I have read all of the negative reviews and my experience wasn't anything close to that. My Mom is 92 yrs old and the bed she has is too high for her to get up onto anymore. It got to the point where she slid down and was on the ground. I immediatley went to another competitors store on a Sunday and was going to rent the truck from them. Showed the lady my insurance card and she said it would be a little wait, two hours later she calls me up, then she informs me that since my wife's name was on the insurance card(the one she looked at) she couldn't rent the truck to me. And then I asked them the earliest delivery time after I explained the situation with my Mom, They said Tuesday at the earliest. I asked them if they couldn't slide her in on Monday, absolutely not, called for a manager he said the same thing. This was after I had already purchased the bed. So I went to living spaces and they found a lower to the ground bed for me for a good price and even had two of their guys come out and install the bed on Sunday evening around 6:30. They did a great job and My Mom is able to get in and off this bed so much easier. I feel like in my case they went the extra mile to try and help out as much as they could. read more

Update August 2023. I had gone round and round with the Special Order department regarding my sofa and chaise. After many emails and text messages. They agreed to replace my furniture and ensured me that the new special order would be given special treatment. As the day approached to have my new furniture delivered, I was excited. Unfortunately, from the very minute, the truck rollup door went up. I could see there was no special treatment given to my furniture. The sofa was standing on end, and the chaise was standing on its back rest. Once inside, the delivery crew flipped the half-assed packaged furniture onto their faces, flexing the frame. As they cut away the plastic and tape, the damage began to appear. The underside felt skirt was pulled away from the staples and torn in several places. There's a tear at the bottom of the sofa. I was and remain very disgusted. I told the delivery crew to take it back! It's been a few days, and I haven't gotten a call or email from the special order department manager. I purchased a table from the location on Latham and it has been nothing but a nightmare from day one. First, they put down the wrong address and for some reason "couldn't change it in the system" so we ended up having to pick it up and assemble it ourselves. Second, the bench broke after maybe a month and a half. We sent for a replacement and it came delivered damaged. I went online to check our order to see if we could replace the bench for two chairs, and they charged us for TWO benches instead of one. The "customer service" line is a complete mess. They won't transfer you to the store for any reason to speak to a supervisor. Never have had such an issue with buying furniture. After purchasing several rooms of furniture over the past 3 years from Living Spaces, I can no longer recommend them, or shop for future purchases there. We had one of our sofa cushions lose its resiliency (firmness) and inquired about options to just replace the cushion. The sofa is only 15 months old. We also paid for their extendEd 5 yr Care Plan thru Uniters. Both the Uniters Care Free Plan company, and Living Spaces told us that there is nothing they can do. Beware of considering a purchase here, and for sure do not consider paying the extra cost for the Care Plan. read more

Today I went to the Phoenix location to purchase a mattress. As I entered the back way ( outlet area) , the kindest girl greeted and took the time to guide towards the right department to start my search for my new mattress. As I made my way to the mattress department, I received a phone call. It was concerning a personal issue with a family member and I needed to speak with them for a little bit. I had my earbuds in and I was just pacing the room, touching the mattresses, but it was very clear. I was on a phone call. A guy from the department kinda kept following me and making me feel uncomfortable that I was on the phone. Kept getting up and staring at me as I was touching the mattresses. Almost like I was taking up his time. So right off the bat, I wasn't feeling very uncomfortable about this associate . Once my phone call came to an end, I greeted him and started to explain why I was in need of a new mattress, and I had some questions. He immediately lost his patience and was totally disrespectful about the conversation. Another associate overheard it came over and she was absolutely above and beyond trying to restate any information so that they would be easier for me to understand as well as make a decision. Yet the guy was super condescending and rude. I am assuming that this business has cameras throughout their business. I strongly suggest you go back on and rewatch how your employee treats someone who is about to purchase an item from you guys. After he was disrespectful, I just hightailed towards the exit but decided to stop by the customer service desk & spoke to another young lady who was incredibly kind and I just told her that he was so rude that I needed to leave.She did try to grad a manager for me but, his rudeness triggered me, and I knew I was gonna be more upset if I had to continue talking to anybody. Update: Decided to call one more time before driving down in-person to sort things out. Hold time was 19 minutes, but from time they answered to time they sorted everything out, it took an additional 17 minutes. Getting a refund - "The check will be in the mail." May update again when check received, and may give them one additional star for finally figuring this out (164 days since purchase, 72 days since refund promised). We bought a custom made couch on 10/25 from the Scottsdale location on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. We were told it would take 11-13 weeks for delivery. Purchase price for our order was $3442. After the 13 weeks had passed, we contacted them on 1/26 about our missing couch, and they offered a partial refund of 10% for our wait, but only after the couch was delivered - basically call back then. About a week later, we were contacted about the couch and we set up delivery for 2/10. On