I came here because I had an hour to spare, the listed business hours on Google maps were until 7:00 p.m., and because the reviews indicated that it was a clean location. When I arrived, night had already fallen. This parking lot is notoriously very sketchy with some vagranta hanging around. So just keep your eyes open. But the stock was all in excellent condition, all wonderfully priced, and the service was decent. One checker was fervently friendly, and the other was mostly quiet. One thing to keep in mind is they will not supply you with bags, so make sure to bring your own. I found some really good deals, but was sad to discover that their hours of operation actually ended at 6:30 p.m.. The overhead announcements do make you feel rushed to make your way out as they want you to be at the registers by 6:15 p.m. I understand their sense of urgency, but I also felt that I was going to be yelled at if I didn't comply accordingly. All in all, it was a decent experience, I wish I had more time to shop, but I think I will definitely be back given it's closeness to where I live. read more

This Goodwill is entirely way too chaotic. Perhaps it isn't my cup of tea with thrifting. The cash registers are super slow, everything in the bins is completely stained or ripped, there isn't much that is salvageable. The prices are good if you do happen to find something worth it. It's a bit of a train wreck here. As other reviews noted, there are about 10 or so resellers that are first in line and they run in when the store opens. They attack the bins like vultures, grabbing and digging thru the clothing as fast as they can to pull all the best items. I did find 2 really cute striped sweaters and being sold by weight, they were 2 dollars each. I also went next door in the regular good will and they have some designer purses there for about $20-30 dollars. Dooney Burke, Coach, Michael Kors. I went to a different good will and found a large suitcase 20 bucks that I needed for a trip. read more

This review is for the Goodwill store next to the bin store. They call it "Goodwill 360" but despite its boutique looks, it isn't overpriced. We liked the selection of goods though mens was sparse and a huge selection of home goods. I didn't need any home stuff or maybe I didn't have the energy. The store was very clean and organized,unlike some stores (looking at you Ballard). Staff were very nice ND helpful and the cashiers were super nice. If were in the area,we'll stop again. read more

I have been shopping here for over 10+ years. I have found lots of high end goodies. You need to get there early. It does stink lots of dirty clothes. You need to bring your bags and it gets weighed. Bring gloves because there are sharp things in the bottom of the bins. Every thing that is here comes from all the goodwills in our state that does not sell so the price tags are on them. There is every thing you need to start a new wardrobe. Shoes, clothes , luggage, household items, kids clothes and toys you name it's there. Blankets, pillows home accessories. Just bring home and wash it. It's a sketchy area there are homeless in the area lots of parking. It's at the end of the old Kmart parking lot. Next door is there goodwill store with high end merchandise very clean store but pricy! Overall if you are looking for some items the donation outlet is it. They do not sell furniture or expect those donations only household items oh and if you collect Starbucks mugs or tumblers next they have tons pricy but good. read more

This "bins" location was okay. I found a couple of things (adidas hoodie and a vintage sweater) but it really did not WOW me. I made the drive from Bremerton to Kent and I don't think it was worth the drive. There's a Goodwill store next to this location and I had to see if there was anything good in there. At first it was fine, had good options. We checked hours before we went which they close at 7pm but that is not the case at all, they were not letting people before 7pm despite the hours listed online and at the door they close at 7pm. Takes a strong gut and a stronger mind to shop at the Goodwill outlet. I've been coming here for a few years for personal and resale reasons. The "bins" as we called them, include a number of things including items that did not sell the normal Goodwill, items that never even were considered for the normal Goodwill, lots of bedding and plenty of knickknacks and housewares that are broken. If you don't mind throwing on a mask for safety and some gloves you can dig through fairly safely and find a few good things every time. But remember this is the lowest of the low and you're gonna run into stuff it smells like feces or stuff that's been wet for God knows how long. There are definitely bullies who hang out all day and break the rules. One of the rules is that you can't touch the bins before they've all been placed in a row but they don't really enforce it very well. They don't have any security so those with a mental illness to come in and scream for an hour at other buyers aren't put in check. Sure, they post rules but it doesn't mean they enforce them. So, that being said, keep your head down and bring your gloves and mask. Even better if you bring in your own large bag to shop with since the carts disappear fast read more

