Amazing little family owned place. The pizza tasted delicious and fresh. We were greeted very warmly. Our drinks never stayed empty. If you are looking for a more authentic pizza feel, then this is the spot for you. We really like Ti Amo. It is a little Italian restaurant. No frills, nothing fancy but a clean, old school, kind of divey, family Italian restaurant that you would probably never stumble upon unless someone tells you about it. We went there for lunch and it was quiet. I think the Italian lady who waited on us was the owner, but am not 100% sure. She was very nice and helpful. I got the spaghetti and meatballs which was really good. She brought us fresh warm bread to start which was great. The pricing may be the best part. We had a drinks, bread, a big Caesar salad and two entree meals and our bill was $27. In a world where everything is getting so expensive, this was a bargain. We also love supporting small local family restaurant as opposed to all the giant chain restaurants around now. I definitely recommend Ti Amo. read more

Good food. BUT...the prices on the web site and the prices on the yelp menu don't come close to what we were chargied. Example, linguini with white sauce , menu price $7+. We were charged $17+. All items we ordered were many dollars above advertised prices. This was a pickup order. When we asked why the price difference, we were told by the cashier they Lost the password for for the web site and could not update it. ??? Never going back. Be careful when you order here. The only thing good about this restaurant is the service. Our server was great. It's an Italian restaurant which didn't have oil and vinegar for your salad. They did have cooking oil and lemon juice. The salad was just a little lettuce. The food only barely acceptable. Ya'll remember those little oval shaped bowls we used to get at lunch places with Italian food for lasagna. That's what they used. For 5-6 dollars for lunch ok but not here. It's not billed as fast food. The meat barely there. It's not a I have to come back again restaurant. read more

I've been eating Ti Amo delivered for over 10 years. In that time they're prices have doubled. I paid $50 for 2 salads, 2 spaghetti and garlic bread. I could eat at Carrabas or Italiannis for less with better food. Disappointing, time to find another Italian place read more

Looking for really good eggplant parmigiana and tried this place. I also ordered the garlic bread. The garlic bread has some weird coloring to it, like a thin layer of pasta sauce(?). Not garlicky and not buttery. The parmigiana was very hot and the sauce was okay. The eggplant did not appear to be breaded at all, however. That's kind of the whole point of the dish, right? It was edible but the meal left me confused and unsatisfied. read more

Choices for dressing were Ranch, which was less than enthusiastic and House Dressing which was alright. "Pizza Bread" was half a French bread topped lightly with a red sauce and mozerella cheese. Pasta Trio kinda wimpy, but for the price nothing to complain about. Chicken Piccata (my dish!) tasted great! But does it always come with marinara sauce on the pasta? The marinara sauce was my only "issue" (price is the factor) because I do not prefer the sauces to mix together. I would've also preferred an angel hair pasta as opposed to thick spaghetti. My family has been coming to Ti Amo since they opened in 1996... and for a good reason. Most of their food has good sized portions for a family. The price is very reasonable and the food reflects well beyond what it costs. All food is made in house when you order. The pasta/pizza sauce they use is not overwhelming nor does it taste extremely salty... a bonus for Italian food. You likely won't get heartburn for this Italian food. So tried place via a recommendation. Want to support local places. First thing I noticed was no one working seemed to want to be there. Not a smile to be found anywhere. I had placed a take out order and when I came to pick it up after the allotted time I continued to wait and wait.... waiting now actually.... 743 and was told 10 minutes ago 5 minutes. While awaiting my food I am looking around the tables are all dirty. So far they only clean tables as needed. I have a strange feeling my food is sitting there bcs they never checked when I gave my name to pick it up. Seems completely disorganized. When guests have to ask they server if they have salads coming... long pause and she says yes. Still here 753.... Still no food. I am hoping it is bad they do everything fresh and it is amazing. I am spoiled by the Dallas pizza restaurants because the food is just "ok" for me. That's just a personal opinion, but the pizza didn't impress me nor the breadsticks. I ordered for the first time today. It was delicious. Had a pasta sampler lunch special which included salad and rolls for $6.95. My husband's was the same price but with chicken parm. This has become a new favorite for my family. The family has had this restaurant in the same location for 25 years and they keep the prices so low because they only accept cash and check. Come here for the pizza. That's my main takeaway. We got pasta sampler and eggplant parm. Both were good but eggplant parm is not the typical breaded type. So was a slight disappointment but still tastes good. Veggie pizza has a variety of yummy toppings. Definitely worth the price - competitive with some of the chains' price points but way more flavor and love in the food. I was in the neighborhood with my mother and we wanted Italian, but what we got was mostly tasteless in a dreary run-down place. This really is a tired looking place in desperate need of a paint job. The walls were chipped and gouged and very dirty looking. And for a place that seems to attract the senior set it's sad that there was no handicapped parking anywhere close to the door. We sat ourselves and were almost immediately greeted by our waitress. Ok, greeted was an overstatement. No smile and she mumbled. She brought our drinks and asked for our order. We had been there about 3 minutes and hadn't even had any time to look at the menu. But to be fair the place seemed to be full of regulars so I guess she assumed we just knew. I asked if they had calamari. She didn't seem to know what it was and said she didn't think so. Moving on! I ordered the shrimp scampi for me and my chicken piccata for my mom. The rolls that came quickly to the table were fresh out of the oven and tasty, but NOT the garlic rolls that were supposed to come with the meals. The salads are just iceberg pieces overdressed with a ton of dressing. It got sloppy very quickly. My scampi had 6 very large shrimp and a nice amount of linguini....but again, NO garlic, or any flavor at all, really. Who makes scampi without any garlic? The piccata was a little better since you could taste the lemon and capers, but just not very good overall. Huge portions and dirt cheap prices though. The one thing that tasted good and yet was a tiny portion was the cappuccino pie. But again, dirt cheap. And for such an inexpensive place I was shocked that they charged us $2 for extra sauce for the piccata. There are so many restaurants in this area and I look forward to trying as many as I can....just not this one again, unless I just want some hot fresh rolls (buy some garlic and learn how to use it!) and pie. read more

How this place gets an overall 5 baffles me. I had a chicken parm entrée. Not very hard to screw this up? But... The sauce was flavorless and runny like you would get out of a jar of Ragu. The chicken was thin, tough, and tasteless, similar to a rubber bicycle tire, and the "garlic bread" was a small loaf of heated bread with some garlic powder on it. Sorry, but it's definitely not worth $15. Not to mention, it is 2022 and they still don't take credit cards. WTF?? I won't be back. read more

My dish was good, bread was good, but the inside of the restaurant could use a deep clean. We picked a table to sit at but then switched due to a large cockroach on the floor. Ehhhhh. Pizza: taste was fine. Texture. icky. Pizza should be able to be folded but should not droop like a limp noodle when you pick it up. I had one slice and was glad I only ordered one. Stromboli: Was overdone and had two burnt spots. Sausage was really heavily salted to the point it overpowered and made the stromboli not very good at all. I was torn about taking the leftover carcass home or not but guilt at leaving it won over. Service: The young girls seemed surprised I wanted to have a seat rather than get take out. They never checked on me to see if my food was alright. Not impressed. I'll stick with Tony's by Tom Thumb over Ti Amo's. read more

The food is pretty good and the price is more than reasonable. The place is a small family owned restaurant. They do not sell bear or wine, but they do have a BYOB policy which is nice. The food that I had was good, and the entire party I was dinning with was very pleased. I have had their pizza. I liked it. It was pretty much what you would expect out of a private business. I have had the stromboli, and again it was what you would expect out of a small restaurant. My wife has ordered their pasta and she was happy with it. read more