that date, they only delivered the love seat portion and told us we had to reschedule for the rest of the couch. We were able to set up the rest of the couch to be delivered On 2/15, which did happen without incident. Since the delivery of the couch, we've been calling Corporate customer service to no avail. We have tried multiple calls, multiple times a week, at different times of the day. Each call they answer and forward us to a manager's line, where we sit on hold for HOURS with no one answering. I came in yesterday and bought a couch from the Gilbert location! I made a customized order to make it smaller and called same day to make a change however they closed @ 8pm and unable to make any changes. I called the next morning and made a call with their customer service and there were barking dogs in the background! How unprofessional! I was like am I calling a place of business? It sounded like a work from home employee who had dogs in the background! She couldn't even hear me! So that was not a productive call! I decided to go straight to the store and spoke to our salesperson who then referred us to her manager Maritzia. She basically told us we will have to pay an extra $500 to buy the couch as is and skip the small change we requested yesterday less than 24 hours ago!! Not even a day has passed and she is saying we will have to pay $500 to cancel the special order and buy the same couch as is. We barely changed anything on the order just the size and wanted to chaise on the right instead of the left! This really is poor customer service in my book! When we asked about other option she discouraged us from doing anything other than calling the same customer service number and would not provide us any contact information for corporate office. She kept saying Carmen would not be able to do anything and when asked what her number was , she said I cant give out her number . She referred us back to customer service who they said is not really helpful in cases like these! They only give you one phone number which is to a place where the operators cant really help you much. They will give you no other phone numbers for corporate or even the individual stores. You have to drive back to the store to talk with anyone to solve an issue. I had a big problem where they cancelled my pick of an item that was to be returned TWICE. I told them I was leaving town the next day and they said they would arrange to pick it up when I returned. They told me my $750.00 refund could not be issued until they received the chair. I asked for someone else to talk to about going ahead to issue the refund right away since it was their Fault. They said they had no numbers for either Corporate or the any Store. I had to empty my car that was packed for my trip and take the Chair back to the store myself. I am 71 years old with a Bad shoulder. . I was planning to buy a different Recliner with Living Spaces but after this crap I will never do business with them. Too bad because their store employees were wonderful. Even the store employees are not given any numbers for issues. This is NO WAY this should have been a problem. We contact customer service to process the change; however you can only contact the corporate line. There is no number for the local store. After we contacted customer service to make the update, again they sent the wrong order. In good faith we decide we will make a 3rd attempt to get our correct order-- we really liked the bed. Well, my good faith was for nothing. We received notification the bed was back in store (their online tracking system); however, did not hear anything from Living Spaces. We called and visited the store location only to get excuse after excuse as to why our order was not completed including the individual that is responsible for checking the store wishlist dropped the ball (multiple times) and did not place our order. The person we spoke to also acknowledge how horrible their location is and they are known to have a lot of order mix-ups. Umm sounds like a store problem. We wanted a solution and really were only giving excuses after excuses. It's really sad. We have a home in Arizona and Florida, we were in Arizona buying furniture for our home there and setting up delivery when we saw another sofa we liked better and considerably more money. My wife used to sell furniture and we are both pro warranty so of course we wanted the warranty on the sofa especially since the cost was 3 times a much. They said the receipt would be emailed and we set up delivery. Unfortunately Hurricane Helene and Milton was hitting Florida thus we had to leave as we have pets they needed us to return back to Florida. Today is the first day I have had a chance to check for receipt and thus it was not there so we called to get receipt emailed to us, upon receiving the receipt we noticed the warranty was not on there we knew the cost was $542 but was no where on our receipt. I called immediately explained to the service person what transpired and her smug as self just said too bad you can't return it you are over 7 days, and warranty is 72 hours. This was not our mistake this was the mistake of Living Spaces, you didn't give us a receipt in person and wanted everything handled by email. They keep priding themselves on the google reviews and look at yelp reviews it says it all. You have lost a good customer and hopefully this review will deter others from shopping there as well. Bought a sofa with recliner that stopped working right away. Called for repair . Guy came out and said he would order motet, and I would hear back for repair. After practically killing myself several times on the recliner stuck on recline, and not hearing back for 3 weeks, they gave me store credit, because they no longer carried the sofa and could not repair. They told me I had to get rid of it myself. I am handicapped, and have trouble walking, and told them I paid to have it removed, and store credit did me no good as I have no transportation. Today my Tempur Ergo Extend horizontal eastern king bed was delivered damaged. The two workers came to drop off my bed but said they were not there to set it up. Which was wrong I was told by my sales person they would haul any bed away and set up the new one. Well when they did set up the bed they didn't inform