From the outside it's a basic building and appears to be a bbq restaurant. Upon entry you're transformed back in time a bit, starting with the old school kool cigarette machine. The vibe is less restaurant and more bar. Full bar; high tops, and a few booths. We were told to sit where we want. We were immediately offered drinks and menus. The menu styling is very basic. No colors, pictures, bells or whistles. It's a white piece of paper typed up in the default font and laminated. Personally, I found it charming. The server told us about their specials not on the menu: po boy, Mac and cheese, and shrimp. We ordered off the standard menu. I got a Cuban sandwich. Co workers had wings and ribs. Everyone loved their food. We also got a couple of salads. It was colorful, fresh, and abundant. Everything was super affordable. $5 salads and $11 entrees. Service was prompt abr friendly. We were in Pittsburgh suburbs for three days and this was the best food we had. It was casual and straight forward, but friendly and yummy.
