Service here is terrible . I only go there if I'm searching for parts. Can't stand the snobbery

Mixed feelings about this place. Came here to purchase a Glock and some ammo. Initially we were helped out by Elliot who took the time and had the patience to explain things to us. He showed us a couple alternatives, however, we settled with what we initial came for. Post background check, I went in to pick up the gun and the guy that was retrieving my order was somewhat unprofessional. To be clear, it wasn't towards me but towards the original employee that helped us out. Apparently, it's acceptable at this place to name call/bad mouth your fellow colleagues for simple mistakes. It seemed to be some technicality with the paperwork that Elliot had initially filled out...specifically a post-it note/paperclip taped on the wrong page. Whatever the case may be, if employees don't respect one another, safe to assume they have no respect for the average customer. If it weren't for Elliots initial service, I'd rate this place much lower. read more

First Time Customer, Highly Satisfied ! First Impression From Outside; Small Building, Clean, & Easy To Spot . Once Inside, They Had The Most Staff & Inventory I've Seen Than Any Other Shop That Size . Staff Members Were Quick To Greet & Assist, Answered My Few Questions Respectfully, etc. Honestly They Felt More Like Relatives Than Coworkers How Smoothly They All Cooperated To Help Me & The Few Others There While Still Cracking Jokes And Enjoying Their Work Day . With The Deal I Got I Will Most Definitely Come Back, They Have So Many Choices In Their Displays So I'm Sure I'll Find Another Sweet Deal . They Definitely Gave Me A Fair Price On A New Item, I Can Only Imagine How Fair The Used Pricing Is . The Only Downside In My Case Is That I Stay One Freeway Exit From Mt. This place seems to be stocked with the higher end items, but I have used them for receiving ordered product and they do the transfer. $45.00 is what they charge for that plus the background, which, I understand they don't profit on. Just stings when you think you find a good deal on-line and then you have to pay that too, and again, I understand you have to make a buck. See, I AM giving 4 stars. They make you use their pens. Supposedly someone used the wrong pen once and it smudged or something like that. Again, I understand once bitten twice shy but my pen worked for 21 years in an "official" capacity, so it was just funny someone telling me my pen wasn't good enough. I retired, my pen did not. lol The guys I've dealt with there have all been very cordial and nice and know what they're doing. The owner (sorry not trying to give you a bad wrap) seems a little uptight. I guess that's the stress of owning a business and people using the wrong pens. Again, not bagging, just OBSERVING. ;-) Observations haven't kept me from being a return customer. Thanks guys! read more

Horrible customer service both in-store and online orders. Online orders take 2 weeks to arrive with false descriptions, and charge 15%+ fee. Definitely much better options for ammo, pistols, rifles, and shotguns with better service than this place. read more

I appreciate the policy they have running during the covid pandemic. As soon as I enter the building, they have an employee by the door to control the traffic coming in and out for social distancing. The employee asks you to pull your mask down for a second and face their camera for security reasons. I mean you're walking into a gun store so expect to comply and follow the rules if you want to be a law abiding citizen. Everyone is very help full and take initiative in interaction to help you find what you need. I found a handgun online I fell in love with and useful for competition. This particular one had a sister so I had a chance to buy a dual set. One black steel and the other stainless steel. Unfortunately when I got there one was already sold so I got my hands on a black steel Walther PPQ Q5 Match. Still wish I had that other one to match this beauty that I purchased. It came with 3 magazines, a loader, and a few attachments. When ready to purchase, I provided a valid driver's license, filled out the paperwork for a background check, and it only took 2 days to approve. They left me a voicemail to come in and all I had to show was my receipt and DL. I'm glad to do business with them and I'll continue to do it again if I see something nice. Please make sure all personal info is accurate before submitting for a background check. If anything is off or questionable to the employee, they can refuse service because they take their job seriously. Come in prepared and I encourage people to make smart choices to uphold your 2nd amendment rights along with our laws. read more

We parked in front of the store at 3:26 on Sunday, October 3, 2021. As we were getting out of the car a large gruff man came out of the store and asked if we were coming there. We said yes and he said they were closing not because there are no customers. The sign on the door said they are open until 4:00 pm on Sunday. I thought we were customers but actually he is right. We're not customers ever again. Call before you go cause they randomly close and you'll do better to go to one of the other, of hundreds of gun stores. We did. came in looking for a holster. when i entered a staff member was helping another customer with holsters, i was standing next to them looking at holsters. Staff member keeps giving me weird looks and staring, so i spoke to him. asked him if he had any compact holsters for .25 acp, .380 acp or smaller soft bodied for pocket carry. he said that i should just look online and sent me out of the store without even bothering to help or letting me look at the inventory he was standing in the way of. wont be coming back, bass pro shop has better service than this. I had a shotgun drawn on me last night while doing food delivery, i needed to get a holster so I can carry and protect myself safely, and these dudes wouldn't even give the time. read more

