Kelly A.

Came in as a walk-in a little after 10 AM because my sister saw Viva Nails on Instagram and they were having a $55 gel mani + pedi deal. DEAL! We only waited about 5 minutes before getting seated at the pedicure chairs. I was helped pretty much right away, but my sister ended up sitting there for about an hour before someone got to her. We totally get that we walked in and there can be a wait. The only thing was, since they sat us both down, I ended up finishing my service and waiting another hour for my sister. If we knew ahead of time, we probably would've just done something else while waiting. I also noticed the same thing other reviews mentioned about the time management. I heard multiple people ask how long the wait was and get told "10-15 minutes," along with "as soon as we have a chair, we'll seat you." I just felt bad for the people who were expecting a quick wait. As for my nails... they look pretty from afar. Up close, you can see that my fingernails and toenails weren't completely covered with polish. My fingernails were at least cut nice and straight. The toes were a different story. My total was the advertised $55 deal. My sister had gel removed and added polka dots, so hers came out to $75. Would we come back? Mmmm... maybe not. Was it a good price? Of course! Overall, it honestly wasn't a bad experience and my fingernails look cute. I think the biggest issue for us was just the wait and the time management.

Gel manicure

I came across this salon on tik tok, someone was promoting their mani/pedi special. I decided to give them a try...the nail tech that worked on my manicure did a good job, she was nice and gentle. The one that worked on my pedicure, she was nice but was pretty rough on the feet. If you're going to visit for the special just remember salons always have a price increase in something, the calluses remover was extra and that wasn't listed on their menu. I understand removal of previous color cost more, that's usually normal at all nail salons. I wouldn't want to say it was the best service I received but it was decent for the price I paid.

2 star because the lady who did my pedi was soo sweet, and kept making sure I was okay.. but the one who did my manicure was rough & hurt my skin. I had to pull back my hand a few times because I couldn't endure my skin getting shaved off. She also let me walk out with both hands like this.. she was just like "ok finished." I was confused. My finger tips were really oily and the rest of my hands had leftover nail dust all over. I've never been sent out of a nail salon like this before..sadly, I won't be going back. There's so many nail salons around me and I really wanted to like this one since it's close to me, but having me walk out like this really showed me that she did not care. $120 is not a cheap or fast service. I left feeling really confused.

I had an awesome experience here. I saw a post from TikTok $55 for medi and pedicure with gel. And yes, it's true! The service is amazing Thank you Katie & Amy!!! High recommend this place for good deals.

Not smooth polish!

Not sure what all the hype is about this place! I decided to give it a try after seeing it on Instagram, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The pedicure itself was okay, but the polish job was not good at all. All I wanted was a smooth, clean polish with simple square-shaped nails. Instead, the polish was left with noticeable bumps, and the nail tech kept rounding out the edges even though I wanted them square. For the hype, I expected much better attention to detail. Definitely won't be returning.

Had an amazing experience at Viva Nails and Lashes! I brought in a fun cat/paw print design concept, and they executed it flawlessly. Amy did such an incredible job with the cat nail art, her precision and attention to detail are amazing. 10/10 recommend asking for Amy at Viva Nails and Lashes!

Found a new nail salon! This salon is located in a strip plaza with plenty of parking. They've been open for 11 months and have a great deal - it's $55 for a mani and pedi I believe! I went in for gelx with Tianna and her work is super detailed. She looked at my inspo photo and asked me each step what color and flowers I wanted to make sure it's exactly how I like it. Nina's the manager and she makes all of her customers feel so welcomed. Very nice and loves being up to date with the holidays in decor. She never stops trying to improve the shop! The ladies never stop cleaning here and the pedicure sets are individually packed for cleanliness. I'd be back!

Mani with extra on design

Viet owned and very nice accommodating staff! The lash tech is a working mother so it's great to support a small business. Got my lashes (and nails) done here and love the end result! They're currently running a promotion on nails $55 gel for mani and gel deluxe for pedi. As well as $109 bundle deal for mani, pedi, and lashes. Although extra designs cost extra, they were willing to give some type of discount. They have a range of colors to choose from too! And will constantly ask you how you think of your nails/lashes to ensure you're satisfied. Restroom could've been cleaner but honestly their affordable services make up for it!

Service was quick whether there was an appointment or not. The service and employees were kind & quick. They had a Groupon and they just subtracted from the actual service amount based on the color type or design you wish. Came here with my sister for the first time for nice gel x cat eye manicure and came another time for a gel pedicure. I'd come back again for a cute little cat eye gel manicure or something again.

Kim is the best!!! She's so sweet. She takes her time & very detailed. Amy was also very helpful. I loved my cat eye nails Great music playing in the background

Got a full set today and was so disappointed, they made my nails pointed up I'm so upset horrible service!

They left me with my nails pointed up and I kept telling the girl and she kept saying they were fine! So disappointed and never coming back!

