I was surprised by how few veteran-owned nail salons there were, so when I found Trendy Nail & Spa, I knew that was the place. I stopped by in person to make a reservation for four. The owner was was incredibly welcoming, and even though they were fully booked on what looked like a very busy Saturday, he made room for my group. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Even with a full salon, the place never felt rushed or chaotic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and were genuinely happy to be there, which I knew it would contribute to my friends' experience to be even more enjoyable. The ladies had an amazing time, and their manicures and pedicures turned out absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and customer service were outstanding. This place gets a 10 out of 10 from our military family. If you're looking for a salon with great people, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service, Trendy Nail & Spa is the place to go. Semper Fi! This place is the most unprofessional and racist place I've seen. I took my Hispanic girlfriend to this place me being black they had me pay before doing any work. Now I see 6-7 different people sitting In there chairs and 5 people came up and PAID AFTER the work is done... manager is a dick and a lying piece of shit on the phone he told me 22$ for the pedicure and 5 more for gel, not only did the say that he charged me 10$, gel is a common Preference why not have just a flat fee of $32 for your pedicure? It just doesn't make sense. I get a lady who 1 didn't even do my girlfriend toes right had to have her redo it. She charged 35$ for that also wasnt the price I was told on the phone 27$ was it. Let's talk about the nails now that's TROUBLE!! Go there and look at the price it's 40$ and 5 dollars extra for gel. We paid 63$ for the finger nails they charged us 10$ for the gel also they charge 13$ more for size now the size isn't long it's normal. I rather go to this other place we've used and pay 135$ thought paying couple dollars less I would maybe receive some good work but this place is a piece of shit racist little motherfuckers running it fuck them ALL!! read more

I love this place and so does my wife. At first, I didn't want to do manicure and pedicure here because I thought that men don't have to do it here. But when the staff here said they can do it for men, then my wife wanted me to try it. The skills and techniques of the staff here is very good, they do it very clean and gentle, unlike my wife or myself. Then a corner was taken off one of my toenails, half of them are uneven, parts of the nails don't have enough glitter flakes, and my large toenail didn't get filed or taken off properly and looks like I have stuff under it. I paid for a deluxe but there was absolutely nothing done that was in addition to a regular pedicure....no paraffin wax, callous removal, etc. When we were finishing up, I asked Lisa if I could use the restroom. She said yes but when I asked the Bosslady where it was she said they didn't have a working bathroom. Interesting. I will not be returning.

I send friends here, recommend them to whoever asks about my set, and always brag about each tech I get. Usually I'm calling in randomly and last minute asking to come in, so I'm never picky with the techs and they're always able to get me in every time right away. They save my nails and me 10x over and they don't even know it!! They offer complimentary drinks and are always so friendly. I've gotten dozens of long gelx sets here over the years and can say I've rarely ever broken a nail or gotten cut. The gel is always perfectly cured and my designs are PERFECT. Every tech who does my nails envisions my ideas to a T. And it means a lot because my designs are usually not easy to do. With that being said, the price is always reasonable and always around what I'm expecting to spend. There's never any blindsiding or miscommunication when it comes time to pay. And the lil discount for paying in cash always adds the cherry on top. My sets last over a month so I'm coming in like clockwork every 4-5 weeks without miss. When I pointed out that the flowers were supposed to be pink and purple, she appeared frustrated about having to redo them. I apologized for the misunderstanding and explained that I thought the white was just the base color that would be painted over. After that, I felt uncomfortable with how my service was handled. While doing my cuticle work, the technician nicked my skin twice, and toward the end of the service seemed to be digging the cuticle cutter into my fingers more aggressively. I brought the cuts to management's attention before leaving. I also had concerns about the pricing. My total was $122, and I was told I was receiving a $7 discount, bringing the total to $115. However, the salon advertises a cash discount, and when I offered to pay cash, I was told I could not receive the cash discount because I was already receiving the $7 discount from fingers being cut. This was confusing and did not feel transparent. To be fair, I do like how my nails turned out, and I tipped both technicians because I appreciated the work that was done. However, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the final result. I have experienced similar issues here before, and after this visit I don't feel comfortable returning. I've included photos of the cuts on my fingers as well as the finished nails so others can make their own judgment. I also included a photo from a previous time my cuticle was cut that I brought to their attention which hurt very bad and received a $5 discount.
