How this place gets an overall 5 baffles me. I had a chicken parm entrée. Not very hard to screw this up? But... The sauce was flavorless and runny like you would get out of a jar of Ragu. The chicken was thin, tough, and tasteless, similar to a rubber bicycle tire, and the "garlic bread" was a small loaf of heated bread with some garlic powder on it. My dish was good, bread was good, but the inside of the restaurant could use a deep clean. We picked a table to sit at but then switched due to a large cockroach on the floor. We happened upon this place because we were wanting Italian, the kiddo wanting pizza, and the first place google had suggested was closed (at 2 on a Saturday!?). Ti Amo is close by to our house and we were very hopeful it'd be delicious! The inside is dated to say the least but pretty clean -- the ceiling fans could use a good cleaning, but otherwise it didn't look bad. There was one guy working the front of the house and he was friendly enough but not too attentive and spent his free time sitting at a table in the corner instead of bussing tables of customers that had left already. There was two other parties in the restaurant with us and there were two tables that were left un-bussed the entire time we were there. My boyfriend had the eggplant parmesan, I had the manicotti, and the kiddo had two slices of cheese pizza. The house dressing with the salad was great (maybe homemade?!) but the salad itself was disappointing. It looked like it was a bag of iceberg that's mixed with a couple carrots and cabbage. No romaine here. The bread was the best part of the experience, I think. it tasted homemade and was piping hot, only downside was it came with little packs of margarine. Real butter or dipping oil would have been great for that delicious bread. I didn't care for the tomato sauce used for the pasta, it was almost too sweet? Tasted like it came from a can/jar and not as authentic as I would have hoped. My boyfriend did not like his eggplant parm at all (he barely wanted to eat it) but I have set the bar high for eggplant parm at home haha (; The manicotti didn't seem like it had enough cheese in it, while cutting it apart the noodles kind of collapsed onto a thin layer of cheesy goodness. It says on the menu the pasta is handmade but not too sure, not a pasta connoisseur over here. I ate a couple bites of the kiddo's pizza and it was pretty good -- we're a big pizza family so we might order a pizza to go from here one day. CASH ONLY btw!! Thank goodness we both happened to have cash on us or we would have been SOL! Overall, I think we'd come back for the pizza but I make better Italian food at home. A little hole in the wall locally owned restaurant. We were on our way to eat else where when I mentioned that place and two seprate friends had recomend that we try it. We sat down, it wasn't very busy but it was 2 on a Sunday & there was a decent size group talking in the parking lot that seemed to have just left. We placed our order and then noticed the cash or check only on the menus on the table. Well that would have been nice to know ahead of time, so my husband had to run to get a $20 just in case. Luckly their prices are reasonable that the $20 ended up not being needed, but still... (The husband had a couple extra bills he found in his wallet to go with what cash I already had on me) The food was what we expected out of it ... May go again when were in a pizza by the slice mood & don't want to drive to far. For the Price and food quality it was really great! The White Pizza is money especially when my fiance and I add Canadian Bacon on top. The stuffed mushrooms are Awesome. Place is really awesome. The only problem I have with them and the reason they dont have 4 stars(I'm critical) is when ordering and they say it will be 25-35 minutes dont really think it will only be that long. Sometimes its 25 minutes and sometimes like last night it took an hour and 20 minutes. They mushrooms were still very hot but the pizza was a little on the lukwarm stage. Went here on a recommendation on a Sunday . I ordered a pizza with pepperoni mushrooms picked it up. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it about a seven then crust was pretty good but it actually didn't have a whole lot of taste .I was a little bit disappointed to be honest. read more

