My family & I relocated to Redding back in August 2017. We met with Oscar Acosta of Redding Tuff Shed back then and purchased our shed with the understanding it would not get delivered and built until after we had some other work in our yard completed. Oscar made the entire process so easy. He made suggestions about shed size, permits and everything else we hadn't thought of and kept every promise he made to us. On December 19, 2017 we had our "She Tuff Shed" delivered and set up by Jason and his co-worker (so sorry I forgot his name!). Both guys were absolute gentlemen and so professional. They worked from the moment they arrived on site in the freezing cold, till well after dark to get my shed completed. Unfortunately, they were shorted a few shingles by the Sacramento plant, so Jason secured the roof from any possible water damage that might occur overnight and stated he'd be back the following morning to complete the job before heading off to his next build project. He showed up on schedule and got the roof done just as promised. Our shed looks great and is very well built. Jason even left me containers of "touch-up" paint for the shed. I've found it very difficult to find reliable, dependable people to complete jobs in Redding but Oscar and his team of builders proved that there are still people who put in a days work for their clients and they will always be at the top of my list. One my hobbies is mosaics. When we moved to our new home 5 years ago it had a concrete pad the former owner parked both his boat and fifth wheel on. I knew immediately that I wanted to put a Tuff Shed on it. I bought a 10 x 12 because the local building codes allowed 120 sq ft without a permit. I ordered a work bench on each side. After it was erected, I had an electrician wire it with 4 two tube flouresent lights and plenty of plugs. Working mosaics, you need water, so I put in a small sink and had a plumber hook it up. Since Redding gets pretty hot, I insulated the walls and ceilings and then had a guy put up drywall, texture and tape it and then I painted it. I installed a window AC through the wall and use a portable heater for the winter. All of this was done to code. I had an awning that used to cover one window on my house and I moved that and put it over the Tuff Shed door. I go to many yard sales in order to find materials for my mosaic projects so I have many bits and pieces of tile, so you can see from the pictures that I have tiled both work benches and back splashes. Mosaic projects require many small pieces of tesserae so I installed open wire shelving on two walls to keep my stuff organized. I can work in my Tuff Shed for 2-3 hours at a time, crank up my music, get lost in my hobby and not bother my neighbors. My son-in-law bought me some industrial mats to relieve fatigue in my legs as standing is how I work. I love my Tuff Shed. read more

Oscar met us in the office, showed us around and then discussed the options that were open to us. He has a very cool computer program which mocked up the shed we wanted, allowing us to make additions as we went. We ended up getting the Studio Pro model. The build was delayed due to supply-chain problems...the front door was backordered. The main office was great about texting me with the changes and updates. The install crew arrived on time and tore into the construction. They got it 90% put together the first day. The crew chief came back the next day to finish off a few things. So many good things about them. They were very patient with my hanging around, watching and asking questions. They let me customize the height of the workbench and the general location of the shed. I stopped by the display room in Redding and got to see a variety of sheds that are on display. Met with Oscar, the salesperson and he provided me with a complete quote for my shed, including the trim colors that match the colors of my house. He provided a great explanation of how they are built and then the final construction on my property. He did a great job in explaining the entire process and gave me the delivery date. When the installers, Ken Blackwood and his two guys got here on the delivery date the wind was blowing, it was raining on and off and they were soaked to the skin by the time they got it done. But even with the tough conditions they did a great job, the construction was excellent. The shed is great, the service is great, and I am a very satisfied customer. I ordered 2 studios from Oscar the first was delivered this week and I am delighted. Oscar was very easy to interact with, I never felt the pressure of a sale but only his expert advise when I had questions. The delivery was punctual and the crew was efficient and great to be around, they left just a tiny, tiny bit of paint spots that will be easy to cover, other than that I'd have to say %100 pleased. I've had my Tuff Shed for almost 3 years, with no problems what so ever. Until I tried to open the door one day, and could not. I talked to Oscar at the sales office, and he told me that it was still under warranty, and he would get someone to take care of the problem. Kaitlyn called the same day, and scheduled for the repairman to come out. With in a few days, Tim was on site, and before long had the door open and made the repairs. He was very professional and explained what was wrong and how to fix it. When he was done I couldn't even tell he had been there! If I ever need another shed I know who to call.
