Very good fresh food! Second day coming. Yesterday I got the chicken wrap with the wedge salad. The wrap was delicious complimented with a nice piece of avocado. The wedge salad was ok. Today I got the shrimp tacos. They were ok. The shrimp was kind of on the small side and the flavor was kind of lost under all the shredded cabbage or lettuce. I would probably skip the shrimp tacos but I'm definitely excited to try other menu items. read more

My wife and I went last weekend for lunch. We had the goat cheese for an appetizer. I had a burger and she had a sandwich. All the food was decent, but nothing out of this world. The service was great though! That's 5 stars for me. If I find a restaurant in Cypress that has good service, I will be a new regular. Service is hard to come by around this area. The serving sizes also seemed to be very generous here. We took a bag of leftovers home from lunch. Ambiance is pretty cool. The open air bar is a nice touch. Found this little hidden gem when we were driving around looking for a place for lunch. James G was our server and did a great job. The atmosphere was unique and cute. I used to come here all the time. Atmosphere is nice, food was always good and never had a problem with service. Even their delivery and curbside was great. However, the last two times I've ordered delivery the food was not good. In this last order they forgot an item and they forgot the garlic bread for the soups. When I called the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and she seemed totally putout by my call. She transferred me to the on duty manager and he was just as rude. He offered me a gift card for the missing pizza but, I was done at that point and insisted on my money back. I don't plan on going back any time soon. My husband and I love Local Table. We consistently get the goat cheese appetizer because it's delicious. I've had the beef kabobs which were tasty. I also love the chicken tortilla soup and salad. We went to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious. I had the special braised ribs over mashed potatoes and green beans. It was tremendous!!! Others had the special Chicken Pot Pie, the Poke bowl and the Wrap sandwich. Everyone loved their food. The service was professional and very much appreciated. The only downside is that we made a reservation for 6:30 and didn't get seated until almost 7pm. It is a small space so I get how they can't always manage to turn tables in a timely manner if people decide to overstay their welcome. But being a small space, it was kind of uncomfortable standing by the door for half an hour over our reservation time. Would have waited outside but it was a really cold night. read more

Tried it for the first time this weekend with friends. The food was good and staff friendly and helpful. There was a glitch with our reservation, but staff found a solution. I've gone twice now. Food is good, nothing spectacular. May be comparing it to the hype. I've sat at the bar and a table in the back, both times flies were a problem. We've been twice the first time starter with Spinach Dip pretty underwhelming and then on to Crispy California Chicken it had really good flavors unfortunately the chicken breast was flat & thin as a pancake. The manager said that isn't the way it's supposed to be. Our second trip I had the Anaheim Green Chile Chicken once again the flavors on target lots of vegetables very little chicken at least this time bigger pieces and juicy but barely half a breast. Had a great afternoon lunch here. The only issue I would say was the amount of staff. They were everywhere! Some in the corner wrapping silverware, some leaning on the booths talking, and some gathered right in the middle of the place - it just seemed a little unprofessional. Even one of the higher ups (the manager or somebody) was sitting and eating his lunch and talking to all the employees as they walked by-just sort of put a damper on the whole experience. However, don't let me steer you wrong, this is a great place to go for a bite to eat or a nice refreshing Bellini. The star of the show would have to be the goat cheese appetizer! Out of this world! The spicy beef tacos were decent and the beef tenderloin salad was okay. Next time we will probably order the chicken fried chicken or a burger- they both looked scrumptious! read more

There is no doubt that this is one of the best restaurants in the area. Their menu has so many different options to choose from and their food is top notch. Everything is seasoned well, cooked well and fresh. We have a few complaints but they don't warrant losing a star for their rating. First, the green beans; They were still raw. I like them to still have crunch but this was more than that. But they were seasoned so nicely that I ended up still eating half of them even though it felt like I was knawing on a heavenly tasting piece of bamboo. Second, the garlic bread; it was cut in half. Don't feel like this deserves an explanation. I loved the sliced bread, again seasoned and buttered nicely but who cuts and serves half a slice of bread? Third, the bar. Their beer selection seems to be all playing the same note. If I remember right, there were 8 beers on draft and 6 of them were IPA. Also, my wife ordered a mixed drink off of their house specialty drink list and it was the most syrupy, sweet drink I've ever tasted. It just sucked to have to pay $10 for something that tasted like that. All in all though, this is a great place to go for a date, to celebrate, or just for a special occasion. Their food is amazing. The complaints I had were quite small and can be easily tiptoed around. I will be back for sure. read more

Simply delish! I had the combo kabob plate. The beef was a little tough, however the chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender....kudos to the chef. Dave the bartender helped me pick the perfect drink the 'espresso martini' it was everything that I expected and more! "Mike the manager" i just like to say that lol, anyways Mike was honestly so nice and helpful the whole time, he checked on my party multiple times and even made great conversation! I dont remember my servers name but he seemed busy but did well for what its worth. It was my first time trying Local Table and honestly its going to be my new spot its only 10 mins from my house and i'm surprised i hadn't tried it before! We got the pepperoni pizza, honey glazed salmon , bread pudding and a cheesecake togo, everything was 10/10. This place is great. We started off with the crab cakes and they were done perfectly. The sauce on top was not too spicy at all, which I love. I had the kabobs with rice, pita bread, and steamed vegetables. The meat was tender and cooked exactly how I asked. A lot of the times in other restaurants I get meat that is so chewy that I almost want to give up chewing! This was the perfect size and great quality meat. The steamed veggies were good and not overdone. My husband was not feeling very adventurous and he got a hamburger. He said that it was just ok. I forgot to take a picture of it. The dessert was amazing though. I might just come back just for that! (It was so good that I kept eating even though I wasn't hungry anymore! you had to basically roll me out of this restaurant.)