Ti Amo supposedly means a deep sense of the words "I love you". That would be anything but what my husband and I experienced with our delivery order from Ti Amo tonight. The pizza is so-so, but I coerced my husband into trying it again because their menu offers more than pizza and wings, and I especially like pasta dishes. But once again we were disappointed and this time not just with the food. My pasta sampler was delivered submerged in sauce to the point where I could barely find my three pastas and once I did, they were all lumped together as one in a big pasta/cheese mess in the middle of the dish. I knew this couldn't possibly be the way Ti Amo meant to deliver it, so I called the restaurant (I use that word lightly now) and asked to speak with a manager; the gentleman identified himself as the owner. I explained my disappointment with the meal and he got overly defensive but did ask, "do you want another one?". I told him no, I just wanted him to know that there was no three sampler pasta, only one big heap and it was a big soupy mess. He told me that Ti Amo's has been in business for 15 years and that my opinion was just that and it was not going to make 'no difference to him". I told him that I was very disappointed and he then said, and I do quote this, "I don't care". Nice. I won't be ordering from these folks ever again. I went here for lunch and ordered the lasagna. From start to finish I enjoyed my experience at Ti Amo. We were greeted when we walked in, it looks like a husband/wife team runs the place. The wife took orders, drinks came quickly along with salad for the lunch special. No Caesar but their house dressing(red, tomato...tangy/vinaigrette) was very good. The bread was fresh, made in-house and excellent. They don't do anything fancy with the bread, no side marinara, not sprinkling of garlic/salt. Their bread is simply good bread, I used some to sop up a bid of salad dressing and also with my sauce from the lasagna...it was wonderful. The lasagna was pretty standard. They put a piece in one of those oval dishes, baked it and served. probably 5/6 layers or so, a great deal of melted cheese; but, it tasted good and I was very happy with the overall experience. I should also mention that the the whole thing: lasagna, salad and of course the bread was $4.99, that is hard to beat. They paid attention and brought out the entree only after we finished our salads. I never felt rushed but rather quite welcome. I will definitely visit Ti Amo again. read more

We've ordered delivery from Ti Amo for MANY years now, but they've lost our business after our experience tonight. They sent the wrong order, chicken alfredo instead of the chicken parm we ordered. We called just before 9 p.m. and asked that they send out the correct order, as the craving for chicken parm was the only reason we ordered at all. They seemed to have no problem with resending the order. However, when the order still hadn't arrived 50 minutes later, we called to check on it. At 9:50 (10 minutes before their closing time) no one would answer the phone. We called back at 10, and still no answer. We are completely blown away by both the incompetent customer service, and the blatant disrespect. For anyone considering this place, I recommend an alternative - Tony's on Harwood is great, and so is Sal's on Industrial. read more

Absolutely horrible. Incompetent staff. I never write reviews but felt compelled to write one. I'm actually in shock this place has stayed open for so long. I should have taken a picture of the chicken piccata. I even called to place to ask if they had mixed something up. $8.95 for one chicken breast, several capers, and very sad portion of spaghetti. I have actually never seen anyone make chicken piccata that way. Very weird flavoring. May not be that weird, but it was different and not in a good way. Restaurant not equipped to handle medium to large groups. Half our order was served while the other half of our party was left with no food. Appetizers were then served cold and also served after the entrées were already given and completed by those who did get food. Our party voiced our concerns then were yelled at by staff including the owner of the establishment. Owner never apologized or offered to correct mistakes but then threatened to call police if we didnt pay. Owner screamed infront of the entire restaurant at us and said we did not have the right to complain. Overall it was the worst restaurant experience I have ever encountered and will never return. I even talked to the owner. By the way, I live in Hurst too and there business is in HURST. There are just too many Pizza places out there and I will never call or go to Ti Amo's again. When they do not care about a customer that has been ordering and taking the family to their establishment for several years and have the gall to say we do not deliver in your area is just a lie, since they have been delivering to my house for over a year. HANDS DOWN BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD We had an NFL watch party at my house yesterday and we had friends over from New York. They bragged about how pizza in Texas could never compare to pizza in New York. I was hell bent on proving them wrong. We ordered a Sicilian special, it was over flowing with toppings, a deep dish pizza that could feed an army lasted about 10 min at my house. We also ordered 2 large cheese and 2 large pepperoni pizzas. The cheese and sauce worked perfectly together to make a little slice of heaven. The pepperonis reminded me of the ones my mom would get fresh from the butcher shop when I was a kid. Needless to say my friend was dumbfounded he could not believe how good the pizza was. read more