I called this place before leaving my house to ask if they are taking artificial Christmas trees. They said yes, as long as it is in the box or the bag it came in, they do. I drove all the way here with the little gas money I had to donate it. The people at the donation center said they were not taking trees and they don't know who told me that. Went inside and talked to a manager, and was told that no, there was nothing they can do even if they misled me and gave me the incorrect information. The LEAST they could have done was made an exception and let me donate it for TELLING ME that I could do so. I have worked many years of retail and I think it's a pretty common understanding that what you tell the customer, whether it is policy or not, should inevitably apply at the end of the day. I'm so frustrated that I wasted all of my gas to come here, and after they misled me, they refused to make it right. Not even a coupon was offered, no exception made. No action was taken to right their wrong. I generally shop here once a week or two, but I will no longer be coming here. I am in utter disbelief. read more

Give me the LOOT! This place is not for everybody. It is a really dingy kind of skeevy dumpster dive kind of place but if you're willing and aggressive enough, you'll come out with piles of treasure. This past Monday morning, I came here just to see what goodies were dropped off after the long weekend and came out with a ton of stuff for less than $20. Goodwills don't only have used battered goods but if you look hard enough sometimes you'll make out like a bandit and find new things. I found a few pieces of clothing (summer dresses) that were brand spanking new and a few spooly art kits that have never been opened before. Another treasure we found? this beautiful ceramic Thomas Kinkade sculpture that was still wrapped in its box. I love living near this Goodwill cause each visit is such a rush haha. Make sure you throw some elbows in the process if you're looking to reap some good stuff. read more

I went to drop off items, I called once I got there and was told they had closed the drop off. I asked if they could make an exception then out of no where a cop pulls up and an alarm goes off. The cop was extremely rude and said I couldn't loiter. Lol I am driving a Mercedes full of items for donation and this arrogant jerk accuses me of loitering. He was obviously profiling. Ehhh, it's a fairly typical "bins" experience, but not as good as the one in Seattle. We stumbled upon this store by accident -- it's only been open since January 2013, so it's still pretty clean and new inside. The store is quite a bit smaller than the Seattle Goodwill Outlet, so it doesn't take all that long to go through the bins. In general, the quality of the items was not great -- a lot of the clothing was in poor condition, faded or stained, and just not interesting. The shoes also seemed pretty battered and some of them probably belonged in the trash can rather than a thrift store. They do have some housewares and furniture off to the side, but when we opened up a portable clothes rack to check it out, it was missing half the parts. Most of the items are priced by the pound, but media items and the bigger housewares have separate pricing. I found a DVD, but at $2, it didn't seem like much of a discount from a regular Goodwill store. They only had one register open, so the line was so long that it wasn't worth standing in. Overall, I wasn't impressed, but if you're ready to roll up your sleeves and dig into some bins, you might find some treasures here. read more

Goodwill is supposed to be a place for low income families. This goodwill is not for low income families. EVERYTHING IS OVERLY PRICED ! Their return guidelines are way to strict. And they have terrible management & customer service . I will highly recommend going to Ross or Marshall's. Their prices are competing with retail stores . They have mirrors priced at $60 , soap dispenser priced at $50, rocking chairs at $80, Nike brand overly priced . Who ever is managing this store is HORRIBLE! Not to mention the overly priced rocking chairs I bought for my classroom that I purchased for $80 had missing pieces & because it was past the return date they refused to return it ! Ehhhh. It may be cleaner and a bit nicer than the Seattle location, but it is not that fun to shop at. Small place, they don't really utilize all of the space either. Majority of the items are clothing and shoes. Lots of bins full of just holiday decorations too. Everything here is priced by the pound. Found a few books I wanted and I didn't realize the pricing was different from Seattle - so I was rather shocked when my 3 books totaled nearly $7. I opted to not buy them and left. Didn't have any issues with staff or other customers as others have said, everyone seemed pretty chill and friendly. Oh wait, well actually, one guy tried to take some of our stuff we had stacked up against the wall to buy, but we politely claimed it and he promptly backed off, so just keep an eye on your stuff. This review is strictly for their donation policy. Apparently they have a new manager and he is no longer accepting furniture donations, so I guess this is becoming a clothes only goodwill. At first I thought it was just this location. But we drove up the street to the other Goodwill in Kent next to the plasma center and they also have a sign saying no more furniture. I'm not sure if this will soon become a policy at all goodwill's, but I wish they would post this information somewhere instead of us checking out their website, seeing they're open and taking donations, and then driving all the way there to say they don't take furniture. For those of you who still need your furniture gone (anyone else moving?) the habitat for humanity store is right across the street in Auburn. They also do home pickup if your stuff is too big to load in your car. read more

