It was my first time at this location and I had a great experience! Our server, Zach, really took care of us well. So attentive, friendly, and welcoming. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed from the host, to the servers, to all staff. The food is good as always, with such generous portions. We went there around brunch hours, surprisingly, it wasn't packed. So it was a nice, easygoing environment. They didn't have the Brussels sprouts as a side option on the menu, but Zach made it happen.

"Worth the Wait: Good Vibes and Amazing Plates" 02-01-2026 Local Table is a chic, hip, and cool spot that serves a variety of delicious dishes with great customer service. It's kind of the perfect mix of fancy and casual, depending on your mood, you can come in dressed up or keep it comfy and still fit right in. I've visited several times and my experiences are always pleasant, but this was my first time coming on a Sunday afternoon. I came with my husband, my daughter, and her male friend, and whew... the place was ridiculously packed. When I checked in, the host told us the wait would be about 30-45 minutes. We were fine with that, and we ended up getting seated right at the 30-minute mark, which honestly isn't bad at all for a Sunday crowd. Customer service was great as always. I can't remember our server's name, but he was friendly and welcoming. He fell a little short on attentiveness at times, but overall we still had a great time. What really surprised me was how clean and well-kept the restaurant was, even with how packed it was. So shout-out to the team for staying on top of things and keeping everything organized. Now let's talk ambiance; the vibe was lively, upbeat, and full of energy. From the moment we walked in, there was laughter, nonstop chatter, and servers moving quickly, just good vibes all around. It feels neighborhood-friendly and warm like a local hangout, but it still gives upscale and chic vibes too. The food is always amazing: full of flavor and served piping hot. The only complaint came from my daughter with the beef on her kabob plate. It wasn't well done and was still pink inside when she cut into it. She didn't send it back; she just took it home and popped it in the oven for a few minutes to finish cooking it. She loved it and said that it was very flavorsome and mouthwatering and that the vegetables and rice tasted astoundingly delectable. Honestly, I do think servers should ask customers how they want their beef cooked, because not everyone likes medium-rare meat. Some people (like my daughter) prefer it well done. Overall, Local Table is the spot for a Sunday afternoon if you're looking for high energy, a vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food. They also have healthy, vegan-friendly options, which I love. I highly recommend it. Just a heads-up: parking can be limited in the front, but there's plenty of parking behind the building. Great spot if you're in the Cypress area. Parking was a pain, as it always is in these "town center" type places. So plan on dropping off your crew and taking a little stroll to get back. Loved the outdoor patio! It's dog-friendly, and I'm all about that as my pup travels with me everywhere (more flight miles than most people). It was super busy, full-packed when I went on a weeknight, but even so, our service was good. They brought water for the pup as well. Drinks were great. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. We had the Briar Patch Sour [Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Blackberry Puree, lime juice, Angostura Orange Bitters, lemon mint foam] and the Spicy Pineapple Margarita [Pineapple jalapeno infused Lunazul Blanco Tequila, pineapple juice, triple sec, house-made sour mix, agave nectar]. Could have easily drank more than one ;) We shared the Green Chile Shrimp Ceviche [Guacamole, cucumbers, homestyle tortilla chips, cilantro] to start. It was decent. Pull your chips out quick as they get soggy if not, and no one likes soggy chips! For dinner, I opted for the Honey Ginger-Glazed Salmon [Sustainable salmon, basmati lentil rice, turmeric roasted, seasonal vegetables, garlic toast], and it was also good. So yeah - I like this spot! And if I found myself in the area - I'd probably go again.

Came in with my friend on a Monday around mid-day. They were pretty busy, so we decided to sit by the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive the entire time despite how busy she was. My friend and I both ordered the strawberry spritz and it was very refreshing, not overly sweet at all. As an entree I ordered the lemon pasta with shrimp, it was good the flavor of the pasta was nice and the shrimp was cooked well. I'm not a fan of capers, so I should've asked for them to be removed but other than that the pasta was very good. My friend ordered the gyro with fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Overall, I'd say this is a good casual lunch spot.

I should have written a review for this place a long time ago because I'm definitely a regular! Especially on a pretty day -- sitting outside is such a vibe. Let me start with the food and the menu -- always on point. It's simple, yet somehow so satisfying every single time. The drinks are great, with a really good variety at the bar. And I have yet to encounter a rude member of the waitstaff there. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which is hard to find. I'm a regular and will continue to be as long as they keep running things the way they do. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants good food, good service, and decent prices.

