To start off , I've never gone to get my nails done . But in May , I was in the search for a nail salon since it was the same month as my graduation and I wanted to have my nails done . Of course there are many options when it comes to choosing a nail salon . But , in this review I would explain some reasons why I chooses this salon over others . One of the reasons why I decided to go to this salon is because it's a Latina owned nail salon and many (if not all) of the nail technicians speak Spanish . This is an important factor for me because it made communication easier and it was very comforting . Of course I also came here to support a Latina owned business. I recently brought my mother here to get her nails done and she only speaks Spanish so the fact that my mom was able to get her nails done and communicate what she wanted is something very important to myself and her . Another reason I decided to come here is when I reached out to this salon , I felt very comfortable because of their friendly service . When setting an appt they do require a $10 deposit that goes towards your service . So I came here in May for an appointment with Cinthia . And let me just say I LOVE the way she does nails and I LOVE her customer service . She's really friendly and polite . Her work speaks for itself . I asked for medium sized coffin nails and I love the way she shaped my nails .!!! When I was on my search for a nail salon I really wanted to go to a nail salon that through their yelp pictures I felt they were consistent with the quality of their nails as well as they shaping specifically for coffin nails . Moving on , I loved the experience I had here and everyone kept complimenting my nails .! I came here yesterday to get my mom's nails done and my mom also had a pleasant experience here . And she loved her nails .! I also got my nails done again medium and coffin ... This review is for Adriana. I've got my eyelashes done for close to a year now. Adriana really takes her time to ensure that the application is just right. I love, love my lashes such time savers for my everyday busy life. They look very natural. I always get compliments on my lashes. She is very clean & professional. Her prices are reasonable & worth it. I highly recommend her.. Just be patient because she is very busy. Overall the shop is very clean & relaxing. I've heard very good things about the nail techs. Went in for a new nail set and I recently moved to paramount so I looked into this place and looked clean and professional I head over and they said we don't do walk ins only by appointment and is a $10 deposit and there was a "last minute" cancellation so I gave my deposit and when I returned for my 2pm appointment the lady was still working on a girl and when it was my turn I was there for 2 hours & nails did not come out like all there pictures on Instagram & I had also asked for a pedicure and they said they didn't have nothing available for a pedicure and half way thru my nails a lady walks in for a pedicure (she was just a walk in no appointment) and they said oh yes give us 10 minutes and you will be next .... so unprofessional I do NOT recommend this place I will be traveling 35 minutes instead back to my old nail salon read more

Well I decided to try this nail salon due to all the good reviews. I called to request an appointment with Liz but she was completely booked. She didn't have any appointment till about a month later. So they recommend someone else that was really "good". I was there about 2 hours and I was not satisfied as you can see from my nails "my marble" doesn't even look close to what it's supposed to. Someone asked me if It was my first attempt at trying marble on my own fingers, like really I just wasted 50 on this. Then a week later one of my nails cracked and the gel already chipped off. What the picture doesn't show is how lumpy she left them. I can feel where she placed the acrylic. She didn't even smooth them out. My first and last time. read more

Okay how about instead of getting defensive like you do with all other bad reviews, you actually look at your mistakes and see if you can do something about it instead of attacking a customer. My pinky nail was NOT broken when I went in, it was sore because I bent it. The two "broken" nails I came in with weren't even there because I pulled them off myself and that is no ones fault but my own. And all I came in there for was to get the other untouched 8 nails taken off. My boyfriend was holding my hand because I was in excruciating pain because the nail tech was pressing a USED, ROUGH file on my NATURAL nail bending it down and cracking it and making it bleed. And when I pointed it out I was ignored. She was far from "barely touching me" like you said. I literally saw my nail bending down like it was a flimsy sheet of paper. And the nail tech looked angry and annoyed every time I flinched. You cannot tell me my boyfriend wasn't allowed to be there because it's "customer only" because every customer that was there today had someone with them just like I did and the last couple fills he was told he was allowed to be there. read more

