A couple issues. Poor Billing process. I often had to review my billing ledger and catch over payments. Estimates were sometimes 20% off. I had a small credit on my account and asked them to refund the credit to me. I was told they would charge me a $1 fee to mail me a refund check. How can you charge someone to refund their money?. They recommended an overly complicated crown to address an old filling. I was able to go to another dentist and get the filling replaced at a fraction of the cost....saving me thousands. That is ridiculous and Vero Dental is part of our crisis around the cost of healthcare and overcharging. I would definitely stear clear of Vero Dental. read more

If I could give them a 0-star rating, I would. I had a crown fall out and needed a place to go so I called here and they got me in. They then called that an exam and billed it to insurance that way. I went back to get an actual cleaning, and they told me I need a periodontal cleaning and wanted an exorbitant amount of money to do that. Then I got a crazy bill for no cleaning and again looking in my mouth for 5 minutes all because they billed my insurance for an exam to put the crown in so now my insurance won't cover the exam during the cleaning. I went and got a second opinion elsewhere and paid out of pocket and paid less that they are trying to charge me AFTER insurance. Turns out I don't need any of the additional work they are saying. They are using insurance codes to drive up costs and get money where they can. Looking at other reviews, people are having similar experiences. I would take your business to any other practice. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Johnson for several years. She's guided me through several procedures and care plans and I could not be happier. We started with invisalign with the ultimate goal of veneers when my budget allowed. When I was finally ready, the team at Vero was transparent, professional and accommodating. They walked me through the expectations and timelines, answering any and all questions I had. The procedure was painless and comforting (especially with the ceiling mounted TV and weighted blanket offered!). Dr. Johnson checked in afterward to make sure I was still happy with my new teeth. Everyone I spoke with during my appointment was so friendly and informative! The dental technicians and Dr. Johnson took way more time to update and inform me than any previous dentist I've ever seen, and it was nice to know where things were good and where I should pay more attention when flossing, brushing, etc. Also, the office itself is beautiful! It's very modern and relaxing. They gave me tinted glasses to wear when leaning back, and there was a tv to watch on the ceiling. I came from out of town and my crown came off, I called Vero Dental and they were able to book an appotiment for me for the following day. When I came in everyone was super friendly and helpful and they fixed my crown by temporary cementing it.. In addition they made me a plastic mold in case it comes off. They also described all of the fees in advance and what my insurance would cover and not cover, that was impressive actually. If I lived in Denver, I would definitely choose these guys full time. They have monitors on the ceilings, never seen that before, pretty cool. Thank you again for your quick and great service. read more

I needed a new dentist and I'm happy I found Vero. They have all new, state of the art equipment. The dentists have years of experience. I learned more about what cleaning, pictures, and X-rays tell about my teeth, gums, and roots than I've seen at other offices. If you're just ok with your current dentist, give Vero a try. read more

I wanted to love this place and Dr. Johnson was great. That being said, please call your insurance before going as their billing department said my children were covered for cleaning, fluoride, and x-rays. Two months later they sent us a large bill and suddenly said it wasn't covered. Unfortunately we won't be returning and would not recommend them to others. read more

Dr. Giuseffi gave me the relief I've been needing for months. I was having horrible night sweats every night, visited many doctors and couldn't find the issue. I already had terrible TMJ and Dr. Giuseffi set me up with botox and a nightguard. In one night, my night sweats were gone and have never returned. I was actually suffering from sleep apnea that developed from the TMJ and improper jaw placement. I'm happily sleeping through the night now. Thanks Dr. G! read more

They don't describe their procedures when booking, they don't make it clear what you're in for. I've gone here three times, and my mouth is raw afterwards, they are rough! But it gets worse, the hygienist and front desk person calls and texts you all day trying to get you to come early even after you say no, but don't expect flexibility from them either lol, I missed their 24 hour window by seven minutes and got charged $75 because I asked them to describe the procedure, I guess that's what I needed to never come back here. They interchange the dentist, so don't expect to keep a certain one, the cavities I've had filled here were roughshod and my mouth was very sore... but probably the most ridiculous is they over charged me by $125 and refunded me but I had to call them to identify that or they probably wouldn't have refunded (this was 6 weeks post procedure lol! I noticed on my insurance that it should have been covered) had to call twice to actually get the check mailed. Last thing I want to do is get anyone fired so I don't like personal attacks but one hygienist complained to me the entire time, in great detail about how tired they were and how I needed X-rays (I didn't) I am on periodontal watch so I'm there every 4 months, they said they weren't going to do the full cleaning because "I'm fine she's seen way worse." She said I didn't even need that cleaning but yet came at my mouth very aggressively. I'm telling you it seems nice cause they have a fridge of waters lmao but look elsewhere. Most of these reviews are of emergency dental procedures which makes sense everyone calls around and these people still have available slots. If dentists on pearl weren't so booked out all the time I'd go back there. read more

