I know that it was me that took Nancy T. To 3 different flooring places in the Redding area. I was with Nancy T. When the sales people helped us. We looked at many floors. We were there on two different occasions. Nancy was very happy about the flooring she picked out. I was also there at Nancy's home when the 2 men came and installed her flooring. I could see Nancy had very large deep cracks in her cement floor after the carpet was removed. The men spent a few days repairing her floors then putting down moisture barrier down on the floor, I ask the installer what he was doing and he explained it to me. All the people, in the store and the installers were very nice and respectful. I will always go back to Design Time and Tile to have my flooring bought and installed there. He came to my home, acted like a contractor, gave instructions on insulation and drywall, told us which air conditioner to buy, and even offered to return to cut a hole for an extension cord. We relied on his guidance because he presented himself as an expert. The shed delivered did not match the loft height he confirmed, and the loft is completely unusable. Fixing it would require structural changes that would damage the interior work and interfere with the electrical installation I already paid for. The installation was sloppy. The crew left tools and materials behind, including items on the roof, and tried to leave without telling me when they would return to finish the job. I was told the installation would take two days, but it dragged on with poor communication. I attempted to resolve this with Tuff Shed. They offered $1,000 -- but only if I signed a confidentiality agreement and waived all future claims. When I declined, they stopped responding. I spent over $10,000 on this project, and the shed is not usable for the purpose we clearly communicated from the beginning. I cannot recommend Tuff Shed.

I didn't want to give my business to a company that wasn't putting forth the effort to explore options to get me something that was more in line with my budget while still being aesthetically pleasing. My contractor then referred me to Antoinette at Redding Tile & Stone and I couldn't be happier. She was up front about everything from cost to function to design, and she spent a dedicated two hours with me showing me my options and making suggestions. I came into her office feeling pretty defeated knowing I wasn't going to be able to get what I wanted, but Antoinette had me smiling and excited by the end of my appointment. I still came in over budget (I think my contractor needs to re-evaluate the cost of materials) but not nearly as high as the other place, and I added a backsplash that wasn't part of the plans. Her associates Liz and Alex were so helpful when it came to looking up pricing, showing me pictures of how materials look when they're installed, and making design suggestions. I'm happy to give my business to Redding Tile & Stone because they took the time to sit with me and run the figures during the appointment while not giving me any false hope. I highly recommend Redding Tile and Stone!
