Lizzano's makes it really difficult not to indulge in pasta, which I haven't done in years - but it is so darn tasty here I just can't help myself. Not to mention - chocolate bread pudding with chocolate sauce! It calls my name all too frequently. I am lucky to have such a wonderful Italian family-owned restaurant so close to home. Lizzano's serves an amazing Greek Salad with a signature basil dressing that's so yummy, you will be challenged not to pick up your bowl and lick it clean. Pretty unique and delish, as is their tomato based dressing which I recently bought a jar of for around the house. I also find their Italian Wedding Soup and Tomato Basil Soup very good and filling. Of special note, they have evening specials that usually includes a fish dish or two with fresh veggies (if avoiding pasta). Prices are very reasonable but remember to bring cash (cash only, no credit). Best part, BYOB! Great spot, though small, to meet with friends and enjoy a causal atmosphere with home-cooked Italian food. Even if you're not a bread pudding fan, you should try it once. read more

Had the meat lovers pizza and it was great! Huge slices with lots of meats. Would recommend.

I saw this place on my way home and got cheese lasagna with a side salad and brownie and cannoli best Italian food ever it's a hidden gem definitely a returning customer. read more

Absolutely the best pizza!!! The prices are really great as well. We ordered half pepperoni, half loaded. Awesome!!! The spaghetti with meat sauce is REALLY good. Prices were excellent as well. The soda tasted off as well as the tea and lemonade. I believe it must be the water. It is a BYOB, so I will try to bring my own "drinks" next time. Cash only!!!! It is so worth the drive and time. Give this place a try and let me know what you think..... read more

Our go to local pizza place, but all their entrees are great too. We usually roll with meatball pizza or cheese and jalapenos. They even catered my mom's wedding. Everything is delicious, a must try! read more

I don't normally leave many reviews , lazily I will admit but I just had to for this pizza place, so here goes... Little hole in the wall, would never have found it with out yelp. The pizza, amazing! Read all the Yelp reviews and was a little worried it wouldn't meet my expectations and they were pretty high due to all the great reviews. I can't exactly pinpoint what it was that I love so much about this pizza but it was so flavorful and perfect in so many ways! I'm a bit of a pizza holic and quite a critic of pizza. Some of my pizza pet peeves are... Small pizzas usually means barely any pizza, mostly crust. -_- Not here! So much pizza and so little crust but still enough to enjoy the delicious crust they do have! I love thin crusts, but hate when the slice is too floppy and all the ingredients fall off -_- But not here! Hate when you pay for a topping and there is only a few Pieces of your chosen topping. -_- Don't need to worry about that here They're so generous with the topping! Over all, a MUST try! read more

I've come for lunch here a few times, and ordered catering a few times. Sooo great! They always have good portions and prices. The rolls - definitely fight worthy. And altho, I ordered way too much pizza for my group - zero slices left! Fresh, Fast, Fair pricing - What more could you ask for? This place is the true meaning of "hidden gem". read more

Tucked away in a little shopping center in the north side of Euless is this little gem. It's easy to overlook. I've lived in this area for nearly five years and never paid any attention to this little joint. When my friend recommended it for pizza, I was hesitant about coming here; it's cash only and BYOB. I tried some of the pizza which was okay, but I ordered their special of the day which was cheese ravioli in a creamy sauce. It was absolutely delicious. My son who'd already eat a couple of slices of pizza actually stole my plate away and finished it off! This is not your regular neighborhood Italian restaurant with the standard in the box garlic rolls. There is definitely some love going into the food that is made here and you can taste it. I highly recommend this place to anyone in this area. If you don't have cash, there's an ATM at the 7-Eleven in this shopping center. While you're there, grab some cheap wine to go with your pasta or a beer to wash your pizza down with :) read more

First time here, and I have to say I was very impressed. Food was delicious. Everything from the wings, pizza to the complimentary bread and cheesecake was amazing. The service was amazing as well. Love the atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back frequently as a regular. read more

We moved into the area and saw this lovely restaurant. We weren't sure how good this place was, but our folks stopped by one day to grab a pizza. It was an extra large pizza and it was absolutely great!! I would recommend anyone who is a pizza lover to try this restaurant. I would love to try and dine in sometime instead of taking it to go. I'm definitely a lover of Italian food and I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. read more

Wow! This is the second time I order the cheese pizza and do not regret it.. The taste is consistent so far and the portions are big. Cash only and worth it.. read more

Ordered calzones and a few dishes from here before and they weren't bad. In fact, the calzone was great. Their pizza is a different story: Not New York-style, cardboard crust that is hard to chew and the pizza is GREASY. The kind of greasy that makes you sick. The toppings on the supreme weren't even cooked. If you're on a quest for good, New York-style pizza, keep looking. This will only ruin your day. Don't be fooled by the photos online!!! read more

