This was my regular nail salon as it was close to my house, but each time I went it just got worse and worse. The nail techs were so rude and would sigh or argue with me whenever I wanted to change something or noticed something was off. I had to change nail techs 3 times because each one would get mad and tell me not to go too short. Even though I feel like I didn't need to explain myself, I told them that I work with kids so I can't have my nails too long. They also charge to remove cuticles! At the end of each service, I was so confused about the total because of their hidden fees. I should've stopped going here way sooner. read more

Came in today for a pedicure and a full GelX set. Cuticles were cut nicely on both my hands and feet. I got the deluxe pedicure experience, it was amazing. Had my legs and feet exfoliated with orange sugar scrub and actual oranges for vitamin C. Felt very refreshing. Also had a 10 minute massage. 10/10 experience. I absolutely hate leaving a bad review but I had to in this case. I have been to this nail salon several times in the past for pedicures because it is very close and convenient to my home. Unfortunately, the quality has never been very consistent. The nail polish tends to chip or come off very quickly, and during one previous visit they had to completely remove and repaint my nails because the color would not apply properly. Today was an especially disappointing experience. I was one of the first customers there, and throughout my visit I could hear the workers talking in Vietnamese about me being pregnant and about the fact that I only wanted a color change instead of a full pedicure. While sitting there, I also noticed they were speaking negatively about multiple customers who came through the door. After my toenails were painted, they simply left me sitting there with no communication or assistance. I did tell the worker that it is rude and unprofessional to speak negatively about customers in another language while they are present. To make matters worse, my toenail polish had already started coming off by the time I got home. Overall, this experience felt ]unprofessional and poor in quality. I will not be returning. read more

I have been coming here for the last 6 months or so and have grown to love it. I believe the prices are reasonable and cheap for the quality of nails you'll be receiving. I can't express enough that this is better than those chop shop salons that only want your money, but here they take their time to perfect your nails. I will say one thing that I have seen is the lack of employees, not sure if it's because of the economy but it does sometimes take a while to get a spot as a walk in, which is best you CALL FIRST to make sure someone is available or just make an appointment. TLDR - definitely must try. Had a great experience at LJ Nails and Lashes with my mom. We arrived late on a Tuesday (around 7 PM), but they kindly accommodated us. I called ahead of time for estimate time for a gel pedicure and gel x. They quoted me 40 minutes. I came in on a time crunch and ended up being here almost 2 hours, and she said it's cuz she had to take off my nails that were honestly already half off. During the gel x process, she actually asked me to help her by holding the handheld gel cure to glue the gel x on, not allowing me to use my free hand to finish work on my phone. Going to the salon is supposed to be a relaxing experience and yet she put me to work. I had even asked for chrome initially but quickly realized there would not be enough time for it, to which she kept pushing for it saying "I can do chrome in just 5 minutes" and then proceeded to rush my paint job. Not even 12 hours later I look down at my hands and my thumbnail is broken. I didn't do anything specific or rough that could have broken the nail either. I call the salon to which she responds to come in sometime after 12 to fix the nail. I come in at 130 and she says come back in an hour. I'm sorry but absolutely not. Luckily someone else does it and my thumbs are completely different shapes but I am over it. I will admit my French tip toes were really GOOD. But not enough to ever return here again. For the record I do my own gel x but after a day of moving, I convinced myself to get a gel x here, and got the opposite of the experience I was looking for. The gel x here is NOT worth the price, the attachment to the actual nail is not done correctly and there should be no bubbles. I know this set will not last me long at all, clearly as one nail had already broken shortly after. Really disappointed I wasted my time and money here. She even blew the nail remnants in my face w the towel and whether it was an accident or not she did not care, at all :-) read more

I was in the area and wanted try out this place cause they have 4.0 rating, well I never thought this would happen, came in I had no appt waited for an 1hr to get seated im pretty patient so it was fine. I was getting my pedicure and eyebrows waxing done, for pedicure just felt rushed not worth the money but the problem comes in on the eyebrow, I've been getting them done for over 10 years already and have never felt this much pain in my life. As the lady with glasses was doing them she kept telling me I have thick eyebrows and my hair is really strong, now I know she was making excuses because she pulled my skin off. I didn't realize till the next day I took pics of the scars but the day of my eyebrows were burning, sensitive, and puffy with irritation plus I had seen my eyebrows were different shaped as shown on pics. She didn't even apologize but make an excuse that it was me with my very thick eyebrows. I would really like a refund cause this is unacceptable this is like reportable I was literally crying of pain and my scars are so embarrassing I would have never paid if I saw the scars day of getting them done. read more

Service: Collagen Spa Pedicure with Gel Nail Technician: Cici....but is supervised by Jenny Initially, the service and quality was great until mid-way through. I like the fact that they outline what you get on the Collagen Spa Pedicure and you can follow along and see what it was they are doing or applying at each step. However, my main problem is that they applied the Collagen Cream Mask and the Collagen Muscle-Relaxing Gel together and only on my calves. In which, that defeats the purpose of the mask, since the feet is where the moisture is mostly needed. As for the muscle-relaxing gel, it wasn't massaged in, but only applied on and remove. I believe, to save time, the tech combined these two steps so that they can polish my toe nails while the product needs time to absorb with the warm towel. When I had mentioned these issues to the receptionist/lash technician, she was sort of apologetic but said that I should have told the nail tech, she was sure that if I had said something, they would have accommodated the request. I had told her that it was my first time and expected that the technician would do right by the service that was outlined on their pamphlet and that I had paid for. To be honest, the tech did apply the Collagen Massage Lotion, but I don't recall her using the Collagen Serum Lotion. read more

Walked in and was told to wait a couple minutes for someone, ended up waiting over 30 min and someone else then walked in with an appt and manager then told me she would need to attend her first even though I had waiting almost 45 min for someone to attend me.
