I'll explain: back in February, 2026, i spoke to Jake about mattresses. He was helpful, but he's no longer at this company, probably because he didn't really know if a Titan Core mattress edge had good support. He said it did bc independent reviews said so. I paid for mattress and then order was lost. It took weeks to get it. I did finally the mattress and was sorry almost immediately about the edges. They never "fully" changed, were always saggy. After speaking to James several times, i had the mattress picked up this week. Going with innerspring from another vendor...i like BB higher end mattress James showed me,, but price still high and now, after $99 return charge, think I'm done. James first said they could forego charge if i returned mattress because of the initial long wait. Then next he said he had to ask management. So much for keeping c your word. Think BB makes good mattresses, hope they don't lose your order like they did mine and then promise what doesn't end up happening. read more

Needless to say there wasn't rapport , he shamed me for wanting to buy a mattress under $1000 and proceeded to tell me that you couldn't buy a good bed for under $1000 and then he showed me beds for under 1000 which if you can't buy a good one why do you sell them? I have purchased 4 beds from brooklyn bedding as I felt that the quality was good. One of our mattresses recently had an issue with sagging and we filed a warranty claim as the be is only 4 years old and the warranty is for 10 years. After sending in 10 photos of the mattress they requested more photos. I sent in additional photos and then got a generic rejection email without an explanation. Buyer beware of this company as they do not seem to honor their warranty even though they publish about their great craftmanship. **Update** After multiple calls and emails, and them asking me to send in more photos, they have finally agreed to cover the mattress under the warranty. Not sure why they needed to put me through the ringer and upset a previously happy customer, but I will see if they send out a new mattress as they have agreed to. read more

We took my 83 year old mother in law to buy a mattress today. She has some fractured vertebrae and is suffering from a lot of pain. Alan was so kind and patient with her. She was pretty crabby with him in the beginning, but he remained professional and worked really hard to find her the right mattress to help with her comfort and healing. Although we ended up going with a more expensive mattress, he is a low pressure salesman and seemed very sincere with simply trying to find her the best mattress. We live in California and have been looking at Brooklyn Beds for our new RV. We wanted to try and lay on one before we purchased online. We called ahead to see if they had the models at their showroom before we traveled to Arizona from California. Jeffery was very pleasant and helpful!!! When we arrived we were met by Jeffery. In person again he answered all out questions. The beds are very comfortable and they have quite the variety. They also have alot of various sizes which include the unique sizes for RVs. We ended up purchasing the Arrora Lux. It was not in stock and shipped free of charge to our house in California. Several weeks later we received our bed via FEDEX and also received a thankyou card from Jeffery in the mail. I would go back to Brooklyn to buy a mattress again!!!! read more