Terrible experience here... I decided to try this place cause they speak Spanish and I feel more comfortable explaining how I want my nails in my native language, also because it has "high" ratings but the situation is totally different, the place is nice and clean the customer service is not bad, Liz the technician (not the owner) was nice to me but I'm sorry her job was awful, I had long natural nails and I ask for acrylic overlay through the phone when I made the appointment, I didn't want my natural nails to break since I let them grow for 3 long months.... however when I got there Liz the owner said that Liz the technician didn't know how to do what I was asking for so I had to accept to get fake tips over my short natural nails (2) and regular acrylic over my natural long nails... to keep it simple this is what happened to my nails.... next day one nail peeled off over night, I thought, really??? One fake tip was glued facing up, my finger looked so odd I really couldn't believe what an awful job she did, acrylic job in general was really thick on the edges, I remember how my hair got stuck under my nails edges for the weekend I managed to keep those nails on. I REGRET really bad coming here and trusting these ladies with my nails. Then yes, I was dumb enough to get my pedicure done here as well, I had to wait a long time for another technician to finish it up, while Liz the technician did the first part rushing in between me and another client she had for nails after me, I waited for Jessica who to be honest none of them had a bad attitude or I was given a bad customer service, but the way she painted my toe nails was awful, seemed like a five year old little girl painted them. Jessica was supposed to put some creams and exfoliating gels on my feet and "massage" them but seem like she didn't wanna do it like wth I paid for it!!! I had to ask her.. "is this supposed to come with a massage?" and she said .."oh you want it?". I just thought -omg this girl- she mediocrely massage my feet like they were the first feet she ever touched in her life ... whatever I get it nobody likes touching anybody's feet but then, why she even bother becoming a nail technician? I'm really frustrated cause I spent 4 and something hours "relaxing" getting a bad, mediocre service and paid good money for something it wasn't even worth it. Believe me I'm a really good customer if I would've liked it I would've been back there every two weeks but nah ahh. Please check first if they gonna be able to do what your asking for and check the price they gonna charge you cause seems like the technicians have to ask the owner every time they have to charge, like minions... such a frustrating and annoying experience. read more

I think that the nail shop is great and I love their system of booking appointments online and you have to give a deposit which goes towards your service. However if you have an emergency or you have to cancel your appointment within 72 hours they do not refund the $10 deposit back. The girl that did my nails did a pretty good job but I was not happy with them. It wasn't the professional look that I was going for so I was upset most of the time when I was getting my nails done. And then when I asked to possibly have a change I was told that there would be an $18 fee in order to have it change. In addition a few of the girls do not speak English so they need some of the other girls in there to interpret for them which is OK but it can be a little frustrating when you're trying to get your point across of how you want your nails decorated. read more

I've been to Liz ProNails twice already and I have to say I love the personalized atmosphere. Some people don't like that they book by appointment only, but I appreciate getting my nails done in a quiet atmosphere where they pay special attention to you and don't rush because they have walk-in clients waiting. Rosy did my nails and both times she did a beautiful job! My only reason for knocking one star off is because both times they didn't have the exact color/glitter I wanted. I went in with a very specific idea in mind and I asked if they had the colors and they had something similar but not exactly what I wanted. Of course, my nails still look gorgeous and the good outweighs that one little thing! I would say that if you're picky like me that you should reach out to Liz via the messaging app and see if they have what you want or something that will look similar and still gorgeous. Once she was done few of my nails are BUMPY NOT SATISFIED at all, Idk if the gel she used sucked or she didn't know how to seal the rainbow papers in correctly& she forgot to put the gemstones like the picture. I am going to give MY honest review. First and for most of you do not speak Spanish do not expect to feel welcomed quite opposite. As for as my pedicure my toes my cuticles were NOT cleaned or cut not to mention my nails on my toes felt scratchy when finished it was horrible. I got a full set with gel on my hands now when I say it was a terrible job my nails are extremely uneven and my husband even noticed how bad of a job and for him to notice. They are uneven and lumpy and you can tell where more acrylic is needed. My nails and feet look like I could've done them myself and do not look professionally done. I'm extremely disappointed in my service and customer service as well the worse nails I've ever got not to mention how over priced I got charged. Prices are not listed anywhere and I was only told how much it was until after the service was finished. I will not go there again definitely needs more training. read more

I wanted to like this place but after trying to reschedule an appointment, I definitely won't be going back. I booked an appointment for a Saturday and when my husband surprised me with a weekend getaway I needed to reschedule. To my surprise they said I could reschedule but they were keeping my $10 deposit. Because there is a language barrier issue with those who answer their phone (only Spanish speaking) I repeated I wanted to reschedule not just cancel in which case I would understand keeping my $10. But no, they repeated it is there policy to keep the $10 even if I reschedule, and that I would have had to cancel 48 hrs in advance to get my money back.
