Had a great afternoon lunch here. The only issue I would say was the amount of staff. They were everywhere! Some in the corner wrapping silverware, some leaning on the booths talking, and some gathered right in the middle of the place - it just seemed a little unprofessional. Even one of the higher ups (the manager or somebody) was sitting and eating his lunch and talking to all the employees as they walked by-just sort of put a damper on the whole experience. However, don't let me steer you wrong, this is a great place to go for a bite to eat or a nice refreshing Bellini. The star of the show would have to be the goat cheese appetizer! Out of this world! The spicy beef tacos were decent and the beef tenderloin salad was okay. Next time we will probably order the chicken fried chicken or a burger- they both looked scrumptious! read more

There is no doubt that this is one of the best restaurants in the area. Their menu has so many different options to choose from and their food is top notch. Everything is seasoned well, cooked well and fresh. We have a few complaints but they don't warrant losing a star for their rating. First, the green beans; They were still raw. I like them to still have crunch but this was more than that. But they were seasoned so nicely that I ended up still eating half of them even though it felt like I was knawing on a heavenly tasting piece of bamboo. Second, the garlic bread; it was cut in half. Don't feel like this deserves an explanation. I loved the sliced bread, again seasoned and buttered nicely but who cuts and serves half a slice of bread? Third, the bar. Their beer selection seems to be all playing the same note. If I remember right, there were 8 beers on draft and 6 of them were IPA. Also, my wife ordered a mixed drink off of their house specialty drink list and it was the most syrupy, sweet drink I've ever tasted. It just sucked to have to pay $10 for something that tasted like that. All in all though, this is a great place to go for a date, to celebrate, or just for a special occasion. Their food is amazing. I never come to Bridgeland and today was my first time at Local Table. We ordered honey salmon, Mediterranean salmon, and the poke bowl. Simply delish! I had the combo kabob plate. The beef was a little tough, however the chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender....kudos to the chef. Dave the bartender helped me pick the perfect drink the 'espresso martini' it was everything that I expected and more! "Mike the manager" i just like to say that lol, anyways Mike was honestly so nice and helpful the whole time, he checked on my party multiple times and even made great conversation! It was my first time trying Local Table and honestly its going to be my new spot its only 10 mins from my house and i'm surprised i hadn't tried it before! I ordered the fire roasted brussels sprouts to go and when Oriana G. rang me up they came out to $13.59. I was just in the establishment for the very FIRST time on Friday, 2.3.2023 and the brussels sprouts were $9.00. Unbeknowst to me the price changed in the system but not as yet on the physical Delivery& take out menu(s) that was clearly still at the to go register for $9.00 and the online menu clearly still states that they are $9.00. Oriana the server asked Michael Miller the general manger of the establishment and he says to her that the system changed on Monday 2.6.23..I do NOT know that and it is NOT my fault. When he noticed the menus were still there he begin to remove them and called someone else over I guess to remove them that may have been throughout the establishment. They had NOT been removed the menus that were still clearly at the to go register. I showed him the menu and asked him so because you have NOT removed the menus you will not honor the price on the menu and he said NO the system says $12.00. Again, I stated that is NOT my fault and he still said NO. He was VERY RUDE and NASTY and had other employees look on like WOW!! Oriana was RUDE as well! I WILL NEVER go to that ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!! This place is great. We started off with the crab cakes and they were done perfectly. The sauce on top was not too spicy at all, which I love. I had the kabobs with rice, pita bread, and steamed vegetables. The meat was tender and cooked exactly how I asked. A lot of the times in other restaurants I get meat that is so chewy that I almost want to give up chewing! This was the perfect size and great quality meat. The steamed veggies were good and not overdone. My husband was not feeling very adventurous and he got a hamburger. He said that it was just ok. I forgot to take a picture of it. The dessert was amazing though. I might just come back just for that! (It was so good that I kept eating even though I wasn't hungry anymore! you had to basically roll me out of this restaurant.) The service at Local Table was so good. The hostess, the waiters, and the chefs were amazing. The main purpose of the waiters is to keep the customers satisfied and the best way to do that is keep the service as efficient as possible. Although this may be biased because of the fact my friend, Brianna, works there, the service was near perfection. As we came in we were greeted by Brianna. Later, the waiter came to us with a silly joke which made us laugh and then brought us our drinks within a minute. A little later, we ordered and our food came within five minutes, which I thought was insane seeing how many people there were. Lastly, we got asked if we needed anything multiple times and checked up on. The service was efficient, quick, friendly, and made our days Lastly, the comfort and cleanliness was monumental as I could practically see my reflection from the floor. Comfort and cleanliness are both very important criteria because the more comfort a restaurant has the better the experience of hospitality. Mentally and physically comfort helps attract customers especially in cases they need to dine in. Grimy restaurants repel consumers. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with respect and efficient behavior from the Local Table staff. They knew exactly what I wanted and showed loudly that they would not hesitate to give it to me. I was greeted by a formally dressed waitress that politely assigned my friends and I to a booth. She wasted no time and got straight to the point by asking us about how we are doing and what we would like to drink. The image presented in Fig 1 by Camisha B. is a photograph directly from her own experience of Local Table, and perfectly captures the waiter's uniform and sincere body language when talking to his customers. Of course, this behavior and dress code is mandatory for all staff of Local Table, and for a good reason. The feeling of formality, sincerity, and the staff's attempt at serving their customers with no time to waste, give the impression that Local Table knows the customer's wants and needs when walking into such a fancy restaurant. Recently had the chance to eat at the newly opened Local Table in Cypress. The staff was very friendly and able to answer questions about the door on the menu. Place was extremely clean. Came out for the first time on a Friday night with my husband and 4 kids. Super busy but we were able to reserve a table on the way there. Abraham was our waiter and went above and beyond the entire meal. He was very attentive, keeping our drinks full and even expediting another entree when my 11-year-old was hungrier than usual. Honestly, we were concerned moving from Katy where there were more restaurant choices, but once we realized Local Table / Local Bar were opening nearby, we relaxed. It's our favorite go-to for many reasons. First and foremost, the food is always great. Consistent high quality, fresh ingredients and variety. Also, the management and staff are friendly and welcoming. We have gotten to know many of the waitstaff (as we go OFTEN) but we no longer have favorites -they are all super attentive, courteous, and helpful.
