner, the crown came off while I was eating a salad. And the salad didn't have any croutons or anything crunchy! I immediately called them and they asked me to come back to get it replaced. The next morning they put the crown back on. Again it broke that night-this time splitting in half. They rescheduled my appointment again. The morning of the appointment, I went to the door and it was locked. They were closed! I don't know why they scheduled the appointment on a day that they were closed. Each time I called I never felt like they cared or felt like my time is valuable. I have had to come back over and over again for a procedure that should have taken only one visit. I keep going back thinking that this is just not like them and that it can't really be this bad, and each time I am surprised by the poor customer service. read more

These guys rock. I have been going to them for 3 years, and never once had to wait more than 2 minutes to be called back for my appt. Julie, the hygeniest, is AMAZING. She explains everything super thoroughly before and while she's doing it, as does Dr. Futura. My first visit was over an hour long, because of how thorough they were- measuring my gumline, talking to me about my teeth, etc. I mentioned that I was afraid my meter was going to expire (I didn't realize they had free parking spaces next to the building), and someone went out and put quarters in the meter for me. They wouldn't even let me give them quarters out of my wallet, it was "on the house." The entire staff is really easygoing and friendly. I had a cavity filled a few weeks ago, and I got to pick a movie to watch while they did the work :) These guys will make you love going to the dentist! read more

Really like the staff, especially my hygienist. I had to have a long procedure done and the staff was very attentive to my comfort. I was given perfect amount of numbing so that I didn't feel work being done and I was able to watch movies, which helped keep my mind off of what was being done. Wonderful, wonderful place. I just got back from there and I can't believe I actually ENJOYED getting a crown put on. I thought that it was going to be a quick in and out visit for a cracked tooth - and it turned into a three hour dental marathon. You know what - it wasn't bad at all though. The staff is hilarious - and my Dentist did everything in her power to make sure that I didn't feel anything during the procedure. She even let me have laughing gas through the whole thing, and when she saw me wince just once because the anesthesia was wearing off - she took out another syringe and gave me more. Let me start out by saying I don't mind going to the dentist. And my mother was a dental hygienist for many years, two close family friends in WI where I grew up are very successful dentists. I know quite a bit about good vs bad dentistry. This place looks cool, very modern, and the two basic cleanings I had here over the course of the last year and half, and one cavity filling were fine. The problem is their *very* shady billing practices. Short story: I called to verify they accept United Healthcare dental insurance as an in-network dentist. They also took my insurance card and at the end of each visit and verified I owe $0.00 for my cleaning. BUT... they lied to me, they don't accept United! They were submitting claims to United, and United was "writing them off" as bad debt to protect their client (me). But after a few cleanings and one cavity, United stopped doing this and I started getting billed. I called United, and United verified LoDo dental is not on their "list" of accepted places to go, and never has been! But when you call LoDo and ask if they accept United, they will say yes, but they don't. When you go for your appointment, they will say you owe $0.00, but then you'll get a very large bill from United because LoDo is not in-network. It might take a year or two, because United sometimes writes off these charges as a courtesy. But eventually you'll start getting billed. I think LoDo knows United does this, and is looking to make a quick buck for a few cleanings until the patient realizes their insurance isn't in network. At which point, of course, the patient stops going to LoDo Dental. To make matters worse, I referred my girlfriend here, who happens to have the same exact United dental insurance from her work. *Exact* same story from her. Now we both had to deal with United and explain LoDo's shady billing and insurance practices. Plus, switching dentists is a pain in the butt. I would have much rather found an in-network dentist upfront, vs. having this story play out. LoDo dental will tell you anything just to get you to become a patient. While the service was good during my visits, and the cavity I had filled seems to be okay (although it's starting to hurt again now), I can't support a business like this that has such shady practices to get new clients. Unfortunately, I would have to agree with some of the less than pleasant reviews on this page. Going to the dentist is expensive and frustrating as it is. I went to Lodo Dental for a front tooth repair. They placed a temporary bonding material on my front tooth, that broke 2 - 3 weeks later, I wasn't even eating when it broke! I had bonding on before that lasted 10 yrs. After the bonding broke, they fixed my tooth with an awful yellow "Chicklet" looking tooth. The first repair looked completely different than the second! How can I trust what the final result will look like, if the temporary looks terrible? I have since gone to an Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry certified dentist for 2 porcelain crowns and 4 porcelain veneers. Lodo Dental is convenient in location and may be a great place for routine dental care, but I would NOT recommend them for cosmetic dentistry. read more

And while I unfortunately needed some dental work done, Dr Fox made it as easy and painless as possible. I'm sure that they are nice and friendly - but good business seems to out of their reach! They sent out direct mail to the surrounding neighborhoods in January, with offers good for 60 days. I called with the brochure in my hand today looking to make an appointment, and was told that it was 'the older version' and that the offer had doubled in price. When I pointed out it said it would be honored for 60 days, they said "well, not on the older brochures." They lost a new customer over this. Had they honored their advertising, they would've likely had a new customer for years. Approach with caution..... read more

This is the best dental office you will ever find. I have gone here for a few years and have always had excellent patient care. This month they went above and beyond. I broke a crown and was in excruciating pain. They got me in immediately and were even able to get me a same day appointment for a root canal. Dr. Rosenvold called me that afternoon to see how everything had gone. Today I received a handwritten note from her. I will never go anywhere else for my dental needs! Top patient care! read more

I came to Lodo Dental after a nightmare experience at Comfort Dental in Cherry Creek in 2004. Lodo Dental replaced all of the fillings that Comfort Dental put in and since that time I have had to have half of these redone. In addition, I referred one of my coworkers here for a cleaning and a cavity and she had a terrible experience that resulted in multiple visits. This was in 2010. That sucked. Finally, I had a root canal 3 years ago and a crown put on by Lodo Dental 3/2009. Last night it just fell off. I went to my new dentist today and he says that it has to do with the filling stuff that they sealed the crown to. He said that filling putty is basically rubber and that there is no way this would have stayed on long term. So, I am going to try to save the tooth, but there is really a 50/50 chance :-( It has been some time since I went to this office, and I looked on the site today and I do not see the dentist that I used(Brittany Seymour) I just hope they are using better practices if they are still in business. At the end of the day, I would always get a second opinion regardless of where you go. read more