He taught us how a good mattress should shape our bodies in order for us to have the most restful sleep. I purchased a mattress turned out to be too firm. Everybody was very helpful there. However, when I went to return it, I upgraded to another mattress at twice the price. Hoping that would work 30 days later I knew it wasn't going to be the right mattress. I called. They informed me that you were allowed one return. I wasn't told that when I purchased it and it wasn't on the receipt when I talk to a manager he was pretty abrupt saying it's in the warranty Package, which is my fault since I didn't read all the fine print. I went to R&S just to see what they had, didn't expect to buy anything. I talked to Marcel Ramos and he walked me through the 'everywhere name brand' mattresses and I am impressed with his knowledge and honesty, with no sales pressure. A delivery of new mattresses just arrived and he had me try Brooklyn gel memory foam and I liked it. He was in a good mood and he made me a great deal for the mattress, wood foundation, 2 latex pillow, best bed protector and delivery today by 5pm, WOW! I don't even want to leave one star! This company may or may not have good mattresses, I don't know cause mine never came. But they have awful customer service. I have waited over five weeks for two separate orders and no mattress has made it to my home yet. In the meantime, my roommate ordered Purple mattress and is already sleeping on his. Over the past three weeks when I've called Brooklyn Bedding about the delays, customer service kept telling me to wait two more days. So I've had to spend my time calling FedEX and tracking this mattress every day. Brooklyn Bedding has done nothing. Now today the second order, placed August 19th, is out for delivery in Syracuse NY on Sept 9th. Except I live in California! This is after I've been telling FedEx and Brooklyn Bedding that the mattress is lost/misdirected for weeks. I'm pretty sure this is a FedEx issue, but I'm frustrated that as the shipper and the party FedEx will take instructions from, Brooklyn Bedding customer service has done nothing to help and shown not even a modicum of empathy. UPDATE: I'm so pleased to be able to write a happy update. Chuck, the head of customer service, proved me wrong about their customer service. I found his name in other reviews here on Yelp, reached out to him directly via email versus their agents at the 888 number and HE SOLVED OUR PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY! More importantly, Chuck was provided additional methods to contact him, gave us options, and followed through on our choice. I've seen their advertisements everywhere and what really drew me in is that they have a hybrid mattress (foam reinforced with springs). We were greeted by Theo, who was full of knowledge. He led us around the store, asking us questions about what we look for in a mattress and pointing out his recommendations. He left us to try them out and popped in to check on us every so often. Once we had decided, he went over a few details about the frame and the box spring and then it was down to payment. Everything was pretty smooth and we were in and out of there in less than an hour. Theo provided awesome customer service and even addressed a customer who had walked in while we were being taken care of. He really knew his stuff. I purchased a mattress it was defective they sent me the same style again defective they switched it out with a Serta that was not comfortable now mind you they have a 120 day love it or exchange I called that next few days after they said they are no longer getting serta mattresses to wait on new styles coming in. This is my experience with an on-line order from Brooklyn Bedding. Below is the email I sent them. To Whom It May Concern, I am contacting you because i've had a terrible experience after placing an order. I was mattress shopping and originally decided to purchase a Purple mattress. I applied for financing with Affirm and got approved. Before I placed my order, I decided to look at Brooklyn Bedding and saw that there were more options in regard to firmness to choose from so I decided to purchase one of your beds. At check out I selected to use Affirm because I thought my approval was based on my account with Affirm and it would apply at Brooklyn bedding and not by specific vendor. I got a message from Affirm that I was NOT approved for the Brooklyn Bedding purchase and after seeing what the interest rates are I decided to pay the whole amount of my order, which was $992.96, using my debit card and not contact Affirm to pursue credit approval for this purchase. I entered my debit card information in your system, my order went through, got an email confirmation order #XXXXXX stating my order is on hold until you confirm payment has been received. On May 5th I received an email from Kalen at Brooklyn Bedding thanking me for placing my order and my order will now be put into the queue for production...etc. also on May 5th $992.96 was charged on my card by Brooklyn Bedding LLC Phoenix AZ and debited from my checking account. I assumed my mattress was being produced per Kalen's email and I would soon be getting an email letting me know it's been shipped. This morning May 12th, I happened to be checking my bank account transactions and noticed a transaction "checkcard reversal 5/12 brooklyn bedding LLC Phoenix AZ" in the amount of the $992.96 so as you can imagine, I was surprised and I emailed this Kalen person asking for a status on my order. She replied back that it looks like the order did not go through in your system and Affirm will need to be contacted to help further with my loan and provided the number to affirm. I was SHOCKED again because I did NOT USE AFFIRM TO MAKE THIS PURCHASE! I called your customer service line and the woman I spoke with said the same thing, my order in your system is showing it was placed with Affirm. I asked her how that's possible if I entered my card information AND the purchase amount was DEBITED from MY CHECKING ACCOUNT the day I placed the order and then CREDITED back to MY CHECKING ACCOUNT on May 12th. She said "I don't know what to tell you but in our system it's showing it was place through Affirm and you will have to place a new order" I asked why I wasn't informed about this sooner because i've now waisted a whole week, no fault of my own, waiting on a mattress that I thought was in production and I HAD TO CONTACT YOU GUYS for an update only to be told that there is nothing she can do, I'd have to place another order, and she also added, "well you didn't get a shipping confirmation from us so..." correct on that, I didn't get a SHIPPING confirmation from you because according to your order confirmation email, production time is approximately 2-5 business days and May 5th(the day i received my order conf) - May 12th (today when my money was reversed back into my account) I was still within the approximate production time so I didn't think anything was out of the ordinary by not receiving a shipping confirmation! I told her that YOUR SYSTEM is flawed and needs to be addressed because this is ridiculous and stated yet again, i've waisted a whole week of waiting on a mattress that I urgently need. she said she would let her developer know. No apology. Her nonchalant and dismissive attitude was unacceptable! I work in the hospitality industry and her customer service skills were insulting and rude! Poorly made mattress and absolutely NO customer service. The "mattress in a box" was left on our front lawn without a knock on the door or a ring on the bell. After arranging help to get it inside, we found the mattress to be anything BUT firm on either side. Here is where it gets BAD. Although they claim to give customers 120 days and no hassle return.......WRONG AGAIN. They make you keep it for 30 - 45 days to give the mattress time to ????? get softer? They don't get firmer after delivery. I'm in for the long haul but small claims court may be my only salvation. They "never" answer the phone and take at least a day to return messages and 3 days to answer emails. Now I don't know who the person was that helped us but it started with a J not sure if it was a Josh or Joel but he had glasses. The minute my girlfriend and I walked in we were greeted with a hello and asked if we needed water, the sales associate was knowledgeable and extremely nice. We spent 400 on a queen bed which was over our budget but we felt wanted, our business was appreciated. Just because we had a budget did not mean we didn't have money. The delivery guy came on time and came into the house with a nasty beligerant attitude. We paid extra for delivery and he immediatelty demanded help in bringing the mattresses in. One of the mattresses that he was suppose to take out was burned in a fire which is on record.He immediately said this was not a fire but was eaten by bedbugs. I felt the difference of an adjustable foundation which I thought they were for people older than myself. I felt comfortable the whole time I was there and so did my wife. He has more patience than any other salesman I have dealt with and I did ask many questions. I did have to wait a week for delivery but it was made to order. We bought several mattresses from Brooklyn Bedding. We buy upper end mattresses. We rotate monthly as instructed, and over the past couple of months, we noticed imperfections in the mattress. Divots were evident causing extreme back pain when awakening. We asked Brooklyn Bedding to come out and evaluate which they did. The inspector noted there were imperfections with the mattress and made the notations on his report. When we called for a follow up, we were told nothing was wrong with the mattress, but yet, every morning, back pain is terrible. When we purchased the mattress a year and a half ago we were told it would last at least 8 years. We have been receiving the run around from them since we asked for an evaluation.
