I really enjoyed my experience at Sassy nails. It was clean and well organized. They had a decent selection of colors in my opinion, I saw another review who said they were a little limited. I only got a pedicure today but I was told that their main nail tech who specializes in designs works on Sundays. Tina did my pedicure and she was very pleasant. I am shy at the nail salon and she did a great job at filling in the quiet areas of conversation. She also was honest with me when I chose a color saying it was a little light for my nails. Update: my nails didn't last a week. The next day after I got my nails done, one of them broke in half (no idea how, I just looked down at my nail and it was half gone). I went back and they fixed it for free while I got a gel pedicure. Day 3, the next nail completely fell off. Day 5, another nail fell off and half of the gel polish on my toes had completely fallen off as well. Day 10, two more had fallen off and I had to take the rest off, which came off extremely easy. Super disappointed because I loved my experience in store, but the product just doesn't last. read more

Messaged on Yelp and was quickly responded to . They were able to have me and my daughter come in before the shop opened . They are super nice and made good conversation while getting our nails done . There were a few reasons why I didn't give this a perfect 5 stars 1. It wasn't until I heard the owner talking that they are cash only . During Covid times a lot of businesses have stated that they are credit or debit . They did not disclose this to me prior to my appointment and instead directed me to a smoke shop ( mind you I have a 9 year old with me ) to use their atm . So after my nails were done .. I had to walk over with my 9 year old into a smoke shop and incur a fee to withdraw funds . 2. The lady made my daughters polish thick and 10 minutes after getting home , her pedicure was smudged . 3. It felt rushed . I felt like corners were cut to get us in and get us out . I wanted to relax and enjoy my time with my little one but they had my feet soaking for almost an hour before they started my pedicure . The water was cold and my toes were wrinkly . I also felt like no attention was given to the cuticle areas. It states on here that staff wears gloves , however the gentleman who did my nails was not wearing gloves . It was ok . Nothing special . But good for a quick set. I wouldn't return here due to the inconvenience of having to take by child to a smoke shop to get cash . Also , I just felt like they could have done better . Would you like to nails done while three people work on 5 clients at the same time? This is your place! I had come here a few months ago as at the time it had very good reviews and my experience was pleasant. I meant to write a review but figured I'd do it the next time I'd go. Unfortunately the second time was terrible and is on par with the last three reviews that have been written for this place. It started off fine. I went in without an appointment. There was only one other client in and she was getting a pedicure and acrylics done. So the oldest worker helped with my manicure. She seemed kind enough, doesn't speak much English at all. However when she finished cutting, filing, and moving the cuticles, I was horrified. Not all the nails were even, I attached a picture of the one that I was most shocked with. How do you even think it's okay to leave a nail like that? Some were very straight and other nails she backed off the edge of my nail and went to deep into my cuticle. Anyways at the end of it she hadn't even asked if I wanted color to which when I mentioned she seemed annoyed. Meanwhile, a couple came in saying they had an appointment. Yikes. The only three workers were already working on someone. Not a problem they said! So they lady who was working on me, without using words cause she doesn't speak English well, said that the male working on the girl who was before me would finish the job. She went to work on the couple, taking he cart of things, which by the way, I don't think she disinfected her tools between me and the next client. So I sat there for a good five or so minutes until he came over. Oh forogt to mention another walk in came in after the couple and rather than asking her to wait (which is what most nail places would've done) they sat her down and made her wait a good time on the pedicure seat. The man was rude to her when she was asking about french dips saying "We don't do that here" and when she asked for warmer water he responded but saying "well I need to dump out all this water". In addition, he left the client he was working on even though he wasn't finished with to help me out. When he came to help me he was very dry and rude. Luckily he was able to fix my botched up nails and made them straight and did a fine job at painting them. However I left the place extremely uncomfortable and unsatisfied. A shame since I literally live 3 minutes away. I will make sure to tell my friends and any tourists to not visit this place. read more