Might have to park around back as there is limited parking up front. Place is clean, staff are friendly. We ordered the kebab plate and spinach dip, and lemon pasta. First of all the pasta was unexpectedly spicy, wasn't a fan. The bf had the kebab plate which he said was just ok as the food was lacking flavor/seasoning. The spinach dip was good and they gave extra chips. I would give this place another try and check out other things on the menu.

I found this place on a whim while looking for a place to stop and grab a bite on the way back to Austin. I'm so happy I found it because everything was great! We tried the Ahi Tuna Tostadas (special menu), Ahi Tuna Tartare, soup of the day (Tortilla Soup), Lemon Pasta with shrimp and the Asian Chicken Salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and my brother said the Asian Chicken Salad was the best he's ever had. Portion sizes were on the smaller side of the scale. Our server was very nice and patient with us (2 of the 3 of us have severe food allergies). There were a few TVs, so if you're a sport watcher, that's an option for you. I really appreciated the openness and brightness of the space. Hopefully they'll venture out into central Texas!

Totally loved the experience ! The food tasted so good! The staff was kind and smiling. The ambiance was easy and comfortable. Yay for an overall great time! This was about mid afternoon. They placed the two of us on a two seater booth. So cushy! Promptly served with water and menus. We started the southerquesadillas: they are a great appetizer to share ! Crispy skin but not crumbling, with a scoop of avocado. Yum! Next, we chose the Mediterranean fusion bowl. So well balanced with a bit of basmati rice, a bit of brown rice, brussels sprouts, squash, guacamole, beans, topped with aioli sauce ! Really really feels good, tasty and fulfilling. Also, picked the shrimp tacos with a side of black beans. And their side of fries... Just order it. Yes, just because. Crispyyyy, almost like double fried ? Great portion to share or not. Delicious. Really satisfying. They have TV's above their bars to watch the games if you wish. It's super family friendly, group friendly, date or solo. Accommodating for all! And because it was our first time, we were given a quick presentation of the business. Local Bar across the street is theirs too! How cool. Hope they'll open a location in town! Otherwise, I'll be back.

In short Local Table and Local Bar (across the street) are absolute wins for Cypress. If you're coming from North Cypress, know both are located in Bridgeland, so plan for the drive, but there's plenty to do once you're in the area, Bridgeland being the beauty that it is. Anyways, I'd taken a break from Local Table, after moving further away, but thought it'd be a quieter option to watch the Texans game last night. It delivered on providing a quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to the bar. Plus, their bar on this night was spacious and relatively empty. Yes, there were more children and couples, but it's hard to beat a peaceful game experience sitting at the open air bar. The food and drink were solid overall. While I think the cucumber basil gimlet needs a bit more work, the beer is cold, my grilled chicken pesto sandwich was delicious (when I got the perfect bite of red pepper, savory cheese, pesto, and grilled chicken slathered in olive oil (or maybe that was the pesto)), and I'm glad I did not skip the chocolate lava cake. It's as nostalgic as the Chili's version, but all grown up. I never thought I'd say this but I'd definitely consider them for another peaceful game night experience this season!

I did not think I was going to love this place as much as I did. I ordered the pedal club cocktail and the honey glazed salmon and all I gotta say is wowowowow. The drink is was phenomenal; perfectly made. The salmon though? mouthwatering. Also, the service was exceptional. I forgot our servers name (maybe Adrian or Carlos) but he was great. Loved him! I would 100% recommend coming here. Can't wait to come back!

I loved this place! There were so many options on the menu, so I am excited to come back many more times. I had the chicken and waffles and thought it was delicious! The waffle was nice and soft, not hard like many other waffles I have tried. The chicken tenders were slightly small in my opinion. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere. Edit: I recently came back here and had the strawberry champagne margarita and it was to die for! I hope they make this drink a regular part of the menu. Also, Nikki our waitress, was incredible!

Had a great lunch it was Fabulous!!!! Our waiter Blake G. was very attentive, friendly and checked several times to make sure we were happy. His manager Mike did a great job with kitchen, staff and restaurant. It was very clean and had great atmosphere. You should definitely try the out.