I'm originally from Philadelphia. When I moved to Euless eight years ago, I was in for a huge culture shock. You see, back in Philly, you can find a little local mom n pop pizza place on every corner. We are drowning in pizza. But here in Euless...well, I had very few choices that weren't the major Domino's, Papa's, The Hut. I was wandering through a pizza desert. Then I found Lizzano's. I admit, I have had nothing but the pizza there. The pizza reminds me of home. Thin crust, doughy delicious edge, foldable, cheesy, a thin swath of sauce. It's home. I've only found one place better and that's in Dallas, which is too far to go on a regular basis. So, when I need my Northeast style pizza fix, it is inevitably Lizzano's. They only take cash, which as a small business owner I totally understand, so hit up the ATM before you go. Ask 'em to sprinkle a little oregano over the top. Trust me, you'll like it. read more

Love this place. I was raised on nyc pizza so I am very particular about the pizza I eat. This place gets pretty close! Our favorite part is the people. We love this little place and order almost every Friday. One suggestion - ask for no chocolate sauce on the tiramisu. It ruins it. read more

This is a jewel worth finding in Euless. Tucked away in a small suite behide 7-11, these people know good italian food. Cash only and BYOB Get the Greek salad, it's delish. Eggplant Parmesan is my favorite. The pizza is fabulous! Get the large so you can take the left overs home. read more

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday for lunch. It's a small restaurant located in a tiny off the beaten path strip center. I went with two other people and we all had the $4.95 lunch special. The meal came with freshly made bread and a generous portion salad. There are a few different entree choices but we all had spaghetti. It was delicious with perfectly seasoned sauce and meatballs. The portions were huge and only one of us (me) was able to finish the entire meal. The $4.95 price is pretty amazing. The service was friendly and very attentive. I work nearby and have eaten at most of the other Italian restaurants in the area. I would not put any of them in the same category as this place. Lizzano's has a great casual atmosphere and I plan to make the drive from Denton to come back for dinner. It's BYOB so you can bring your own bottle of wine. read more

I was so excited to try this place when i read the amazing reviews on yelp. So we ordered delivery - Greek Salads, Eggplant park, chicken alfredo, cheesecake, and bread pudding. I was so excited when the first bite of greek salad lived up to every expectation i had. We both agreed it was hands down the best greek salad ever! Plus hot baked yeast rolls .... YUMMY! The truth of rumors regarding the salad made me very excited to dig in to the eggplant. The first bite was great and then i started getting an odd tingle in my mouth. Each bite it got worse and worse till my mouth felt like i had eaten a bowl of vinegar. My husband had the same experience, i'm not sure what caused it but it was a bummer. The alfredo was good, it wasn't as heavy as a lot of alfredos but was bland and needed something to give it pizzaz. Then it was dessert time. The cheesecake was good - it seemed store bought so nothing to write home about. The chocolate bread pudding was bland and had raisins (i think they were raisins) that gave it an odd fruity taste at times. We are going to go back for sure at least for that amazing salad and next time will try the margarita pizza that everyone is crazy about. read more

Lizzano's serves some of the best NY style, pizza by the slice in DFW. I've also enjoyed many of their fresh pasta dishes like cannelloni and lasagna. Others in my party really like Chicken/Eggplant Aristocrat and Chicken Murphy. The medium sized dining room accommodates large groups, small groups, couples, kids, co-workers, young, young-at-heart, and everything in between. I visit Lizzano's several times a month because the food, service, and prices make it an enjoyable experience. read more

Read about this place on Next Door and decided to try it. Has spaghetti and meat space which was very flavorful. Supreme pizza was excellent. Homemade New York style with plenty of meat. One slice is a gracious plenty. Will definitely be back. Another advantage is that it is a BYOB. read more

So I ordered some pizzas here. I hear their Italian food is amazing, but I was in the mood for Pizza. I will not be ordering pizza from here again...the pizza is SUPER thin and its extremely greasy. It was edible and very large so I guess if you are looking for your moneys worth its worth a try, but as far as pizza goes I give it about a 2 on a 10 scale. read more

The food is always good! Check out the daily special, always a good choice. Usually we get take out, however, on a whim we decided to eat in. The dining area was fairly warm and by the end of the meal it was downright uncomfortable. However, don't let this discourage you. The food is the reason to visit. The staff is good too. Usually family members are the wait staff, but if Mom is there, she makes certain you're taken care of! read more

