I had an excellent experience here. I called to inquire about canvas stretching and a floating frame for a very large piece. The woman I spoke to was cordial, professional, and highly knowledgeable. She explained the process and costs, and offered recommendations. Oh, and in terms of costs, they are very fair, especially compared to other places. I actually couldn't believe how much these other places were charging for canvas stretching; pretty shocking, actually. In the end, due to circumstances, I'm not going through with the art piece - yet. But I had such an awesome experience with the staff here that I had to write a review. My wife an unique idea to frame her wedding dress and my tuxedo. The framing came out really well and it often takes guests to our home by surprise to them proudly displayed on our wall. Well the Mrs framing was in need of some TLC. Over time the adhesive was giving way to the elements of our home, with heat and cold. We started to look for a repair shop in Hayward, since our original shop had moved out of the area. Lucky for us we located LnT Custom Picture Framing near our home. I first met with Toni and asked if she was able to repair the frame. She said sure, and asked if I has able to wait. Of course I waited. She went about removing the paper backing, the hooks, opened the cardboard and removed the portion of the trim and was in need of repair. She then applied new backing and reapplied the hooks. While she she was wrapping I asked how much? She said it was free. Since her and her husband Lee both worked for the former company that did our original framing and they were honoring their work and said they would do so going forward. Don't bother going anywhere else for your matting needs. Toni (owner) will mat your pic right then and there if she has the colors you want and she has the time. You can tell her what you would like and she will offer you colors within that range and you can pick or she can help you decide which ones work best. Look around the studio and see she does stuff for BIG bay area companies - sports, law enforcement etc. As far as price - she'll give you the quote and she is VERY reasonable.