Came out for the first time on a Friday night with my husband and 4 kids. Super busy but we were able to reserve a table on the way there. Abraham was our waiter and went above and beyond the entire meal. He was very attentive, keeping our drinks full and even expediting another entree when my 11-year-old was hungrier than usual. I ordered the fire roasted brussels sprouts to go and when Oriana G. rang me up they came out to $13.59. I was just in the establishment for the very FIRST time on Friday, 2.3.2023 and the brussels sprouts were $9.00. Unbeknowst to me the price changed in the system but not as yet on the physical Delivery& take out menu(s) that was clearly still at the to go register for $9.00 and the online menu clearly still states that they are $9.00. Oriana the server asked Michael Miller the general manger of the establishment and he says to her that the system changed on Monday 2.6.23..I do NOT know that and it is NOT my fault. When he noticed the menus were still there he begin to remove them and called someone else over I guess to remove them that may have been throughout the establishment. They had NOT been removed the menus that were still clearly at the to go register. I showed him the menu and asked him so because you have NOT removed the menus you will not honor the price on the menu and he said NO the system says $12.00. Again, I stated that is NOT my fault and he still said NO. He was VERY RUDE and NASTY and had other employees look on like WOW!! Oriana was RUDE as well! I WILL NEVER go to that ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!! Nor will I refer ANOYONE to that ESTABLISHMENT!! And to top it off the brussels sprouts were greasy as heck and MADE me SICK!!!! A WASTE of my LUNCH TIME and MY MONEY$$!!!!! read more

Honestly, we were concerned moving from Katy where there were more restaurant choices, but once we realized Local Table / Local Bar were opening nearby, we relaxed. It's our favorite go-to for many reasons. First and foremost, the food is always great. Consistent high quality, fresh ingredients and variety. Also, the management and staff are friendly and welcoming. We have gotten to know many of the waitstaff (as we go OFTEN) but we no longer have favorites -they are all super attentive, courteous, and helpful. Finally, the food is reasonably priced for big portions. They have it all figured out. read more

Tried Local Table today for the first time. Had to do take-out due to COVID shut down. Great take-out menu and great food! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Excellent atmosphere. Drinks were spot on. Bartenders were attentive but not pushy. They were there when we needed a refill. Decor is appealing, and food (we just bought appetizers) was very good. This area needed a restaurant like this. We have been to Local table and Local Bar near Cinco Ranch, and never been disappointed. Keep it up!! read more

Very nice and open atmosphere. The feel they were going for was fresh and the food definitely looked and tasted it. The food was delicious. I ordered the meatloaf which was so moist and seasoned very well. It came with French green beans (not of fan of green beans) which lightly sautéed and delicious. The mashed potatoes had a creamy poblano mushroom sauce which was very different than you typical gravy but I liked it. Took me a few bites to decide but in the end was pretty good. Nothing was over salted and was seasoned well. My dad ordered the lemon pasta with chicken and he said it was very tasty and the chicken was moist. Will definitely be coming back. read more

My all time favorite restaurant is Hungry's. Their food choices are so refreshing. I suggest the Orzo Pasta salad w/ chicken. The jalapeño hummus with cucumber and pita bread. I have always wanted one out here in our community. To find out while eating here that they are the same family (as Hungry's) and a lot of the same menu items... I was excited like a kid getting a new puppy! I'm going to become a regular there, I just know it. Family friendly atmosphere. Not loud and able to hear your table mates speaking to you. Food is wonderful and the service was on point. So glad they are here in Cypress! read more

Nice place but just opened and not a lot of choices on the menu...waiter wasn't available and I had to look around few times to get his attention...however the manager came to the table frequently and explained they were working out some quirks and will have bigger menu selection soon...that spoke volumes in the customer service department and I will be back to try out the new menu items when they roll them out! read more

This was probably one of my favorite restaurants I've had ever eaten in my life. I had many dishes on the menu and there's not one that I didn't like. The service is incredible and the owner is so friendly, every time we make a visit he always greets us. As I said I really enjoy everything they have there but my favorite is the Philly cheesesteak, when you take a bite it just melts in your mouth, the beef is very well seasoned, I'd wish I know what's in it. So if you're looking for a spot to eat, I'd highly recommend local table. read more

So happy to have Local Table in Cypress! Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a friend today. Hostess greeted us immediately and took us to a table near the back - high top table - comfortable bench seat on one side and barstool (with back) on other. Table had a cute little vase with a flower. Waiter was good - he greeted us, took our drink order (tea and a soda) but then I noticed the handmade lemonade's and told him I should have ordered one of them instead. We ordered the baked goat cheese (with candied nuts and apricots) served with garlic toasted bread. It was very tasty. The waiter ended up bringing me a strawberry lemonade (on the house) - it was soooo good and pretty. My friend and I split the Sonoma Chicken Salad with side of orzo. It was yummy. The chicken salad wasn't saturated in mayo and it was all white meat. Orzo/black bean side was nice compliment to the sandwich (instead of fries). If we hadn't filled up with the appetizer and sandwich we would have ordered the bread pudding (people near us had it and it looked amazing). All food portions were more than enough. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very comfortable, modern rustic and welcoming. Love the CTX wall. The bar area is cool too. Can't wait to return! read more