Where I am from, the bins are really gritty, can be gross, and super competitive. I've found none of this in Washington, and the Kent Outlet was pretty good. It's definitely smaller than that Seattle location but still decent sized with lots of bins. Bins all have potential to be kind of dirty, you have to be willing to dig around for good stuff. And this location was no worse than any other location I've been to. I didn't really come across any super gross stuff, the worst thing was a batch of stuff that smelled of mothballs. I found quite a bit of really great brands. Hudson jeans, lots of VS Pink, lots of Toms shoes, a few Free People items, lots of Nike, lots of Under Armour, and even some North Face. All in very good condition. I went on a Monday afternoon and it was not super busy. Other customers were pretty chill, there didn't seem to be any re-sellers, just families. Staff were all really nice. I love going to the bins in Washington because everyone is always so much more polite than in California. I would say the only drawback was that while I was there, for about an hour, they only changed out two bins of hard goods, and didn't change out any of the clothes or shoes. Overall, this is a solid Goodwill Outlet and well worth spending some time hunting for bargains. read more

I love this store you can find so many amazing things from crafty items to vintage toys if you are willing to dig . You should bring gloves and do have to wear a mask the truck is the more you buy the cheaper it is. You want to get there early so your able to be there for a few rotations if bins watch out for the regulars as they will literally fight you over a the smallest item and are quite rude in pushing you out if the row so stand your ground overall it's a awesome experience read more

This just felt like the last resort for picked over items. I can understand and appreciate that Goodwill stretches out all the donations and that for some the items sold by weight is much cheaper than individual items but I would think organization like any store is still important. The books were just dumped into bins, take time and at least stack them to prevent tearing and folding. They had all the clothing just thrown no organization of size or age group. This location might not be fully staffed but if you are looking for the bottom of the barrell this is your place. This place is gross. Everything is thrown into huge bins and you have to dig through them. There are people here who are really hard core, they wear thick gardening gloves and hoard the carts. The quality of the items is poor, clothes are ripped, stained, and smell like a horses ass. I would only come here if I were really really REALLY strapped for cash. This is a goodwill OUTLET and it is NOT a goodwill store. Some people seem to be confused by the difference. The goodwill outlet, aka, The Bins is the last stop for all merchandise from the Goodwill stores before it goes off to the dump. If you like a treasure hunt, this is your place. I spent maybe 2 hours here and I got a shopping cart full of clothes. I was able to find items for my family and items to re-sell. This is the smallest Outlet that I have been to. People were respectful. I did not see any bins with shoes. Mostly clothes and then some housewares. By far the cheapest by weight, so I appreciated that. I give it a 3 because of the small size, lack of shoes, and in the time I was there only 2 rows of bins were swapped out. I was able to find some good items, the prices were by far the best, and the people were respectful and nice. read more

The Goodwill poundage store is the place to shop. There's one in Kent also in seattle quits a number of them even in burien. They are uniquely different because when your shopping your having fun,especially when you toss the table.treasures for everyone,everyone absolutley from this to that it carts all day long. I have loved this store from the day they opened until here recently.. EXTREMELY aggressive customers and the employees really can't do anything to control them. I've had people forcibly take things from me, push and shove you out of their way, I had someone hit me hard in the back with their cart just trying to get to a new bin left a bruise 7" long across my back.. I WOULD NOT bring children here.. which lots of people do you will find them throwing things.. sitting in the middle of the floor.. I could go on and on but I don't think I will be going back, who wants to get hurt just going shopping. Very poorly managed. Hours between rotations and rotations stop very early (2:20 today) with no clear day end so you wait and wait. When we asked an emplyee if they were done for the day we were told no so waited another hour and a half before we asked again and was told they were done for the day. I would not return unless you have a day to waste. read more

Love the prices, if your willing to dig through buckets of stuff it is actually pretty fun! The only thing that really sucks is the lighting in there. I have bought damaged good just because when inspecting it I could see stains because of the awful lighting. Will be using my phones flash light next time! read more

I found this goodwill outlet to be slightly smaller than the Tacoma and Olympia one but still found great stuff. I did not care for the one in Seattle. It was very hard to find any designer items which surprised me due to its location. However the Kent Outlet did not disappoint! Will be a repeat customer here...with gloves on due to hazards of glass and such. read more
