I NEVER give reviews but I am compelled to write a review for the amazing fuego cravings. I adore their asada street tacos so much, I ordered 8 tacos and ate 6 and a half. The meat was warm, seasoned, and amazing. The lime/lemon went extremely well with the tacos, making the tacos a 20 out of 10. It is worth any drive, no matter how long the drive may be, you NEED to drive here to try their food. I have been to Mexico multiple times and these tacos beat any taco I have ever have in my entire life. I forgot to mention, I wasn't even hungry and ate 7 delicious, amazing, flavorful tacos, a delicious refreshing sweet cold pineapple Agua Fresca, AND a lot of delicious crunchy salty warm chips dipped in amazing, spicy, tangy salsa. On top of this, I tried a delicious burrito which was better than any fast food restaurant around! They have multiple options for tacos, all of them being at least a 15 out of 10! Kudos to the chef!! The restaurant is owned by what looks like a mother and a son. The service is fast all while keeping the food tasting like a Michelin star restaurant! Honestly, being 100% honest, I would invite Gordon Ramsay and tbe Michelin star chefs to try this restaurant so more people can experience the joy of fuego cravings! The restaurant is located in the mall and provides a very calm and nice feeling. To conclude my review, I have a few key points I want to say again. I think fuego cravings should be a nationally recognized Michelin star restaurant, the food is a 100/10, and the service is amazing. Amazing people, fantastic food. If you are looking for a solid choice with great prices, this is your spot. They are all by themselves by the old theater, and the only (best) reason to come to the Buena Park mall. They deserve a Main Street location with their service and quality, but it's really nice to go to a quiet place and have easy seating and parking options. Most places this good are packed and inconvenient, Fuego cravings is relaxed, comfortable and convenient. Great vibe all around. It's hard to say which is better - the food or the people. From the food to the customer service, this was a gem for me. I can see why this place has very high reviews and will be a stop for us whenever we're back in California. 3 street tacos plate with a side of rice and beans plus chips and a drink for $13.99?! In this economy, I swear it's unheard of. My fiancé ordered the carne asada plate and i wanted shrimp tacos-- here's where the customer service went above my expectations. There is a shrimp taco plate on the menu but it is just one and comes with a hard shell but I was wanting flour tortillas. Ordered pickup and got the notification it was ready within 10 minutes. It's in a bit of a weird spot, but if you walk past Kickin' Crab and the Gudetama Cafe it's on the right and there will be an outdoor seating area with a sign. Pickup was fast and staff were very nice. I really wanted to love everything but everything was kind of just meh for me. Birria Ramen: 6.5/10, the flavor was kind of underwhelming for me. It was somehow salty but also very bland. There was a lot of birria, sometimes I felt like it was too much. It did come with some chopped onions, cilantro, and a lime which helped the flavor a bit but I can't say I'd get it again. Birria Nachos: 7/10, I did ask to leave out sour cream and jalapenos. The chips were crispy and they give a lot of guacamole sauce and birria. I was hoping the birria would add more flavor to this, but like the ramen, it was somehow kind of bland. Esquites: 5/10, I really wanted to like this but the proportion of corn to toppings wasn't great and corn tasted old/stale. Cucumber Agua Fresca: 10/10, this was free with the first time online order. It was very refreshing with the perfect level of sweetness. Overall, the meal was okay, not bad but not amazing. We were visiting Kawaii Klaws and got hungry, so we popped in to check this place out on a whim. The food looked great, and my son and I both love birria so we decided to have our lunch here... Started ordering quesabirria for him, and the guy at the counter let us know that they had a cancelled Uber eats order from just a few minutes before- the food was still fresh and included 2 quesabirria, and he offered it to us for half price if we wanted to take that order... I obviously said yes, what a no brainer! Really glad the timing was right and that this order didn't go to waste, so kudos for that! We also got to try the agua fresca and churros, which I'm not sure we would have ordered otherwise. Everything was DELICIOUS! We were so impressed. Stuffed ourselves to the gills and took the leftovers with us. The employee also came over to check on us and make sure everything was good while we were eating. My husband and my son both ordered the birria tacos and they were absolutely incredible, while I had the chilaquiles which were very, very delicious. The main reason I came here was for the horchata which costs $7 for a large & it is not worth it. Pretty sure it is what ruined my stomach. In addition I also got a surf & turf taco here. Maps will lead you outside so it can be hard to find, but if you walk down the alley(?) you'll find it in a food court area. I'm gonna be honest, I was planning on going to another restaurant a few steps away but we were 12th on the waiting list and our movie was going to start in 45 minutes. So we decided to try Fuego and I'm so glad we did. In fact, I can't wait to go there again to try other items like the quesabirria and the mulita. Today I had an al pastor taco which was great but the shrimp taco combo was super awesome, I could come here every week for it. And I'm not a big fan of beans but theirs is homemade and so amazing. The young lady who took our order was friendly, but I fell in love with the older lady who brought us our food. Everything was what I expected it to be the food 10 out of 10 very flavorful , big size portions definitely can be shareable, depending on how much you eat. I ordered the surf and turf fries also the birria quesadilla with consommé on the side and a cucumber Fresca . All this came up to about $35 which was totally worth it. The service was amazing. I was expecting to be in a restaurant environment, but in fact, this was not that it gave more of like a food court at a mall which I was still OK with because there was plenty of seats and space . The workers were nice and very helpful when they came to choosing what to order because like I said their menu has so many delicious things that I definitely have to go back to try more. The only reason I am giving it an eight instead of a 10 out of 10 is because of the location, I just thought It would be different. This place is amazing!! All the food I ordered was absolutely delicious. I'm pretty picky about my mexican food and this was top tier for sure. I ordered the fish taco and it was cooked perfectly. I also had the chilaquiles plate and I devoured it before I even remembered to get a picture. SO GOOD. The service here is great too! Very very friendly staff. You get so little for what you pay for. I asked the guy to show me how much albondigas I get when I order to go. He showed me the container and I thought it was a good size, only to see it wasn't entirely full. When I mentioned it he said that's how much you get in the bowl if you dine in. Plus he totally missed one of the plates I paid for. Good thing I noticed before I left. And the woman immediately tells me to check my receipt as though it was my fault. After a movie Wild Robot our family decided to go and try the Mulitas at Fuedo. Mulitas are rarely made in coparison to tacos and extremely delicious. We ordered 4 mulitas and churros dipped in ice cream! The asada meat was cooked to perfection, careful with the hot sauce,it's delicious but has a double kick to it, I mean this as a compliment. The churros were just delicious. According to my older son,we did not order enough. He's driving back to order Mulitas and Fanta beverages.