First time ever walking into a nail salon as a guy, I was a little awkward at first. I got a pedicure with callus remover. I'm on my feet a lot for work, so my heels were pretty rough, but they handled it like pros. Now my feet feel soft, clean. The place is clean, chill, and the staff made me feel comfortable. 10/10 experience. Just go. Your feet will thank you 5/5

I'm trying to determine how I feel about my experience as a I write this. I called ahead of time to get pricing and availability. I am very very picky when it comes to my nails. I've been going to the same person for 10 years we moved last year and found myself having to look for a new nail tech. I asked for gel pedicure & new set with thin French tip. I made sure to tell my nail tech one of my nails was slanted more towards one side twice. I also made sure to tell her I did not want to see the nail bed underneath as she was placing the powder. That was addressed. Shortly after both comments were made they started speaking their native tongue which of course I don't understand what I could understand was "picky" & "design" My issue is the actual french tip. All of the tips are a different thickness and they are not aligned to the same of the nail as far as thickness goes. There's inconsistencies on just about all my nails. Once she did the first nail she said "you see, very pretty I can do" & giggled My other issue is the shape of my toe nails, yes they were short going in but I didn't ask for round toe nails. Not a place I would return.

It seems that, in a defunct medical industrial complex that does not serve the patient, this Walgreens is committed to putting patients first. The star pharmacist there is Pendleton. Yep, you heard right! Like the warm, flannel Pendleton that ensures warmth and security, Pendleton gives you his precious time in a timeless way. A good listener is the key to advocating for your own health. He gets it!!! Recently, had a prescription filled and it came back generic. The generic scip is not equal to the brand. PERIOD! He returned my call and we talked. He made it happen. I don't know about you, but one of the best things in life is to have an excellent Pharmacist. He is King! Go see him!!!

Very Disappointing Pharmacy Experience - Poor Customer Service and Lack of Support…read more I recently had a very disappointing experience with this Walgreens pharmacy, particularly regarding prescription pricing and customer service. I wasn't feeling well on the day I picked up my prescription, so I didn't pay much attention to the price. I trusted that my insurance information had been processed correctly, paid the amount requested, and left. Later, when I reviewed my prescription history, I was shocked to discover that the price had increased by approximately 380% compared with what I had previously paid for the same medication. I also discovered that a prescription discount program was offering the same medication at this very Walgreens location for over 80% less than what I had paid. What disappointed me most wasn't simply the price increase. It was the complete lack of guidance and willingness to help. In my previous experiences with other pharmacies, pharmacists have often proactively suggested GoodRx or other prescription discount programs when insurance does not cover a medication or when the out-of-pocket cost is unusually high. I have received this helpful advice several times without even asking. Unfortunately, the staff at this Walgreens offered no such guidance. When I later approached the pharmacy staff and manager to explain the situation, they were not helpful. Their response was simply that the transaction had already been completed and nothing could be done. I subsequently escalated my concerns through Walgreens Customer Relations. Unfortunately, that experience was equally disappointing. The responses felt so scripted and impersonal that I genuinely wondered whether I was communicating with an automated system rather than someone who understood my concerns. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter through the pharmacy, management, and the escalation process, I received no meaningful assistance or resolution. A pharmacy should be more than a place that dispenses medications and collects payments. Patients visit pharmacies because they need healthcare, and sometimes they are unwell, stressed, or simply unaware of available prescription savings programs. I understand that pharmacists may not be responsible for finding every available discount. However, I believe reasonable guidance, compassion, and a willingness to help should be basic expectations of customer service in a pharmacy. My advice to other customers: If your insurance fully covers your medication, your experience may be different. However, if your medication is not covered or you are paying out of pocket, I strongly recommend comparing prices and considering another pharmacy before using this location. Do not assume that using your insurance automatically gives you the best price. This experience has completely changed my opinion of this Walgreens location. After the lack of support from both the pharmacy staff and management, I have decided to move my future prescriptions to CVS on Ball & Walker. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make their own informed decisions.

Happy to have one in Pasadena, as I've been looking into more alternate options to reduce waste. They have all kinds of items, including conditioner bars which have worked great. They have all kinds of items you can use to lessen plastics and waste in your bathroom and kitchen like wool dryer balls, detergent, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner bars, bee wax paper to use to store food, and so much more! Check their website for more items. I called to ask some questions, and they were incredibly knowledgeable and let me know everything I needed to know so you can tell they are passionate about zero waste. There's streetside parking alongside target, and I think there is parking lot next to the store itself- which I didn't see until I was driving past it, so there's that too I believe? I came in 10 minutes before they closed (mainly because I had to rush to work to catch them before they closed) and they were very nice and let me know I could take my time. I wasn't rushed at all and I was able to buy my conditioner bar with no problems! Will be back to try their other products!

It's a small place - and street parking can be tricky. But I was fortunate to get a spot right out front. I stepped inside and saw the various containers of products and was pleased. Not only were there things that I use every day, but the prices were ridiculously affordable. Isela (theeee sweetest person) gave me a brief, but thorough "tour" that was absolutely fascinating. She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. And I met her husband and best friend, who happened to be in the store. Simply delightful. I think this is going to be another one of my "happy" places.
