Strawberry Banana Nutella® Concha
John G.

We were genuinely excited to finally try Loaded Cafe after driving past it so many times and seeing it all over social media. Unfortunately, this ended up being one of those places where the hype set expectations that the actual experience just didn't meet. We finally had a free Saturday to give it a shot and were quoted around a 30-minute wait that ended up being closer to 45. The waiting area is surprisingly small for how busy the restaurant gets, so we spent a good portion of that time outside waiting for some space to open up. There were definitely some highlights. The cold coffees we tried were good, and the complimentary conchas were honestly amazing. They come from the attached panadería, and they were easily one of the best parts of our visit. For breakfast, everyone ordered something different and I went with the Strawberry Banana Nutella Concha after seeing it countless times on Instagram. Visually, it absolutely delivers. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't. The eggs and potatoes seemed to have little to no seasoning, and the bacon was...bacon, nothing noteworthy. The Strawberry Banana Nutella Concha was the biggest letdown. With a combination of concha French toast, strawberries, banana, and Nutella, I expected this thing to be packed with flavor. Somehow, it was surprisingly bland. Considering this was the dish that had originally convinced me to visit, that was especially disappointing. Overall, Loaded Cafe photographs extremely well, but based on our visit, the breakfast itself was only passable and certainly not worth a 45-minute wait. The attached panadería, however, is another story. If I were in the area craving pan dulce, I'd happily stop there for some conchas and a coffee. Maybe we caught the restaurant on an off day, but next time we're nearby, we'll probably skip the breakfast, visit the panadería instead, and save the long wait for a more memorable meal.

Came in from out of town to enjoy a concha and worlds largest cup of cafe! Jose was so nice constantly checking in and making sure our food was to our liking!! Will definitely be coming back!!

Wow, I dropped in after seeing all those amazing ads on Instagram. Didn't realize they closed the dining section (Loaded Cafe is a restaurant in the morning and stays open until 9pm for the bakery section) when I arrived at almost 3pm for a late brunch. My server, Nery G, was sooooo nice, he didn't rush me and his kitchen team made me the most delicious breakfast meal with an extra side of kindness. After breakfast, I ventured into the bakery for fresh conchas (mazapan & Nutella) recommended by Israel who is a very polite young person. Appreciate everyone's hospitality here at Loaded Cafe & Panecito Bakery.

The Little Piggy

The restaurant was nice and quiet, giving a very nice ambiance to start off the day. The server was kind and brought us a new type of bread, a churro bread that was crunchy but very good! After looking through the menu, I ordered the Little Piggy and ate as much as I could before I got full and now, I've got leftovers for later today! I always enjoy coming here to eat and try new things from the menu. Next time, I plan on trying their shredded beef burrito!

The only suggestion that I have is someone should be in the front...again, it took a minute for someone to acknowledge that I was there.

07 02 2026 - - - Loaded Cafe: Redemption Served - Well... after the spectacular train wreck that was my last visit, I figured everyone deserves a second chance. So after my shift this morning, I rolled back into Loaded Cafe with cautious optimism... and a healthy dose of side-eye. I'm happy to report this visit was much better. Nice and Clean. Staff attentive, once they saw that I was there. The coffee hit the spot, and they brought out a fresh concha that was soft, warm, and exactly what it should be. My only complaint? One concha? That's just rude. At least two should come with coffee. I'm pretty sure that's somewhere in the Constitution. Then came the French toast, and it absolutely redeemed itself. Thick, fluffy, buttery, and exactly what I was hoping for after a long morning. No complaints there. The best part, though, was getting to chat with the new manager. It's refreshing to see someone who genuinely seems to care about improving the experience. That conversation gave me hope that my previous visit was the exception, not the rule. So here's to second chances. This visit earned one. I'm rooting for the team to keep heading in this direction because I'd love for no one else to experience the epic breakfast fail I had just a month ago. This time around: worth the stop. Next time... just slide another concha onto that tray and we'll really be onto something.

This Loaded location is always so pleasant! The staff is amazing! Had the pumpkin spice coffee today and it was the perfect addition to a great breakfast deal!

We've been coming here since they opened and it keeps getting better and better. They keep adding more delicious entries and the cafecito and pan dulce is yummy. If you wanna save some money look at their weekday favorites and also bring cash. If you don't have cash don't worry they also take tap to pay and cards

I just had a quick bite at the Bellflower location after a long morning waiting on my vehicle getting serviced and repaired. I been wanting to try Loaded Cafe for a while so this quick visit / review will not do any justice to the great reputation! The exterior I thought was very plain and dated. The interior decor was not as colorful as I had expected. My server was friendly and helpful. I had ordered a simple meal of plain crepes, sausage & sunny side eggs ($12.99). The crepes were delicious and I've made a note to come back to try the other more creative crepe offers in the future.

I was surprised the variety of options on the menu and the big shocker was a bakery inside the restaurant. Seating was quick Service was fast Environment was loaded with fun Server was friendly and nice Food came out at a decent time. Unfortunately the food didn't come out as expected. Examples: mozzarella sticks came out uncooked and frozen inside. Eggs came out sunny side but ordered well done sunny side. Overall, the experience definitely worst coming and dining. We had a great time!

