The Outlet Collection in Auburn, Washington -- A Little Piece of My Washington Memories!…read more The first place I ever went when I came to Washington was what they used to call the SuperMall--and now it's the Outlet Collection in Auburn. So this mall holds a special place in my heart! Over the years, things have changed here and there, but there are still some familiar things that make this place special. I have to say, the mall feels more inviting than it did before, and I was so happy to see new stores coming in, lots of shoppers, and plenty of name-brand stores. You can find places like Burlington, Coach, and many other stores, and there are also places where you can grab something to eat or get a quick snack while you're shopping. There was a really nice atmosphere when I visited, and it was wonderful seeing the mall busy and full of people again. Now, I have to mention two things I really miss--the Johnny Rockets and the carousel! Those were some of the things that made going to the mall such a fun experience. Whoever runs this mall, if you're listening, bring that carousel back and bring back Johnny Rockets! I think a lot of us would love it! Other than missing those pieces of the old SuperMall, I absolutely love coming here. It's beautiful, there are lots of stores to explore, and it brings back so many memories for me. One thing to keep in mind is they will not supply you with bags, so make sure to bring your own. I found some really good deals, but was sad to discover that their hours of operation actually ended at 6:30 p.m.. The overhead announcements do make you feel rushed to make your way out as they want you to be at the registers by 6:15 p.m. I understand their sense of urgency, but I also felt that I was going to be yelled at if I didn't comply accordingly. While I have a difficult size to fit at most trendy stores, the clothes here just fit. I love how well made the clothes are and always get compliments from co-workers. The staff here are very sweet and polite and willing to help you. They can quickly find items you're looking for, different sizes you need, or just general advice. That kind of advice is great when I'm shopping solo. I would pass on the accessories, but other than that, love everything here! As with everything else here, I wish I didn't have to go to the Super Mall to get it.
