The only reason I'm not giving this a one star review is because ultimately we got the products. It took the National Customer Care person to facilitate it. We found LVP flooring that we wanted, it was in stock. The total was approximately $4500. Our flooring installer was to pick it up. Since we lived out of town and was doing this remotely, I wanted to put it on Amex. The (snotty) local "sales" guy (J?) said I could only make a down payment with the remainder being paid *in person*. Remember, we lived across the state and this work was being done in preparation for us moving into a new home the following month. I said that wouldn't work. He AGREED, happily. When I told our flooring contractor about it, he was incredulous. 28 years in the business and he had never heard of a customer not being able to pay in full. He called the LL corporate headquarters in Virginia and I was able to pay in full. However, when the guys went to pick the materials up they were told they needed to come back later. They could *see* the order. More BS. And another intervention by Val at corporate. They were able to get the material but it had been ** dumped ** behind their truck. As I'm reading this, it's hard to believe. We will NEVER do business there again. Oh, and the day after we got the flooring, they reduced the price in their supply. The Spokane sales guy must be a relative of the owner to be allowed to get away with this terrible treatment of customers. read more

My story begins in October 2019 when I purchased Laminate flooring and underlayment from this company. I had 2 other people with me as witnesses, when I spoke to an employee, stating that I am doing a job that will take up to a year to do, and, would I be able to return any unused laminate if need be. I was told yes, as long as I had the receipt. Speed up to June 2020, I drive 2 1/2 hours to the Spokane Valley store, where I purchased the flooring. Mind you, this is AFTER the virus shutdown and all the other stuff going on in this world. I show up, to return the unused boxes and underlayment. I was told that I could not return them because it was past the 90 days, and, that particular flooring was now obsolete. I explained to him what was said by his employee, and that I drove 2 1/2 hours to return it. He did not care. Now, reminding you, we were all in shut down by the 90 days. They did not care. I asked him how was I to know that the flooring I choose, we now obsolete? He said that I wouldn't have known. So why is it that I have to pay the price for that? And, why do I have to pay the price for having left overs, when I asked the employee if I could return it within a year? How can a company not stand by there employees words? I am extremely disappointed and will never shop ever, at any of these stores. I really did not like the way the flooring was made and how it clicked together. It was poorly made. But, I got what I paid for. If you ever ask for something more than the store is willing to do, if you know, put it in writing! I sure wish I had! But either way, know this store will NOT stand by whatever its employees say. I really hope this store will close down. I do not see how it could stay open with customer service like this. Especially in todays world where this are not normal. Business are closing right and left. I would expect better from this company. read more

Easy getting a quote actually several as we had trouble deciding on flooring colors and quality. Kris helped us walk thru the process and we got, I think, the perfect flooring for our house. Mike and Alex (the installers) were great ... good communication with us issues immediately addressed which were little questions. They helped by picking up the product on their way to install saving us time , money and our backs. Floors look great. read more

If zero stars were an option, that's what would portray my experience. I went to Lumber Liquidators after shopping around at some other retail locations because the quality of the product and price was great. However, I would've rather paid more money literally ANYWHERE else to avoid the hassle and stress that ensued. I purchased a home in Spokane 2 months ago and purchased the new flooring around that same time. Long story short, Lumber Liquidators left me and my fiancé high and dry. Their "contractor" demoed half the flooring in my home, leaving exposed nails, subfloor, etc. the contractor was double-booked so was unable to finish the job himself and was going to send his "brother and friend" to finish. I absolutely refused as they told us to leave the doors unlocked and I don't know who his "brother and friend" are and was told the CONTRACTOR would be doing the job. So, we told Lumber Liquidators that we were not moving forward with this "contractor". They said they'd refund the money, but it's been 5 days and guess what... still no refund. Surprise surprise. After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to get my flooring from L.L. After talking to the installer, I learned some interesting info. If you are buying a product that they don't usually stock, you might have some inventory issues. The floor we purchased (engineered Tobacco Road Acacia) is one they stock but, I didn't want to take any chances, so I ordered everything at once (they happened to have everything in stock). We used Brothers Flooring to do the installation and they worked everything out amongst themselves. All I had to do was provide a credit card. Everything turned out just fine with no problems and my floor looks beautiful. read more

This place is AWFUL. We ordered 1 piece of butcher block. Paid in full. Waited 3 weeks (they said 8-12 days) and THEN they called us saying it was discontinued. We called back asking for a refund. The guy on the phone (old and rude) said that the only person that could give us a refund was the person who took our order...?? So we had to wait until she clocked on. So weird. Recently installed 1000+ square feet of hickory hardwood flooring. Very pleased with the overall buying experience. Customer Service was top notch and product quality and pricing was as advertised. Be very certain of your measurements, as the 20% restock on the flooring bites a bit.... but it is fully disclosed on the initial contract of sale. read more

Company said they could install my floors. As soon as they ran into a problem.( high spots in concrete ) they walked out and washed their hands of us. After leaving they have provided me with NO help finding someone to get my floors to a point they can work with or even fully explain what needs to be done. Had we spent the nominal $ other flooring company's (that hire contractors) quoted, floors would be in. Locals contractors aren't clearing their schedule because they won't be making anything off the flooring install. To add insult to injury they want to charge me 20% roughly $1000 in my case to return the product and allow me to find somebody that can install floors in my house. read more

