Dunno what happened to this store, but the inventory of items has gone down. Shoe selection are now by sizes at the aisles for Men and Women instead of them being by different shoe styles. Guess it's been like that for over a year now. I remember they used to have the shoe choices by styles before... The sale items are not returnable, or I guess all sales seem to be final at the store. They have clearance racks all over the place for Men and Women. Last visit was over 3 months ago and bought 1 pair of Nike Jordan Luka 2 shoes for $60.00. RACIAL PROFILING: I had a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this Nike Outlet location due to what felt like clear racial profiling. I came into the store with the intention of buying business-casual athletic wear and running shoes. I like to take my time when I shop, looking at styles, comparing items, and thinking about how I'll wear them with what I already own. I was also waiting nearby for my sister to get off work, so I wasn't in a rush. I had time and a budget. One specific employee: a short, bald Black man with facial hair repeatedly approached me, at least five times, asking in the same way different words insinuating, hurry up! "You STILL doing okay"? making the creepiest eye contact, despite me clearly browsing and not asking for assistance. The frequency and tone felt excessive and targeted. I was also texting my partner during this time, which I later showed to the manager to clarify that I was simply shopping, not doing anything inappropriate. After the repeated interruptions, I asked the employee to stop asking me, as it was becoming uncomfortable. Shortly after that, I looked up and realized that all of the items I had been collecting to purchase were gone. The same employee had removed only my items that I took an hour to decide on, while other unattended merchandise nearby was left untouched. This felt retaliatory and unprofessional. I want to be clear: I was not stealing, nor have I ever. I walked into the store with a $500 budget and ended up spending $488. No one should be rushed, followed, or made to feel suspicious while shopping, especially when they are clearly there to purchase. What made this even more uncomfortable was that the behavior seemed performative, as if the employee was trying to assert authority in front of other staff. Even other employees appeared visibly uncomfortable with how the situation was being handled. I do want to acknowledge the manager on duty, who handled the situation professionally. She sent the employee on break, helped me retrieve the same items, and personally checked me out. I appreciate her stepping in and making sure I could complete my purchase. Still, this experience shouldn't happen to anyone. As a gay, masculine-presenting woman, I left feeling targeted and disrespected in a space where I should have felt welcomed as a customer. I hope this location takes a serious look at staff training around customer engagement and bias, because no one deserves to feel profiled while shopping. read more

Years ago, this store was the place to go for larger shoe sizes (Men's 13+). I managed to get a number of pairs here over the years. Today however, the selection is abysmal. There is one row of one column for size 13 and maybe a bright pink pair of Size 14 shoes for men. If you wear a size 13 or larger, you're better off going to JD or shop online. Everytime I go to Auburn Mall, I alwasy go to the Nike Store. Kids/Employees working hard to build there carrier. However today I my experince was different. I over heard on duty manager, Tavi yellng loud on employees in front of customers. She should be diciplined and should have taken employee to private room to discuss with them. My first time in the store and I'm impressed how cheap the shoes are and fast customer service..

