Today was my first time locked out of ANYTHING and I wanted to cry. I got back from a run and discovered my spare house key (typically hidden in the backyard) was gone! My roommate accidentally took it with her and she was all the way in Texas. I called a local locksmith but he was just about to close and his guy already had an appointment but he gladly recommended Christine at Lock Pixies. She sacrificed dinner plans with friends to come and help me and I am so so grateful. When she got to my house, she tried the least destructive means to open the door first and only when that wasn't working did she switch to a drill. When she was finished, she offered to replace the lock for me (which I took her up on). Highly recommend!! Getting locked out of your house is not fun but Christine's help made it ok. read more

Came when she said she would, she was competent, pleasant, informative... It's not at all her fault I hope to never use her again.

Wasted my time. Was locked out of the house. Got their pretty unhelpful operator: ME: "Can you let me know how much this will cost and how it's going to happen?" (the latter part meaning if I need to wait in a particular place, can they do it without breaking the current lock, how long it will take, etc.) HER: (Long pause) "...how it's going to happen?" Okay, so I ask the long version of the question, get answers and hear that she'll be calling me back. She calls back to tell me that I should be hearing from the guy in the field right away, and that he would surely be able to come immediately. A) Why not just have him call me? B) It was not right away. When I called back half an hour later to let her know I had not been contacted by the guy in the field, there was no recognition that half an hour had passed, and I was told to call him. Okay. When I did, he suggested that he would come in an hour and a half. Called another agency. read more

Christine called me back within an hour. She did a great job and the lock works better than it has in the past 27 years. I will recommend her often. read more

Lock pixies to the rescue. Our front door lock was jammed and we couldn't get the door open. We called 2 other 5 star yelp locksmiths and neither returned our calls despite the web sites saying they were open. Lock Pixies' Christine answered right away and was on time for the appointment we set up. She stayed until after 5 on a freezing Friday night, solved our door problem and made us three new keys. Highly recommend! read more
