My rating is based on my ENTIRE experience. If I were to rate just the food, it would be 3 stars. The greet at the front door was great and the host found my reservation with ease. We were seated and waited about five minutes before we were acknowledged by our waitress. This I feel is too long of a wait. She ask what we would like to drink then scurried off. Only to return about two minutes later empty handed saying she was coming with our beverages and threw down cocktail napkins. She returned about two minutes later with drink, not making eye contact placing them on the table all while saying she would be back with straws. Then ran away again. She seemed very frazzled. I was patient because we were waiting on our third person. One positive was that she did refill our drink without having to ask. Our order was placed and food came out relatively quickly but incomplete. We had to wait for the side of bacon, butter (we ordered French toast and a waffle) and extra syrup. The menu states the Texas French toast comes with berries AND bananas. Banana is my favorite and this is why I choose this dish. My entree arrived WITHOUT banana. I had noticed this right away when our food was dropped off and that was another item that was "coming." A minute later a manager arrived with everything we were waiting on MINUS THE BANANAS. He proceeded to give his excuses of how they ran out but he was going to go next door and see if they had any at their other restaurant next door. About five minutes later another manger came by to see how things were and we told him we were waiting on the other manager to see if he found the bananas. This manager also started with his excuses about "brunch ending at 3 and they tend to run out of fruit by this time." My question to this establishment is...If this is a common issue, why don't you order accordingly? Both managers had the tone as if this wasn't a big deal and I didn't appreciate this. I would not have ordered my dish if I had known I would not get what I wanted. The first manager played it off by offering a "FREEE DESSERT" the second manager validated this by saying "Mr. Rudy was going to get a dessert on the house for our troubles." Well...we ordered the dessert and we PAID for it too! I should not have to discuss this with the server and so I did not. This place needs to get their act together. They have dirty bathrooms, dead flowers as decor (because someone is too lazy to change these out or ensure the person who provides this part, is doing their job). And cannot seem to order product properly. I drove an hour to visit this place. The only good thing was the farmers market I caught by chance in the parking lot. read more

I went here for my dad's birthday and I must say that this is a nice concept to have in the suburbs. Its nicely lit and has a nice atmosphere. There's a few tvs showing sports on the walls. The staff was really kind and attentive and the owner even stopped by to wish my dad a happy birthday and he got to have some dessert on the house. It's mostly American food with some subtle spices from the Mediterranean. We had some crab cakes and brussels sprouts for appetizers. The crab cakes were moist and delicious and the spicy sauce they had served us with it was really tasty. The sprouts were nicely caramelized and crunchy and it is typical of most places that serve roasted brussels sprouts. I ordered the combination kabob plate. It is served with mixed grilled vegetables and rice and a yogurt dill cucumber sauce and some pita bread. The beef was really tender and the chicken was fine but I think one of my pieces were a little undercooked. The dish was still good otherwise. For dessert we had New York Cheesecake and it is served with a raspberry sauce and it was quite delicious. I would like to try to stop for their lunch one day. read more

I came across this business doing a Yelp search and reviews were high, so I gave it a try. I have been to this location 3 times now. 1st visit was perfect. Service was great and food was hot. I hate lukewarm food. The 1st visit I got baked potato soup & chicken fried chicken & homemade lemonade. 2nd visit service was great again. I ordered baked potato soup again, cheeseburger well done, no onions or pickles with lemonade. The burger is of ample size. I asked for a steak knife to cut it in half, the usual butter knife wasn't going to suffice. My waiter went to the kitchen and then returned letting me know they don't have any but the kitchen could cut it for me. I declined and decided the butter knife would have to do. After adding on my ketchup. I cut the burger in half only to find a medium cooked patty. Called my server over and he took off to the kitchen. I waited as they remade me a burger. The 2nd burger looked great but wasn't the burger I ordered. He whisked it away and went back to the kitchen. The 3rd burger was correct and I was grateful. My server apologized again. There was no other compensation for all that time. I really enjoyed the burger so I figured everyone has an off day. Plus 1st visit went amazingly. 3rd visit I decided to go with chicken fried chicken again but gravy on side and baked potato soup to start, no lemonade, just water. Service was much slower and my food was not as hot. The soup wasn't piping hot like before. It seemed as if had been sitting before being brought to me. The chicken was piping hot. The mashed potatoes & green beans were warm. As if they were plated while chicken was still cooking. Since COVID I understand the service and food industry is still recovering so I'm willing to try them again. The next trip will either keep them on my list or remove them. They're close to work & home for me. The establishment is very clean and that gets them many points as well. Hopefully next visit will go well. I'll update after that. read more

The Brussels sprouts were extremely oily, and very sugary sweet, I didn't taste the honey part. Hummus tasted like store bought dishes, nothing special. I went here for the first time last night. I've passed by Local Table a couple of times prior and it caught my attention because of the conspicuous, lit-up CTX sign inside. It looked like a pretty basic restaurant, and I wasn't expecting much, but the Crispy California Chicken burger was really tasty. The fries it came with were alright - some were perfectly cooked, some were way too crispy like chips. My friend got the Chipotle burger and the frose, and said both were tasty as well. 5/5 for great service and atmosphere. read more

This place has overrated written all over it. It has a nice atmosphere, with nice decor and pretty good service. No flaws on that end. But the food-- which is the most important part, was subpar. I ordered the california crispy chicken sandwich and the presentation was nice. It looked like pretty good with a shiny brioche bun and some slaw, bacon, and fried chicken. But there was one thing lacking. There was almost no sauce, no flavor, and it was literally as if I was biting into bread with some veggies thrown onto a fried chicken, which was also dry. And the worst thing is that it cost $13. I can find a better chicken sandwich elsewhere for half that price, and with everything else on the menu being priced around $15, it'll be hard to find something worth what you spend. Probably won't come here again, really nothing special going on here. Don't add the word "Local" hoping that the food you make will magically turn into something you see at real, authentic farm to table restaurants. read more
