I went into the store and asked the female sales person where the samples of Vinyl was? I looked them over and decided on a floor. I gave her the measurements of the floor. During the sales she was smiling and grinning for no apparent reason, which made me think she was being sneaky! I again asked her if the flooring was Vinyl and she again said yes. 1. The floor was not Vinyl but laminate. 2. She sold me twice the amount of flooring that I needed. When I returned the flooring and asked why did she purposely sell me the wrong product? She walked quickly over to her male co-worker who acted like a bouncer and quickly escorted me out of the store! As a Black Senior Citizen I take offence to being taken advantage of. Finally, this store lacks credibility & professionalism and I will never shop there again!

This store is pretty big inside; you would never know it by looking at it from outside. It is filled with treasures both big and small. Like any antique store (or like most), it is a bit crowded with items. Personally, I like that. You really are 'hunting' for treasures here. Yesterday I found this beautiful trinket on the floor of a booth...I would have never found it had I been in a rush. I highly recommend you take your time here. Google reviewers seem more critical of Hunt & Gather and its staff...but personally I had a very different experience. On Google, people wrote that staff was following them, being rude, and that this place was overpriced. Now...your mileage may vary...but I found the staff to be extremely kind. They would check in on me a couple times just to see if I needed help, but largely let me do my own hunting in peace. I think some items are certainly pricey and I can't quite understand why, but by and large I found the prices to be competitive. For example, you can get an entire Noritake china set (with 12 settings!) for $450. Anywhere else this could go easily for $700+. You can buy some dupes at HomeGoods for sure, but HomeGoods aint that cheap -- and I'd argue some of the pieces here are priced even more competitively than HomeGoods. I bought 3 chinoiserie vases/jars yesterday (at ~$30 a pop) and am soooo enamored by them. All in all, I'd recommend you swing by especially if you're furnishing, or refurnishing, your home. There are some really nice things here....and I think I may come by every now and then just to see what's in stock!

I have shopped Belks my whole life in different cities, looking for good reductions in items to dress up my wardrobe, nice jewelry, and quality beddings and linens. The customer service was as excellent as the products they sell, A+. And then there is this store.... I cannot understand why this store only has 1-2 cashiers working in the store at a time. There have been several times I picked out several items to purchase but did not have another 30-45 minutes to wait in the long lines. I dropped the items I intended to buy ($75.00-$300) on a random rack and had to keep my appointments elsewhere. I end up buying similar items from other stores and online, and don't go back to that Belks for 6 months. I waited 40 minutes again today, and the people waiting with me were as frustrated and disgusted as I was. This store has no respect for their customers, our needs, and our busy schedules. If your cashiers can't quickly handle Clients' payments and questions, they need more training or be assigned other duties where they don't interact with the public as much. People trying to check out also shouldn't have to wait behind people making returns. Today I waited 42 minutes to get to a cashier to pay for my items, behind 5 other customers.

I love their vibe and it's a very nice store which also has Instagram stories weekly so you can kind of see what they have in stock before you go there.