Original Brioche French Toast
Eric J.

We ordered the sirloin steak breakfast with eggs and hash browns, along with the brioche French toast. The steak was decent, the eggs were cooked just right, and the hash browns were pretty typical for what you'd expect. The disappointing part was the brioche French toast. We ordered everything to go, and it seems like sometimes with takeout you just don't get the same attention to detail. There was no powdered sugar and no butter included. I did get the syrup, but overall the French toast was pretty underwhelming. Overall, the meal was okay and pretty typical for this type of restaurant, but I expected a little more, especially for what you're paying.

The atmosphere was warm and festive, with great music and beautiful presentation on every dish. The food was excellent -- the carne asada tacos were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the enchiladas were rich and comforting, and the fresh guacamole was some of the best we've had. The margaritas were also amazing and paired perfectly with the meal. What really stood out was the service. Our server checked in often, made great recommendations, and even helped make the day feel extra special for my mom. You can tell this place cares about both the food and the people who come in. Highly recommend for family dinners, celebrations, or anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

Let's start with the margarita I got, I did not taste any alcohol in it (and I cannot have strong drinks! So that can tell you a lot) not worth $18. We basically paid for an expensive agua fresca! Then I ordered the carne asada skewers. The first bite was okay, not very flavorful, but I thought I could just finish it. As I go through the meat, I notice so much fat and very little meat. I grab another piece and bite into it, I start chewing and realize that it tasted like raw meat (with a hint taste of raw meat that spent too much time in the fridge) I immediately got nauseous and spit it out on a napkin. I told our server and he asked me what else I would like. I then ordered the fish tacos, he brought it out in less than 5 minutes (kind of fast if you ask me) I try a small piece of the fish and it wasn't bad, I give a piece to my friend and she only got fat. Why is there fat in my fish tacos! I tried to pick through it so I could atleast get full, but I couldn't do it. The server came to pick up our plates and asked me if I didn't like the tacos, I said no but that's okay don't worry about it. I was so disappointed because I was starving. My friend ordered the rib eye tacos and had to pick through it too because most of it was fat. The only good thing that happened was that our server did not charge me for the two plates that I didn't eat. We thanked him, paid the check and left. Unfortunately, this was not the best food and we were excited to eat and celebrate my birthday.

We went during an off time so peak times I would expect a wait. We really blew our diets but it was worth it. We shared a small order of fries topped with chorizo, chipotle mayo, crumbled cheese, and raw jalapeno. It was soooo good and the small order was perfect for two without ruining your appetite. For my entree I had the Navajo taco which was a giant fry bread topped with red chile beef, beans, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and chipotle aioli. This was a true masterpiece of flavors. The fry bread was like a savory funnel cake flavor. Crunchy exterior and fluffy cloud like interior. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. My wife had hers with ground beef, potato, and green chile. They had a lot of different protein choices. Should have stopped at this point but they had a pumpkin pie filling stuffed sopapilla. It was made to order so it took awhile and came out steaming hot. It was served with two scoops of ice cream so it's perfect for sharing. It was pure heaven and we devoured it. Service was great but these ladies were doing everything. Taking orders, cleaning tables, packing up orders, putting final touches on foods, washing dishes. It was crazy yet they always kept a smile on their faces through the chaos. My wife and I cannot wait to try more items on the menu! Worth the drive!

He explained the situation with the cup, even though I had been there the night before and received a full-size one. After 30+ years of coming here, this one experience doesn't change the fact that we've had so many good experiences at this location. Looking back, I realize I should have left positive reviews for all the other times we've been here because we truly do love this location and will continue to come back. I also want to make it clear that my review was never made with the intention of receiving anything in return. I appreciate Heath taking the time to reach out, hear me out, and make things right. People have bad days, and sometimes we have to give people a little grace. Thank you, Heath, for taking the time to listen and for addressing my concerns. I truly appreciate it. I've been coming here for over 30 years, and I've left 25%+ tips while continuing to support this place despite the service going downhill and the food being just "meh." I've spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars here over the years, and they know me by now. Well, today was probably the final straw. I simply asked for a to-go tea, and THIS is what I was handed. A literal kids-size/micro cup. What makes it even more frustrating is that this was my second time here this week. I've continued to come back and support this business, but this kind of service is ridiculous. I also seem to always end up with the same cranky employee who barely speaks English and, honestly, comes across as a little judgmental toward me. So I have to wonder... was I given this tiny cup because of that? Maybe. ‍ Either way, after 30+ years of being a loyal customer, you would think a little more consideration would be shown. Shame on you guys. This was incredibly disappointing and may have officially been the final straw. Update : I said the food was meh because we were actually there the night before and had to go Teas and receive the to go cups in the blue cups that are the normal size so I know it wasn't anything to do with the orders of the supplies so I feel like it was due to the waiter that we had.. When I said, the food was Meh It's because today we had lunch specials and we ordered the chicken fajitas. It came with three pieces of chicken, but I didn't want to speak up because it was a lunch special but three pieces of chicken they made one taco which I thought was shocking and then I had the chimichanga burrito which was really small and I've ordered these both before as lunch petrol and they've never been this small portion size before I'm sorry I should've left that in my original review so the comment of meh I didn't have anything to do with the drink size I received.
