I had to wait for my iPhone to be fixed and DESPERATELY needed a pedicure. I strolled the mall until I found Liz Nails. As I walk-in, I anticipated I might have to wait a while - but after only 10 minutes, they got me in. Lina did my pedicure and she was simply STUPENDOUS. I don't often use that adjective, but she WAS! She was gentle, she listened to my issues (I have some feet problems), she was kind and chatted with me (not to excess) and her attention to detail was outstanding! She really made sure that I was happy with my pedicure and double checked her lines to make sure everything looked perfect. I've attached a picture (I admittedly have ugly-a$$ feet, but that's why I get pedicures, to make them less ugly) and I wish I had a before picture because the difference is impressive. Instead of just super-glue-ing my chipped left big toe nail, she REPAIRED it too (no charge) which was much appreciated!!!! My pedicure was $70 but then that's pretty normal for a full pedi around town (included the usual goodies). The salon looked clean and everyone was friendly. I am going back next week when I have more time to get my hands done. :) read more

I came here with my husband to get our pedicure done. The guy that did my pedicure was just rough and was just rushing. My toe came out ugly it was not worth $70 dollars. I'm glad the lady that did my husband pedicure was good and he enjoyed it which I'm happy about. Also the guy didn't wear any gloves and was picking at his nose and touching my feet which was disgusting. I was gonna do my nails here but seeing how my feet came out I was not gonna do them here especially when he quote me $100. Don't come here save your money and go somewhere else. read more

well i got my nails done Saturday 3 days ago, and they put the nails on so far it looks like i need a fill already. they barely scrubbed the dead skin on my feet when i got a pedicure, then my fake nails are not even. they did not clean up my nail beds at all. they just took my polish off. granted i was in the chair while they started my manicure i then said i wanted fake nails, so i moved to the chair, but it was apparent my nails needing cleaning up. we tipped really good but i am not pleased. eye brow was great she did clean them up. my mom works on the slope and comes here a lot, she had a hunk of skin on her toe they missed too. we spend 380 dollars and tipped everyone 100. i may ask them to fix my nails. read more

We only went for pedicures since I got my nails done prior. To start when we sat down they offered us bottles of water, the massage chair was everything you wanted, and there was perfect amount of color options. I took my daughter (12), and she started holding her leg down so that it wouldn't shake since she's ticklish and the kind lady working on her didn't tell her to stop laughing, she only smiled and asked her if she was ok. To add another woman working on someone else told her she was beautiful. The prices are amazing and the service is out of this world, 100/10 definitely recommend. read more

I knew from reading the reviews of others to not have high expectations but can I say this spot was so horrible I left before allowing them to finish the job. I went in for Gel polish removal and redo. The guy did such a poor job removing the gel that once he was done I said never mind and left. I was charged $30 for the removal. His technique for removing the gel was so damming to my nails that I had to constant redirect him and tell him what not to do and how to remove the polish. The fires near Coopers Landing filled the air with harsh smoke driving folks inside. So it was a good opportunity for some pampering while we waited for a flight 12 hours later. Dry and calloused feet and toes cleaned up real nice when the ladies here finished there work. It was early on a Tuesday morning so it was slow. So I felt pretty fortunate to have a team of two professionals looking after me with a manicure and pedicure. We chatted amongst ourselves all the while. Weeks later they still look good. This was the BEST PEDICURE I've had . Holly was great and it is located in the 5th Avenue Mall. What a Great location for a "two Birds with one Stone" visit. They've updated the whole shops decor and setup so it's even brighter and more inviting. It's great having a place that can accept walk ins and get started so quickly. Came in for Shellac Manicures and left happy. At other locations I've been to I have had to get my own cuticle cutters out after to clean up the poor job they did but here they are thorough and precise. Cleaned, trimmed, buffed and polished top it off with a short nice arm/hand massage and we were out of there. Very polite, friendly staff. They were quick to smile and asked if I was happy with my nails instead of just telling me I was done. read more