me it was damaged. They put it together and when they tried to use the remote to do the lumbar lift it didn't work. They said it's probably a electrical issue. Which was a lie! The mettle part was completely damaged as seen in the photo I have attached! Customer service offered 3 choices, return/refund, technician to come look at it, or swap it out for another product. Well I thought maybe a technician could figure it out thinking it was electrical. Since it wasn't electrical and actual structural damage I would like a full refund. When I called back to cancel I was given the run around. It would be 4 months for a replacement. They should've never left an item that has metal damage! Very unprofessional and rude of them not to say there was structural damage, instead of an electrical issue. I will never purchase from living spaces again. I've had a terrible experience since trying to use my carefree warranty 2 months ago. We got a new couch ordered in store with help of an associate (to avoid any mistakes!) who confirmed our new delivery address MULTIPLE times. Sometime after the order was placed in store, the delivery address reverted to our old address and was scheduled for ACROSS THE COUNTRY. We moved to Chicago and the couch was to be delivered to Phoenix, AZ. Had a very rude exchange on chat with someone who said I would need to pay a fee to reschedule, despite the fact that this error is on the Living Spaces end. I called and had another unhelpful experience. The next day, we've now received an updated delivery window for the correct address but will have to wait AGAIN another 3 weeks to receive the couch. I called customer support again and was told there was nothing Living Spaces can do to prioritize or expedite the order. I have tried to be very patient and polite but have gotten absolutely no help from any of the several support contacts I've spoken with. They all also are treating me like this is my fault and they're doing me a favor by not charging a fee to change the delivery address. But the error is on their end, we confirmed the delivery address in Chicago with the store associate on their screen multiple times while ordering. Ordered furniture for Florida home in Nevada local store, we were never told that not only when the furniture is delivered, they will leave it at the front door, and we have to put it together! When we purchased this furniture, we were told that if we also purchased the Care Free warranty, then after 5 years of not using the warranty, we would be refunded for the warranty. We were informed that we would receive a letter from Living Spaces with the refund some time after the five years. Five years past and I called Living Spaces regarding the warranting. Apparently, although never meantioned to us or noted on the paperwork provided, they will only honor the refund if you contact Living Spaces within 90 days of the policy expiring. This was never noted. Also, when we called Living Spaces prior to its expiration, we were never informed of this policy either. We were just informed that we would receive a letter with the refund. What a scam -- now we are unable to recieve the refund for the Care Free insurance because we are past the 90 days. Plus, I have paid for the care free plan for other furniture that I have purchased over the past few years and can now see that is a waste. I would like the refund for the care free plan! read more

Our living spaces bill was charged 5 months of late charges my husband called this creditor and told them he's been off from work since April the spring semester was over at GCU and the adjunct teachers don't get paid during the summer and was he able to set up a payment arrangement and would they stop charging all the late fees and would they refund all those late fees. The creditor would only refund one late fee he was told only one per year and didn't make payment arrangement with him and reported these missed payments to the credit bureau and now his FICO score has dropped 58 points. Last January Living Spaces sent us a very broken wall unit (charged a delivery fee!!) and proceeded to set it up in our home. I refused the wall unit but my husband insisted on keeping the TV stand. We returned the TV stand to the store 3 days later and had no stand until our next delivery 3-4 weeks out. Needless to say, I was shocked when I received a bill a few weeks later for the original TV stand $$$. I called to discuss this with Living spaces and was told to jump off a cliff and call Synchrony bank. I called Synchrony and they side with Living spaces. My issues. They charged me 2x for delivery fees (extra $200) and my "no interest for bla bla bal started 4 weeks before i received my current wall unit/ TV stand. Service: We made a decent sized order $18k (three mattresses, mattress protectors, three bed frames (twin, king, queen), reclining couch, reclining loveseat, reclining chair, dining table with four chairs and bench, side cabinet, end table, coffee table, two dressers, five night stands). They forgot the side cabinet, put the warranty on the twin bed not the king bed. We had to drive back to fix the order and it was still wrong. Almost a year later. The drawers on the king bed won't close all the way and the night stand tops are separating leaving a n unfinished gap on top. The reclining couch electronics no longer work. The reclining love seat buttons don't always work, the cushions show wear you'd expect on a five year old couch. Plus the right side snaps, cracks, jumps the track, and sometimes just plain won't go back down from recline. The twin bed drawer won't close all the way. The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my lifetime. I bought a large sectional in August and noticed that after two weeks of use, the fabric began fraying, pilling and unraveling. I contacted the warranty department and sent photos. One staff member saw the photos and approved for replacement cushion covers to be sent. When I responded and agreed on that solution, a different warranty member replied and said she denied my claim because pilling and fraying (even after one month) was normal. To agree to resolve an issue, then turn back and deny the claim is dishonest and horrible business. It will be my last time ever purchasing from them again. read more