This was my first time ordering to go at Local Table- Cypress location and the service for to go orders was great the staff was super friendly and I had no issues with my order. I get home and the food was so delicious. My super picky family had nothing but good things to say about the taste of the food. Love the food and atmosphere here. Disappointed with the manager on duty. We sat at the bar outside and were told that only three people are allowed at the bar. Mind you the tables outside we're closer together than where we were compared to the other couple at the bar. Manager decided to yell at the bartenders for allowing it. I'm not sure reserving a table will help much. We've done it for several weeks in a row and they never seemed to care. We never understood why it didn't seem to matter. But tonight we stood at the hostess stand while the primary hostess told the girl working the computer to give up the priority seating because it wasn't 7. It was 5 minutes until 7. We stood there listening to this exchange then when asked, told them our name and reservation and they realized that it was for us. Awkward. We agreed to take a table outside. I get it. You're popular. But why take reservations? You are just setting yourself up to fail. Had you not taken reservations, we'd come in like everyone else and told you we'd take our usual table outside (same as when you lost our reservations every single time) and there wouldn't be any disappointment. read more

When asked which bites I would like I kindly reminded the gentleman I ordered Brownie AND Banana bites. I was asked several times whether or not I wanted the banana bites. After clarifying multiple times I indeed wanted BOTH the brownie bites AND banana bites, I was informed they no longer make the banana bites. I was so dumbfounded at having heard this. I wondered "What service is this??!! Am I being punked??" At this point I wanted NOTHING to do with this store or it's products! In fact, why would I even consider picking up the order? I UBERed for a reason!! I asked how I could get my money back (mind you I've NEVER been in this predicament with an UBER order). The gentleman explained he would refund me and I should see the money in my account in 2-3 business days. I have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and consistently had positive experiences. However, during my most recent visit, it became evident that there may be new management in place, as the quality of both the food and service has noticeably declined. I went for brunch, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated right next to the kitchen, where the entire staff seemed to stand and watch us, making the experience uncomfortable. When we asked to move, our request was denied due to their table assignment policy, which prioritizes specific servers. During our meal, a glass was accidentally broken behind us, and we were struck by glass and water. Shockingly, the drinks that were being carried at the time were still served to us, raising concerns about safety as they could have contained glass shards. When the manager came over to address the situation, it was clear that he was frustrated and disinterested in resolving the issue, offering minimal acknowledgment of the restaurant's shortcomings. Given the significant decline in food quality and customer service, I will not be returning to this establishment, which is unfortunate as it was once a place I frequented and enjoyed. read more

Can't say enough great things about this place. The staff and the owner are always great to see and talk with. They always go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with everything. Even with all that is going on in the world today, they still treat you as if nothing has happened. He brought everything I ordered for my family and I and It was perfect throughout the whole experience he came by and asked if everything was good and if we needed anything he would bring it. He made me feel like my family and I was at home with his serves. I went to the Cypress Local Table and it was incredible. The food was amazing, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service we received from a lovely lady named Carolina. Amazing food and cleanliness for the cost. Looks and tastes like a higher class restaurant than what the price says. Wonderful staff with amazing customer service and managerial staff. They can deliver, cater, do takeout, or dine in. Michael Lopez and Michael Miller have been extra hospitable whenever I am here. My favorite thing to get is the baked potato soup and chipotle chicken wrap with fries. 10/10 will recommend to anyone wanting to visit. read more

New to the area, looking for a quick brunch spot and this place didn't disappoint. Food portions were ample- hummus and pita app was enough to feed two. The hummus was fresh and delicious, the kabob plate with beef tenderloin was the perfect amount of food and again, very very good. Atmosphere was easy, breezy, and although the place was very busy, that rush feel didn't get passed on to us. We will be back! read more

Sat at the bar today wonderful service by the bartender's Warren and Alan. The drinks were outstanding best bartenders in Cypress Texas and the food was fantastic must try the new Short Rib Street Tacos 10/10. Mike Miller is a phenomenal manger at this location made me feel like I was at home with the hospitality where I can just relax and have fun. Definitely coming back. read more

When I visited the restaurant I had a waitress named Cheri. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. She was very respectful, continuously made sure everything was perfect, and she was so nice! I had the lemon pasta, as she suggested I get and she didn't steer me wrong! This is the kind of restaurant you try one time and you keep repeating. The service is amazing, starting with hostess which greats you with a big smile.