First of all, if you want to get your gun and do not have a ccw license please be there before 5:45pm to run your FBI background. Got my first gun from this location and got assisted by Leo, I knew exactly what I wanted without looking else where. Do your research before you head to the gunstore to eliminate the length of time and do not be that guy that touches every gun.. Stick to your top 3 choice and call in advance to make sure it is in stock.. Leo assisted me well and quick.. I am sure he has alot of knowledge but didn't test it because I wanted to get out of there. Will definitely get my future guns here also base on availability. Alot of choices and their price is reasonable.. Call ahead and plan your visit and everything will work fine.. I found other places with a cheaper price but no stock. Good Luck! read more

I've bought three pistols here. Mediocre service each time. Each time I swear I won't go back. I won't next time. Today, bought a pistol on a whim, after payment he didn't even say thank you. Made me go search for a generic cleaning kit. I felt like I was an inconvenience. When I wanted to compare two pistols, I felt like a douche. At one point the salesman ignored me in the middle of a question and started talking to another employee. That being said, there are a few nice people working there. I hate to give bad reviews but the salesman really worked my nerves, so here I am posting. First off, the store is great. Good selections and competitive pricing even with online stores that I have seen. I don't recall the salesman name, just remember that he was the only Asian guy working that day. Either he had something against me or he flat out is worst salesman ever (whatever the case, he really needs a new career change), you just don't flat out act like an a-hole to a customer. Especially someone new to the AR gun world. Every question that I asked from grip styles to safety switches i received a condescending reply. I need his crappy attitude. If I could give a half of a star I would!!! I came into this store with the intention of spending 1000's of dollars, but as soon as I walked into the store I could feel the negative, vibes! I am an ex-tattooist, so I am covered in tattoos, hands, throat, even my fave. NONE OF WHICH ARE GANG OR CRIMINALLY RELATED AT ALL! I was treated like a window shopping, punk, thug, from the moment I walked in!! It took about 20-25 min to get someone to even notice me or ask if I needed assistance. Once someone did ask if I needed help, I was told to "hold on, I'll be right back!" Fast forward 10 more minutes, and the guy came back and said "so what do want, or can afford?" AFFORD???? To buy your store if I wanted to!!! I asked to see a specific Glock and was refused and offered no explanation!! When I asked why, j was told, "that is a very expensive gun!" At that point, that is when I took the $7000 I was ready to spend and went to Spurlock's. (check my review for them) I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN! Like I said. I prefer Spurlock's now. Where I spend roughly $1200-$2000 a week, but even if you don't go there, PLEASE go anywhere else for any of your firearm needs! read more

Not sure why all the hate on the reviews. I usually like to try a business first before listening especially since they are local to me and my purchase isn't large. This is my second visit and so far so good. I was asked if I needed help quickly. There were other newbies in there just looking around and others who were lost. Who doesn't get tired of answering the same old questions. People should do a little research on weapons before going into a place anyways. If you're worried about race religion creed or equality as a mindset then you're going to always feel a type of way. Especially in a gun store. Either way, give it a chance they aren't lacking business and seemed very helpful. read more

I had an extremely unpleasant experience here. The staff are incredibly rude and unbelievably arrogant. When I asked to look at a gun the employee helping me laughed and refused to show it to me because of the price. I'm not sure how this shop ever sells anything if this is how they treat their customers. I walked in looking to buy two pistols, and left looking for a different shop to buy from. The store is small and typically that would be a good thing because it allows more interaction. This place is the opposite. While the selection is pretty good, the staff are - like other reviews - arrogant and dismissive. The last time I went the prices were higher than a couple other places I go to and the lady at the register was rude and condescending. I had a gun, I purchased from Budsgunshop.com shipped to them for pickup. My experience was NOT great. I'm a 51 year old woman who has purchased several guns in my life. I come from 4 generations of veterans including my son, and my father who is a professional hunter. I was treated like I was a newbie. Not to mention the amount of what I saw as, "GANG BANGER" type individuals in the store. I suggest going to DNA Tactical in Henderson.
