I called Greg again after he helped me on a previous occasion because I wanted to get a lock change. He talked to me about my different options and I decided to go with a new deadbolt. He installed a Nest deadbolt and I love the job he did. I feel more secured thanks to this lock. He was informative explained everything to me. read more

LocKeyTech Locksmith - Nest Lock installed on my door by Greg. This is a great company! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Greg responded the same day to rekey 4 locks in our unit. The job ended up being more complex than initially thought but Greg and his team stayed the extra time to get it done and didn't charge extra for it. Highly recommended! read more

Greg was absolutely wonderful. We needed to change all the exterior locks on our house asap, which was... many locks and a lot of work! Two of the doors in question are also damaged, which made it not just a big job but a difficult one. He got back to me immediately to schedule an appointment to come take a look, and was communicative on the day of about when he'd arrive, which was right on time! Because of the scale and difficulty of the job (very old house, ancient locks, two doors in need of hinge repair!) I agreed to letting him take a look in person before giving me an estimate, and his price turned out to be extremely reasonable. Far less than the other companies that Yelp messaged on my behalf who were all blindly claiming they'd have the lowest rates. I'm very glad I stuck with my instincts choosing LocKeyTech off the reviews and Greg's honesty that he'd need to see it first. Greg was polite, efficient, had many lock/knob sizes and styles with him, did beautiful careful work and cleaned up after himself. He also re-hung our screen door (which didn't even need a lock!) so that it wasn't scraping and getting stuck on the stoop anymore, and was patient with my older mother labeling and showing her which key was which for every door in the house and how the new locks worked. Thank you, Greg! We'll definitely be going with LocKeyTech for any locksmith needs we have in the future. read more

Called and a Tech was there within an hour. They spent nearly 90 minutes drilling and installing my new Smart Lock. Everything worked out perfectly. Would highly recommend for all deadbolt installs, especially smart locks. read more

Greg and his partner from LocKeyTech did an amazing job on a very tricky and tough installation of a smart lock on our metal door which was incompatible with the lock due to the door's construction and an old style bolt lock that was previously in place. From a brief phone call and a few photos, Greg immediately understood the issues and came on time and with the right parts to make the lock work, which took a fair amount of creativity and labor. Greg and his partner were very professional, courteous and conscientious -- continually vacuuming debris as they were cutting and installing. Even after successfully installing the unit, they disassembled several times and made adjustments to ensure the unit was in place and operating perfectly. I wish all service providers were as professional, courteous, conscientious and competent as them! Bravo!! read more

Rich and Greg did a fantastic job installing a smart lock on a steel door. They went above and beyond to ensure it would look good, from coming by for a free consultation, to recommending a lock that works with my door, and even customizing plates to match the color of the lock. Very happy with their work. read more

Where do I even begin? Gregory and Rich from LocKeyTech Locksmith are literal angels sent from heaven. I locked myself out of my apartment on a Saturday morning for what was the third time in the last 12 months, so I decided once and for all that I would get a smart lock installed so that I could refrain from having to use keys. I reached out to LocKeyTech and Gregory immediately responded and arrived at my place within 45 minutes. He first assisted me with the lockout by opening my doors (there were two of them). I then explained to him that I planned on purchasing a smart lock and he told me that he would be able to assist me with installing the smart lock the same day. We then began discussing the different smart lock options. I informed him that I was considering purchasing a Kwikset smart lock and had received a quote earlier in the day from another locksmith who said he only worked with Yale x Nest locks and would charge me $900 for the installation (parts and labor), Gregory told me that the Yale x Nest smart lock is a really good lock and that he would give me a better deal on the installation if I decided to go with the Yale lock. Because I had already been considering installing Google Nest products in my apartment (e.g. Thermostat, Doorbell, etc.), I decided to go ahead with the Yale x Nest lock. Gregory left and returned to my apartment within a couple hours and got to work. It took him about 30 min to physically install the lock. However, I was struggling with the Nest Connect installation. I was having major connectivity issues and Gregory proceeded to assist me. The app wasn't working and we both were struggling. Gregory ended up calling his colleague Rich, who came over. All three of us were troubleshooting the Yale lock and Nest Connect app, but nothing was working. I actually felt bad and wanted to give up and figure it out later because Gregory was able to configure the Yale lock so that I could still manually use it (despite not being able to connect it to the Nest so that I could control the lock using the Nest app). But neither Rich or Gregory would give up and instead were committed to helping me and ensuring that the lock was properly installed. It took a total of three (3) hours before they were able to finally install the lock and the app on my phone correctly. I can't tell you how GRATEFUL I am for their patience and diligence. I know this is an extremely long review but it speaks to the amount of time, effort and dedication to doing a great job that both Gregory and Rich showed. I am so appreciative of them and would encourage anyone and everyone to reach out to LocKeyTech for all of your locksmith needs! read more

Fantastic customer service! I locked my bedroom door (with my cat inside, oops!) and all of the other places I called said they could get someone out in 3-4 hours (poor kitty!) but when I called LocKey they said they could have someone out in about 30 mins! Sure enough, Greg called a little while later to confirm the address and then again upon arrival. He worked efficiently and was able to get the door open quickly. Great communication, the reasonable prices (the best actually, out of the 7 or so places I called), & quick service. I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon, but glad to have a number to call when I do. :) read more

Greg answered my call directly. He arrived in less than 15 minutes! During COVID, arrived already in a mask and kept appropriate distance when possible. He was very nice and patient. Professional, but down to earth. I was just thrilled to find someone so quick & responsive. Not sure about going rates for locksmith services, so can't comment on price/value (usually research price/value heavily before choosing a professional, but we needed someone asap...). read more

They have the BEST REASONABLE PRICE !! I called different companies and asked for the estimate but they gave the best deal and the price they told me on the phone came out exactly same. Having Greg come out was a little on the expensive side, but on the other hand it was 1am and I'd just gotten off a flight from Texas with my 6-month-old and realized I'd left my keys. Literally a nightmare scenario but Greg showed up within 30 minutes and had me inside my apartment in another 5 WITHOUT having to drill and replace the lock.
