Larry is amazing! I called him to arrange an appointment for furnace repair and told him I had done some of my own troubleshooting first and was unable to solve the issue. He actually asked me what steps I took and then offered a couple of additional things to check. It turned out my 24v Blue wire to the thermostat from the furnace control was not connected, it had somehow come loose. Larry at LJ Mechanical made time to come to my home the Friday I called, as my central heater suddenly stopped working the evening before. He took the time to check my thermostat to make sure it worked, and cleaned the build up off the batteries. I had new batteries, and he put them in for me. It turned out that the central heater needed a new harness and blower motor. He came back to my house on Monday afternoon. The owner, Larry, finalized my HVAC system (furnace in the attic and AC on the patio). Due to a manufacturing glitch, Larry upgraded the AC brand from Payne to Carrier. During the furnace install, the attic access had to be widened. With that, the wood and sheet rock opening had to be torn down, along with paint, and custom bull-nose trim. Even on the hottest day this far...Larry still picked up the phone when I called in the morning. I was surprised, but thankful. Larry and his team had to be extremely busy that day, but he found time in between jobs to check out the unit. He stopped by in the evening to check out the reason why our AC unit was not working.