Absolute worst DIY experience, worst customer service, most un-knowledgeable and un-cooperative employees of any business I have ever dealt with. I would NEVER do business with them again, I would pay double if I had to. I ordered 1,200 square feet of solid red oak. When I showed up to pick it up there was only 48 boxes on the pallet. This equates to roughly 1,000 square feet. They had to credit my account, and re order the other 10 boxes. HOWEVER the price had increased and I had to pay an extra two hundred bucks. It took over an hour to get everything loaded, and I had to sign a release stating that I knew I was overloading my truck and they wouldn't be held liable for damages I may incur. My truck has a payload of 4,000 pounds , and this load weighed approx. 3,000 pounds. I had at least 100 sq feet of un-usable wood, and they had mentioned that I could get a refund on any damaged/defective material. When I took the factory defect/damaged wood back, they would not issue a refund, but they would take it back minus a %20 fee. And furthermore they stated that I should expect a 10% up to 20% defect (throw away and waste) rate. This was never mentioned when I purchaced it. This was another six hundred bucks down the drain. I am not a professional floor installer, and my waste rate was approx. 1%. Unfortunatly I had to return to pick up the last of the flooring, and also some mouldings. I was again charged incorrectly, and furthermore I was charged for mouldings that were not even in stock. The girl at the counter couldn't figure out how to do a refund, and ended up marking it as customer picked up. Since it was the weekend, there was nobody she could call for help. She said it would be taken care of on Monday. After a week, I had not seen a refund, and my paperwork and account showed that I had already picked it up. So short of getting a lawyer, it was their word against mine. PLEASE, if you are contemplating shopping at this store, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Look at the other one star reviews, and don't become another screwed over customer. read more

Customer services is nearly nonexistent at this location. I received an email confirmation that my purchase was " ready to pick up" two day prior. I arrived to pick up my order and before I exited my vehicle I was informed that it would be at least an hour before they could get me loaded. I then went in to get in line and requested my order and again was told it would be an hour wait. While I was out in the vehicle two other vehicles pulled up and we're loaded and left before they even started assembling my order. So in short when they say your order is ready for pick up it apparently only mean that the items are in stock. Additionally, one of the sales person was relatively new to the store and the other was extremely rude and had no concern for me as a customer. Because of this delay I missed a scheduled appt and was late for another. CUSTOMER NO SERVICE. read more

I wish I could give no stars!!! Bait and switch! They gave me a quote to get me in the door!! Once they achieved that, they failed to inform me that moving baseboards and appliances would be extra. The final price came in over 2,000 more than the first estimate (that's without moving the baseboards and appliances!!). Keith was not honest with me! I couldn't get a straight answer from him. He would say let me call the contractor. Anytime I hear someone thinking about using Lumber liquidator I will tell them to look elsewhere! read more

If you are a DIYer then this place might be for you. However if you want a good price without a gigantic hassle, I would recommend the other big box stores (home depot, lowes). I had to pick up the flooring myself, which seriously strained my little SUV. Then had to unload 1000 pounds of flooring into the house by myself. To add to the stress, the installer they contract with has failed to show up after three different dates given. Have a fourth date scheduled, Fingers crossed. So far this has been a nightmare experience. Have ordered other big ticket items from other big box stores and had their installers do the work. No problems with them, or getting the work done quickly. Plus didn't have to pick up items myself. The prices and selection aren't any better than HD or Lowes. My local LL store didn't have that much stock or much of a showfloor. Would not recommend LL, and won't be a return customer. read more

After spending $2500 in flooring the price went down. What reputable company doesn't honor a drop in price. When I asked about returning the unused flooring I was told that there was a 20% restocking fee...funny...we we told any unused boxes could be returned. It's funny how nicely you are treated when you purchase something but after the sale not so much. There are a lot of flooring places in Spokane an I would definitely check them out before shopping here. read more

Terrible place to do business with. I purchased bamboo flooring on the recommendation of the sales rep. within a year the floor started having problems. I finally tried to get a settlement on this poor product. their solution was to offer 20 cents on the dollar for the product and nothing on install even though the 20 cents wouldn't even cover removal of the bad floor. A horrible place and their warranty means nothing. do not do business with them. again do not do business with this company. aweful read more

We traveled 100 miles to purchase flooring. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Despite being busy, we were not rushed and had all questions answered. Due to distance, we bought extra "just in case"; however with the ease of application, this was not necessary. Returning the excess was just as easy and pleasant as the initial sale. Good selection but found the same price for the same materials at other locations. Went with Lumber Liquidators sence they spent the most time with us. A week or so later, they called and let us know the flooring was in. I called them back to arrange a time to pick it up and they asked if I could leave my number and they would call me back, no problem but when I started to give them my number, it was 'thanks, call us back in about 10 mins', click. When I did call back, I asked how long the boxes were so I would know what size vehicle to bring, was originally told 7 feet, then 2 feet, then 4 feet. Things settled on 4 feet so I brought a car the boxes would fit in. Showed up and the boxes were 7 feet. Fortunately I was by myself and was able to lay seats down, move the front passenger seat forward and lean it into the dash to make it fit. Got it hope and my bride asked if I got the tee shaped trim piece and the answer was no. Not a big deal if they didn't charge us for it but I checked the invoice and, yes, they did. Call them again and was told that piece isn't in yet and should be here the middle of next week. They didn't charge me the middle of next week! Plus, now it's another trip down there. I'll be doing my wood floor shopping elsewhere from now on. read more

Still waiting....I ordered about 500 sq ft of product via the factory in Georgia. It was on sale. I was told it would take 5-10 business days. It will now be over 20 business days or one month to receive this. I have had to reschedule my flooring guy twice now.