I have no idea what Im talking about when it comes to nail care. I dont do it. So when invited to join in the birthday fun for a favorite sister, I did. If your nails could have an enema, this would be it. I tried to keep my cool, but in the end, the manicurist beat the hell out of my hands and feet and cut my cuticles till they bled. I felt so bad that she didnt like my fat white girl face that I actually tipped her a ten! And not minutes after leaving, my nails began to chip. By the next day, I was embarrassed to say Id had a manicure. Everyone else had fabulous nails! Next time, I find someone who speaks english and wont take a cheese grater to my feet. The service was nice but I got the Pedicure for removing callousness and the man who removed my callous also removed a lot of my skin. When I told him I thought it was bleeding he shrugged it off. This is almost like when a different salon trimmed my toe nail too close to the skin and now I'm afraid to go to another salon. I've been handled roughly by rough people at multiple nail salons. My nails are completely not what I wanted! The person who did my nails rushed and made some of my nails crooked I also wanted designs on my nails and I got plane pink. There is usually not a person at the front desk and they make you wait for almost 15 minutes. The only good this is that they where following covid rules. Friendly and fairly clean, but poor communication and skill earns them 2 stars. My regular place couldn't get me in Christmas week so I stopped while I was in the mall. My gel manicure usually last 3-4 weeks but I have already lost the polish off 6 nails. She also squared my nails without asking and I decided to go with it. Bad idea. They are ALL crooked :( My daughter also picked a nice light blue sparkle to match her Christmas dress. The gal doing her nails painted huge red flowers over every single nail. I think she was trying to be nice as there was no charge, but my daughter burst into tears in the car and said she hated them, it didn't match and she wanted the polish off as soon as we got home. David did an awesome job on my pedicure! After sitting and letting them dry for 45 minutes a lady came out and told me that I had been sitting a long time and that my nails were dry. I told her they weren't yet and that I checked them and she didn't believe me. She wrapped my toes in plastic wrap and sent me on my way and I checked them 20 minutes later and they were ruined. I went back and they wouldn't give me a partial refund and I didn't have time to get them done again as I had to head to the airport. You lost my business. read more

Had a beautiful pedi by a very nice gal. I also got A NOT so beautiful mani. He was hardly paying attention to what he was doing looking around the salon talking to others, left multiple times to do other things and I'm sure I didn't get the full mani, I ended up with a super messy, paint all over my skin, and more hangnails then I came in with.. & he didn't see a problem.. which is concerning since I paid 45 for the manicure.....The manicure was done in 10 minutes with him coming and going all the time. Horrible horrible job. The girls do a wonderful job tho! The lovely lady who did my pedi tried to fix up my nails as best she could.. but I still would be embarrassed to say I paid for the job at a salon. 1 star because everyone is super nice.. but unfortunately I did not have a nice experience. I had gone to get acrylic nails with my friend, they were done OK, started lifting almost a week later. Both of us grew unhappy. 2 weeks later we return with a third person to get pedicures. My friend and I asked to get the service to get our nails removed. On the board, it said 'soak and removal - $15'. We sat down in the massage chairs and prepared for our pedicures when they came up and just started clipping down our acrylics down to the nub of our fingers. They then grabbed the unused fake nails and started slicing under the edges of our acrylics. Essentially, they ripped off our nails with no soaking process. A few days later and even a week later I am experiencing discomfort. A couple days after as well, after the pedicure, I noticed an itchy rash that has turned into a giant irritable dry spot that has grown in size. After I got up from the chair, they simply rinsed the bowl and refilled it for the next customer. I am assuming because of the lack of cleaning I may had gotten a mild form of athlete's foot. Had high hopes but I left with discomfort and skin irritation. I never right bad reviews but I had discovered more and more issues after my last visit and it is just ridiculous. They are super nice, the work they do unfortunately doesn't reflect such. read more

I was visiting Anchorage and needed to get my nails done. The lady who did my eye brows was AMAZING! I was very pleased and that was probably one of the best eye brow waxes I ever had. Another lady did my nails and they were perfect. The gentleman who did my little cousin's nails messed one up and when she asked him to fix, he gave her attitude then talked about her in a different language. That is why I am giving them two stars.
