My…read morewife and I were able to shop without a sales-person hovering around us, but when we needed assistance, our sales-person, Justin, was very helpful and friendly. We settled on a sectional that was on clearance because a previous buyer didn't like the color when they got it home, so they traded it in. They wrapped it up and helped me load it into my trailer. When I got it home and moved it into the room, I noticed some small tears and damage to the fabric. This was damage that occurred while it was being moved in, but this was damage to very fragile fabric; something that I wasn't expecting and shouldn't have occurred. We were very careful moving it into the room, and the touches that we did make with the wall, were very minor and just a part of getting a big piece of furniture through halls and doorways. I called the next day and let Justin know what I was seeing, and that this wasn't typical of furniture fabric that I had experience with it (I'm 57 and have more moves under my belt than I care to remember). Justin immediately offered that I was welcome to return it for a full refund. While I was disappointed that we couldn't make this piece work, the experience I had was incredibly positive, and frankly not expected especially since this was a clearance piece. I will definitely be back for other pieces because of my positive experience with a company that stands behind what it sells and works hard to make me happy.

Came in today looking for bunk beds for my grandchildren. There were 7 staff members on the floor…read more We had to go up and ask for assistance. No one offered to help. When an associate was sent over to talk to us, we were informed that nothing was available in store. My daughter and her husband were also looking for a living room chair. They were never approached, but did hear the "huddle " of associates talking trash about another employee. About 10 minutes later, the associate who that told us nothing was available came up and said there was 1 in the clearance section that was available today. He was unaware of it because he didn't know the inventory and a manager had to tell him about it. When I approached the huddle of 5 associates around the mattress counter to inquire about purchasing the mattresses for the beds, they were annoyed about having their conversation being interrupted and the woman that did get up was very rude when showing me the bunk bed mattresses. Needless to say, I left without them. We also had to ask about getting the bed loaded 15 minutes after completing the purchase. Nobody told the people in the back we had purchased it. Worst experience in a furniture store ever. We will never be back. And I really liked a sectional and power recliner that I willingly walked away from due to the staff. The bed would have been walked away from as well if my husband had not already paid for it when I got back from the mattress counter.

They are either not the right size or extremely expensive. We were so fortunate to find our dream bed frame , a taxidermy piece, and a gorgeous large vintage cabinet. We have been frequent flyers at Consign Furniture. We've purchased a stained glass lamp, a few other taxidermy pieces, and some small furniture pieces at different times in the past. Every visit, even when we didn't purchase something the customer service was incredible. Always so kind and helpful. We ran into a few hiccups for this last purchase and Michael Jenicek handled each one perfectly and efficiently. First issue: We purchased the bed frame and taxidermy Elk mount but needed a different vehicle to be able to transport them home. He told us we could pick them up tomorrow or before they close. We decided to come back that day. We are driving home and I realized the receipt said California King bed frame but I thought the tag in store said king. I called Michael and informed him that if the frame was indeed a California king that would not work for us. He said he would run to the back and measure it to make sure it was a king bed frame and give me a call immediately. He called back sooner thanIi expected, 15 mins after we had gotten off the phone. I had stepped away from my phone so I missed both of his calls! When I called back he informed me it was indeed a king size bed frame not a California king. He apologized for any inconvenience. I wasn't upset just sad that it may not work out. I appreciate the speedy response time. We arrived an hour before closing and decided to take another look around and we found something else. The large vintage cabinet. Realized it would not only be bad for our backs but also a huge pain to haul this back to our home. We work long hours during the week so delivering wouldn't work during the week. He was so accommodating and was able to work us into the delivery schedule for the very next day! It was lucky that the last delivery on Sunday was in the area where we were located. So he added us onto the schedule. We proceeded to leave the store to drive around to their loading area. We pull up and the employees where so nice and helpful loading the bed frame. Then another issue arises: We then tried to fit the elk mount but there was no way it was too large. Michael handled it with grace adding it to our delivery for tomorrow. Thank you to the delivery guys! They were so respectful and nice. Thank you for saving our backs! Tip your delivery guys! I know my story is long but this reflects what a great company this place is. They offer both new and consigned items. The jewelry selection is so unique and great! So many vintage gems and new beauties. There are items for all kinds of budgets with that said go visit their store and make sure to walk around the entire building because the variety is extensive! Every time we visit there is always something new. My note to Consign Furniture: Keep doing what your doing because it's working! You guys are lucky to have someone like Michael working for you. He goes above and beyond, makes you feel like you valued and appreciated.

In fact, run far, far away. Even if your item sells within days, they'll go ahead and hold your payment for a full 100 days from when they put it out on the floor (for a place that doesn't allow returns, this makes zero sense). After those 100 days, they'll take their sweet time actually putting those checks in the mail, and then, surprise, surprise, somehow the check will get "lost" in the mail. They've been rude and dismissive all along, and at this point, they have stopped replying to me and it seems like they see no problem just keeping the money I'm owed. Would give negative stars if possible, and I'm baffled this place continues to exist being managed in such unethical manner.

This weekend, however, I had a very pleasant experience worth sharing. My husband and I were shopping for a recliner in advance of the arrival of our second child (due in one week). We'd had nice experiences at 3 other stores, but found the chair that met all our needs at Walkers. Made in the USA, comfortable, etc. I wasn't sure about the color though. The manager actually carried the chair outside, with my husband's help, to make sure it was the right color in natural light. It was! But they were out of stock in the warehouse. Instead of waiting several weeks, the manager sold us their floor model! And he discounted it a bit to cover any problems that might arise as a result of that. And he helped load it into the car. Then today I got a call that he'd added the extended service plan to the chair, at no cost, because he wanted to make sure we were well taken care of. This is truly above and beyond. Our sales person, who helped make the transaction easy, no-pressure and productive, explained that if we don't use the warranty, we'll end up with a significant credit to use at the store. Huh? That kind of stuff doesn't happen much. We'd gone to Walker's because they'd been around a long time and seemed less likely than many other places to disappear in a month. Now we'll go back because of the service we received and quality merchandise. What a nice surprise.

We have waited I think 8 months for a call about the replacement parts and its more broken than before. 3 years now I think or close to it waiting on repairs and this whole process.

One employee in particular, James, was incredibly unprofessional. We asked for help with a larger item, and his response was simply "okay" before walking away. After waiting for an extended period of time, he finally returned and proceeded to push past me without so much as an excuse or acknowledgment. It was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. The front-end staff were no better. The cashiers rolled their eyes, gave rude looks, and spoke in a condescending manner throughout the checkout process. As I was placing my items on the counter, the cashier appeared annoyed by my mere presence and acted like serving customers was a burden. Beyond the terrible customer service, the store itself was a mess. The aisles were overcrowded, merchandise was shoved everywhere, and the overall condition of the store felt disorganized and unsanitary. While there may be some good deals, no discount is worth being treated with such disrespect. This was one of the most unpleasant retail experiences I've had, and I will not be returning.
