Good food overall and good service! Only thing that I've ever been disappointed by was the Brussel sprout salad.

I've been to local table many times prior to the pandemic and missed them terribly during the stay-at-home orders. I'm glad to see that they are going strong since reopening. The service and food has always been second to none. That's what you really expect when dining out. My latest visit led me to leave this review as I appreciate how well-kept the establishment is and our waitress, Brea, was super professional, attentive, and went out of her way to make our visit so much more enjoyable. I went to the one located in Bridgeland on Fry road but it doesn't look like it's quite listed on the google reviews yet. Food was awesome but the service was OUTSTANDING!! We really enjoyed our waiters, the bartender Craig and another waiter assisted us. It felt like VIP treatment :) I'll definitely be back. I had the gyro pita, it was very good. This place has a great atmosphere. Service is alright for a slightly busy brunch. The food is subpar compared to the prices. We started out with the goat cheese appetizer dip and it was pretty good. I got the southern chicken fried chicken.... do not get the southern chicken fried chicken. The name kind of throws it off. The breading was Panko and the whole thing was bland. I was hoping it would be a traditional southern fried chicken breading with the buttermilk, etc. but okay lol the garlic mash potatoes were watery and lacks any essence of garlic or simple mash potatoe flavor. I could have made this at home with a ton more seasoning. Over all my, dish was bland. My friends dishes were better and they enjoyed theirs. I'll give this place another try but I'll try to be more knowledgeable about what I'm ordering! read more

I've been going to Local Table since they opened the Bridgeland location. They started off strong and I so wanted to love them. I'm thankful there's a place close by to eat but feel the service has really declined. I was pinched for time and walked over to Local Table for a quick desert with my young son. They sat us outside, which was great because it was a nice day. They had a game on and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The man we were seated by was incredibly vulgar and shouting obscenities while watching the game. The waitress passed by us several times, looked as us blankly and ignored us. We waited for 15 minutes without menus or any acknowledgement from any staff all the while they continuously served the very inebriated individual beside us. Eventually we had to leave. Several weeks later, we went back and were turned away at the door, even though clearly they had open tables. I can only assume they are understaffed. Won't be going back. read more

Have been here several times and the food is always excellent. Servers are helpful and when mistakes are made by kitchen/server, they respond quickly to address the issue. Enough variety to satisfy all sorts of dietary preferences. The goat cheese appetizer is outstanding! read more

I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars. The food is very good and the meatloaf and chicken fried chicken were especially good. But, we had some issues. I made a reservation for 6 people given that we were driving 45 minutes to meet friends who live near the restaurant and were dining with two young kids. When I got there, I was told by the owner "we don't take reservations". When I showed the owner and staff the email confirming our reservations through Yelp he explained that a reservation only puts you near the front of line when you get there. The line was at least 30 people deep. To me, you should not take reservations if you are not going to honor them. The owner did try to accommodate us with a free appetizer, the goat cheese, which was excellent. The restaurant is very noisy and despite sitting in the back, we had trouble talking to our friends. Our waitress was nice and attentive, but appeared a little inexperienced. Our kids enjoyed their dinners and loved the free cookie. If in the area, we might try it again, but we certainly wouldn't travel to eat there. read more

Food and service is hit or miss sometimes good sometimes not. Also, libations are VERY weak here. They want you to buy a lot of drinks, which equates to a lot of calories. As one who doesn't drink, I like to have one and be done. Have tried a variety and they are weak. read more

Your actions were and are deplorable as evident by the response to my review. Get over yourself and learn to treat your patrons with more respect than you will ever deserve. Great expectations from good reviews for this restaurant. Was seated very quickly and food orders were placed. Got our coffee and they taste oxidized and brought it to the attention of our waitress Karen R. Asked if we could change out my husband's coffee she told us they are freshly brewed. She seems reluctant to do so but she brought it out anyway. Our food came out not too long afterwards by another guy who helped us to remove the old coffee and asked if we needed anything else. Throughout the whole meal waitress was walking back and forth didn't even notice that both of our coffee cups were empty. Only stopped by at the very end to see if we are done with our food. Refill our coffee one last time and I asked for the check. Had the feeling that she wanted us to be out of the restaurant asap. Ordered through door dash and am really disappointed. Ordered the gyro and fries. There was literally 3 strips of meat in the entire gyro for $13!! That's insane. I also ordered the humus and it had an after taste of being burnt. Not really sure how that's possible. The tzatziki sauce was very warm and was unimpressive. Drink was $3 and wasn't even 20oz. i went back after a year and was disappointed. although the food came out quite fast, it was very undercooked. fries were raw and unseasoned, spinach dip was flavorless, (added heaps of salt and pepper to make it somewhat decent) & the tortilla soup barely had any chicken in it. my girlfriend asked for a well done burger, and it was practically still mooing. also, the service felt more annoyed than helpful. since the food was kind of bland, we asked for condiments and didn't even get those. wouldn't recommend read more

So let me start by saying the restaurant is very modern and appealing to the eye! Our waitress was a sweetheart. Now for the food... well I had the kabob plate. First, it was overpriced in my opinion. $18 for vegetables that tasted like they came from a bag. And the chicken was literally seasoned with just salt and pepper. The rice bland as well. We ordered delivery through DoorDash: meatloaf, beef and chicken kebabs, a gyro, and a meatball pizza. The first three dinners were good, but the pizza was not what was ordered - it had both red peppers (which I loathe) and fresh jalapenos, neither of which were supposed to be there. Pretty well ruined my dinner there. Not DoorDash's fault - this was bad quality control at the restaurant, and at their prices they need to do better. read more

We all enjoyed the food here, however, the service let them down. We had a stroller with us for our 8 month old baby. Although it was easy for them to find us all a seat together and a space for the stroller, we were made to feel so uncomfortable and guilty about it from the moment we entered, as if it was a big problem for them when it wasn't. Such a shame, I have heard so many good things about this place and this was a huge let down for us. If anyone is planning on going with a small baby that is too small for a high chair yet, please think again. Obviously a car seat is not ideal to feed a baby in so that wasn't an option. read more

Excellent food. Restaurant is very nice and in a neat area. Had the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a mushroom sauce and it was amazing. Waitress wasn't very attentive but was nice.