Although it is my due diligence to double check what I buy, I ended up with shorts that do not fit me. The shorts I selected were on a "Large" hangar and me thinking that these things are squared away as they should be, I paid no mind to it and got XXL shorts. I wasn't trying to return the item, I simply wanted the correct size. I'll be more aware next time but that's so shitty when I truly buy into this brand. Pablo and Brian. These 2 have too much power for working in "retail" making minimum wage. They both need to grow a pair of balls because theirs are not working. Mall was suppose to open at 10, due to a little snow the mall decided to open at 11 and only informed shoppers when waiting for stores to open at 10, unless you check their website, who checks that before going to the mall ? I wanted to return an item I bought the day before, I made sure I would be there at 10 so I could head back home to Vancouver for work. All the employees were there, all arrive to open at 10 am, they are being paid not to open the doors. I explained that I have to head back to Canada and Pablo refused to let me in as other stores were open and letting people in. I was upset and angry as this is not how you treat customers. Comments were made. Waiting 1 hour for them to open they refused to help me. Would not do my return and I also wanted to purchase an additional 6 items. Outright refused. Great selection of shoes, at pretty decent prices! The staff was very helpful, without being too overbearing, which is my favorite thing in the world. While trying on shoes, Ian said, "the one you have on the left (I had a different shoe on each foot) the item of the week is last years model, you should try that one out" it was a totally different color scheme, that is usually not my style (I don't like pink, and it has a hot pink accent) but I totally love them, low and behold...bought them! I really wanted to like the store. I understood with Covid protocols that things would be different but it was a challenge. First of all the store was supposed to open at 11 AM and at 11:05 AM I was the first in line standing at the front of the store with my son and they still were not open. He finally opened the front of the store at approximately 11:09 AM. I'm not sure if it's common for them to open the store whenever they would like versus what the stated store hours are. Once we were in the store I did not get approached by any staff asking if we needed help, or seeing if we needed anything. They seem to still be having some sort of staff meeting for a while even after we were in the store. Even after I was able to help myself and find what I was looking for for my son I checked out and left. I probably would have spent more money if somebody would have helped me or showed me anything that was additionally on sale but sadly that did not happen. Me and my mother always visit Nike Factory couple of weeks in a row, and we weren't wasting our trip to the store. Fair price, the amount of choices was comparable to other sports brand. Unique shopping experience as always. I found my favorite jogging pants or shorts here at Outlets. They usually have the buy 1 get 1 50% off of the market price which can be a very beneficial thing to us, so our needs for clothing are taken care of before holidays. It may seem the storage department lacking the for each individual item, but at least its the best they got. And like Banana Republic, sales offer reward coupons on special fitness trends if you're a loyal customer. read more

I decided I wanted to go on a hike this week end and realized I didn't have any good hiking shoes. I've always wanted to try and north end outlet but that's way to far from my house so a coworker told me about the on in auburn ( a lot closer to me house by 30 mins) I came in the afternoon on a Saturday so I was expecting it to be really busy and it wasn't. No room to try on shoes on a weekend as there is no place to sit and shoes are all over the benches. Staff at front register were mocking customers in line. The customer service at this store is horrible. My husband and son are huge Nike fans and sneakerheads. We spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars with nike each year and they wouldn't do an even size exchange from Portland because of tax. I travelled 25 minutes to make a return just to be told I can't enter the store at 45 minutes till closing only so whoever is in the store could have the full shopping time regardless, even if they were under capacity. All I wanted was to go in make a return and leave I even said I'll leave my oldest outside the door to wait with kids while I do so. There was no line the store looked empty and the person at the door said no to me and my 4 kids who I dragged there just to be turned away. Pretty good overall experience. I resell shoes from here and it used to be a lot easier. They don't push out all their stock onto the floors for when the store opens which is when I usually would go. So what I've learned about this location is that they are a Factory Store which is different from the clearance store but they still have great shoes, clothes and more for a discounted price, just not as discounted as the clearance store. With that being said I come here when I'm looking for something before I hit the mall stores just to see if they have it. Customer service is great here, they are super friendly and this store is pretty new so it's clean and organized. I've never been to the ES but I think this is the closest I'll ever get to it. I came here twice in 24 hours for their Black Friday sale. And I def took advantage of that shit and went ham. I did work and saved more than I spent. I bought Flyknit lunars, some tech fleece stuff and hella shirts from the clearance rack. The ladies section has way more to choose from than the men's. My friend was struggling with an out of reach item and four employees just huddled around and were very snarky. We always find good deals at the Nike store. I've got 3 kids and a shoe head of a husband. Feels like someone always needs a new pair of shoes in my house. I always do the surveys at the bottom of the receipt to get even more deals. I'm not sure why anyone buys their kids shoes full price when you can get the same quality here. Collin at the Auburn Nike Store is a complete ass. I purchased a shoe in February of 2017, to replace a shoe that I was returning because of the leather separating from the sole. This was the same style of shoe that I was returning. 8 months later the shoe I purchased in February is separating as well. Both pair of shoes I paid $100 for and the pair in March when I returned without the receipt, I was credited with the $100 towards another shoe. Now I was told they could only refund me $69.