I was visiting for two weeks from out of town, and right at the start of my trip I started having terrible tooth pain. I have some family in Denver that recommended Vero Dental, and they were able to get me into the office the following day. I saw Dr. Squilla who quickly identified the problem and was able to get me all fixed up that same visit, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip pain free!! Wow! Navigating the cottage industry of emergency dental services is a challenge. My experience in the past with some dentists has been a struggle. A struggle no more! Doctor G and his incredible staff at Vero Dental are absolute pros. Period. Having a upper wisdom crown break off after a Totinos pizza adventure I was in dire straights...on my 10th wedding anniversary no less. After reaching out to over 12 dentists we found Vero Dental. Took me in at the last minute and what an experience. Doc G and his staff were welcoming and kind. No one likes going to the dentist. These angels made me not want to leave. The extraction was challenging. 3 roots and not much tooth material to get a purchase on. I was numbed comfortably within minutes. Doc G's pleasant demeanor and sense of humor put me right at ease. This medical procedure was more of an elegant dance between the good Doctor and his assistant. I apologize for not remembering her name. Suction, water, soothing banter and just feeling that these folks enjoy what they do and are friggin good at it. The only pain I experienced was 2hrs later when the local wore off. Popped some Advil and here I am 2 days later and I have almost forgotten I had the procedure. Don't stop what you are doing. Your business model is the winning recipe for success. Talent mixed with incredible execution. We even received a wonderful follow-up correspondence that was personal....not canned. Bravo people.....bravo. read more

Can't recommend this place enough. I chipped a tooth one night and they saw me first thing the next morning and fixed it so fast. Dr. Johnson and her team were very reassuring and professional. They put me at ease right away. It was a front tooth issue so obviously I was quite stressed. They fixed it and it looks exactly like it did before. Can't tell the difference. Ill be looking for a new dentist after my last visit. The hygienist was not very nice that I saw. I kept on holding up my hand letter her know that I was in pain when she was drilling into my mouth. The least she could have done was offer some Novocain, and she would not listen. She constantly complained that she had to work on my teeth and had nothing nice to say for the whole hour I was getting my teeth cleaned. Someone should have trained her to treat her clients with a little more respect. I really did not want to leave a bad review but on top of all the disrespect that I received from her I got a nice surprise bill on the way out. Treat your clients a little better next time. New to the neighborhood, I needed a dentist that worked with my schedule (I work until ~6 PM). I also needed a dentist which actually listened to my concerns and would take the time to explain what they were doing, looking for, and genuinely cared about the health of my teeth. Dr. Johnson and the Vero team did all of that and went above and beyond to calm my dentist-related anxiety by answering all of the seemingly random questions I had. The facility itself is brand new with brand new equipment. I really enjoyed having a ceiling-mounted TV to pass the time while getting my teeth cleaned. Also, having a second screen was helpful so I could see my x-rays and photos. Both doctors at Vero appear to have strong CV's, so I think you can't go wrong if you try these folks out. Moved to Denver from NY a few months back and have had the same dentist my entire life. I had not gone in years because I developed an aversion after needing so much work as a kid (fillings). Went to Vero and had some scans done and of course, I need a root canal and 2 more fillings. Nervous,anxious, expecting the worst with pain and all that. COMPLETELY UNWARRANTED! Dr G. and the staff at Vero were EXCELLENT! Explained everything and took care of me with very little discomfort or pain. I was laughing in the chair (not because of gas or anything). Vero Dental was by far the best experience I've had at a dental office. Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and professional. I had an accident which left me with a chipped tooth and they were able to get me in within 24 hours as a new patient. The office was clean and everyone was wearing a mask. Dr. Johnson was friendly and personable, and did an amazing job fixing the chip in my tooth. I was very anxious that my smile wouldn't ever be the same, but now you can't even tell!