Just moved into a new apartment very close to this place. Since moving, I've already been here twice. On the first occasion I had their Supreme pizza. It was a thin crust pizza with all the usual suspects that come on a Supreme pizza. Overall, the pizza was good and I would like to try some of their others, including the Alfredo pizza, Chef's pizza (grilled chicken, artichokes and tomatoes) and the Ranch pizza (grilled chicken, basil and mozzarella). On my second trip I had the beef tortellini in alfredo sauce. Ill admit I wasn't sure what tortellini was and went out on a limb. It ended up being very good and the alfredo sauce is definitely worth trying on any of their pastas. They also had some great specials. Prices are very reasonable. My tortellini meal was 8.61 after taxes (no drink) and an extra large supreme pizza was around 16 dollars. All in all this is a great place where the people remember who you are and genuinely love owning a restaurant. I will definitely be back. Also....it's BYOB read more

Lizanno's Delivers to the Hyatt Regency DFW! I put this right up front because if you are attending a convention at the Hyatt Regency, you know that you can't (and don't want to) eat every meal in the hotel restaurant and that there are precious few places that deliver (often with ridiculously high delivery charge) Lizanno's delivery minimum is $10 and if they have a delivery fee it is only a few bucks, but you'll have to remember 1 slightly inconvenient thing - They only take cash I ordered from Lizanno's twice while in DFW and tried many of their offerings: the cheese pizza; a specialty pizza with chicken, garlic and tomato and artichoke (in a red sauce, not the one in ranch) the garlic bread with cheese, and the Chicken Murphy. The pizza's were all great. New York style crust, nice flavor, real mozzarella, sauce a little sweet and very tasty. The Chicken Murphy was also amazing with a pink sauce, a bit spicy, with tender, pounded chicken that melts in your mouth. The prices are insanely inexpensive too. XL pizza was like $13 Pasta Dinner with Garlic Bread was $10 This place had really good food at super fair prices and they deliver. If they would only step into the future and begin taking credit cards, they would be a 5 start establishment. Order from them next time you are in the DFW area. You won't regret it. read more

Amazing pizza. So good. Crust was out of this world, cheese was on point, toppings all over, sauce... oh man... alfredo or merrnerr, you can't go wrong. 100% devine. read more

Lizzanos is hands down the best restaurant in our area. My husband and I have been there a few times and it really is our ideal weekday or date night spot. Helpful hints: CASH ONLY (as others have stated), the atmosphere is very "hole in the wall" which may not be what people are looking for (they have florescent lights!) and this is family owned. We have come here a few times to know what works for us, I will admit that the Greek Salad with the basil dressing is my favorite salad I have ever eaten. It is worth writing home about and I recommend it to everyone I know. So fresh and flavorful. It gives the vibe that everything was picked and then mixed right then and there. In our experience the pasta is not that great. That is the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review. It is drowned in sauce and the pasta is always a little over cooked. Just skip the pasta. Their pizza is where the magic happens. The margerita pizza with pepperoni is hands down the best pie I have ever had the pleasure of eating. So fresh and wonderful. Cannoli - just try it, you wont regret it! read more

The vegetarian pizza is amazing! But ask to add some Jalapeño to it to get the perfect flavor.

It is a wonderful restaurant! The food is authentic and very delicious. i highly recommend Lizzano's Pizza!

We read the reviews online and thought we would give this place a try. Don't get me wrong I love family owned and run restaurants. However, we weren't that impressed. The food was hot and my husband had the chicken parmigiana. I was really hoping the pasta would be fresh but it was not. The chicken was good. My daughter got the pasta Alfredo and it was average. Again, being a family owned place I really thought the pasta would be fresh. I must've been mistaken. Anyway, we won't be going back. I'm very sad about it actually. read more

We eat here all the time and we love it. I'm a creature of habit and generally get the beef lasagna, which is really a nice generous portion and ... I wouldn't say ... your typical lasagna. It's a little lower to the ground, but hey, different is good, to me at least. Oh also, it's yummy. The Greek Salad is a nice complement to the pasta and man, they don't skimp on the feta. I feel pretty safe in recommending that you take half of your generous lasagna portion home so that you'll have room for the chocolate bread pudding. If you're sharing it, hold your spoon firmly and lean forward so you can actually get a bite before your dining companion wolfs the dang thing down. Yeah. It's that friggin good. This is an authentic family Italian place ... and they treat you like family. If they don't, you're probably creepy or mean or something. Come back more than once and they'll remember where you sat and probably what you liked most. Real nice people. Don't let them down by not trying this place at least once. read more

Folks, if you haven't discovered Lizzano's, you're missing one of the jewels of the Mid-Cities. The Marinara here is exquisite, and the fried calamari is to die for. Not greasy, with two sauces for dipping, you'll eat it all in one sitting. My wife's pizza (the Supreme) was so good and not doughy. My canneloni was perfect, with spinach, ricotta and beef. Get the garlic bread with cheese. Caesar salad is just the way I want: dressing on the side cuz I don't like a lot of dressing. If you're out for lunch during the week, lunch specials are $4.95 with a salad and bread. Cash only, but it's worth it. read more
